It went well. They showed up the same week to hive me an estimate and I did not hear from them for a while. They showed up one day and trimmed the trees. Did a great job.

Great. They know there stuff. Cut off everything I wanted and shaped trees to aesthetically pleasing. I will hire them again.

Great job. About half the cost of other bid. They were there on time took about half hour. Cutting crew left and the clean up guy came by about 30 minutes later and picked up all of the limbs and raked up small pieces of tree. Most happy with them.

It went great! I think it is amazing how they know which branches or shrubbery to get rid of to open up for light to come through for your lawn. Also, they made my trees to have an upward appearance.

It went extremely well. My wife watched most of it and said the crew was professional and seemed to be having fun taking the tree out.

Abe's did a great job from the quote to the clean-up. They were very professional, worked quickly and somehow managed to avoid stepping on my flowers! We were able to use an Angie's List coupon which made the price even more affordable. This week, Abe's will be trimming our Pin Oaks and treating them for iron deficiency. Abe's is the only company we will use for our trees.

Was pleased with the cost, work and cleanup. Friendly crew, called when they were on their way. Was pleased with the tree trimming and the cleanup of all the limbs. The sawdust was even cleaned off the driveway and side walks.

Amazing company with amazing employees! They were professional, friendly, fast and did a wonderful job! They raked our entire property, trimmed a massive tree and cleaned all our gutters under 4hrs. They were friendly towards us and seemed to really get along as a team. They were smiling the whole time! We will be hiring for lawn maintenance and any other needs that arise! So happy we found them!

It went well overall. There was a major storm the night before service was to be performed, and the crew was called out on some emergency tree removal jobs before they could do ours, but that was perfectly fine. There was some confusion as to how many trees were to come out, so they came back the following day to take out the third tree. There was a miscommunication between the office and the crew, but it was settled quickly, and the crew came back out the following day to take out the third tree. The only problem I saw with the service on taking out the third tree was that the crew did not put down safety cones at both sides of the block to keep local traffic from coming through, and one car almost had a large branch fall on it. People generally choose to be ignorant of work being done like this and have to be told NOT to drive through an area where this type of work is being performed. This crew knows its job very well! I was very impressed at the precision and knowledge they have to get the job done efficiently and with minimal safety issues. They also cleaned up debris as each tree was taken down and hauled all of the branches and wood away. Outstanding work!

Although the weather did not always cooperate they were finally able to begin the removal of the trees. Everything was done as promised. Their crew was very professional, polite and didn't waste time.

I called several other companies and Abe's was the most economical. They cleared the branches away, cleaned up, and hauled all of the branches away in an expeditious manner.

They came at the time they said they would be there. The work was done quickly and they cleaned up very well after them selves. The lady that answers all the calls is always nice. If you need to leave a message she will call you back.

The quality of the tree trimming itself remains to be seen. I'm concerned that too many branches were removed from our river birch and that this will negatively impact the health of the tree. The major problem at this point is the huge pile of branches that still sit in our front yard/shared driveway. The trimming was completed Monday morning. Typically the limb removal occurs shortly thereafter, but we were informed that this would not be completed until Monday afternoon due to the responsible employee having a doctor's appointment. Monday afternoon, we were informed that due to health issues, the work would not be completed until Tuesday. Tuesday we received a phone call that the work would be done Wednesday morning. We returned home Wednesday afternoon- after business hours- and the pile of limbs still sits in our yard. And no one had called during the day to give an update. I understand that employee health problems can impact scheduling, but do not understand how a business of this sort does not have contingency plans in place. Tomorrow is day 4. The work is not finished and they have our money. Will the work be completed tomorrow and apologies offered? Or will we have to find another company to complete their job? Stay tuned. Added 1/8/16: I am the husband. I was there. There was no "obvious lack of communication" between my wife and me. When the workers arrived, I told the foreman in general terms what I wanted done. I had work to do, and we had used the company a year or two before, so I let them do their work. When I was asked to look at their work, I think I said “Wow!” and had a shocked look on my face because the worker asked something along the lines of “Is that too much taken off?” I estimate some 50 -60% of the canopy had been removed. It is a bald-faced lie that I was advised to not trim the tree like it was. Yes, I was told of the health and emergency surgery of the worker designated to clear the refuse, and the contact person for the company was professional and apologetic. But it is another lie to say that the refuse was picked up on Wednesday morning. We heard nothing from the provider Wednesday after we were assured the work would be finished Wednesday morning. The debris was picked up at 2 PM on Thursday, the fourth day after the work was done. I was home at that time and watched it being done. Ask anyone on my block. Ask my neighbor with whom we share a driveway - the driveway that was partially blocked by branches and dying leaves for four days. I am the wife who wrote the initial review. In regards to our concern about the health of the tree, my husband and I made the assumption Monday evening that as an arborist, the provider knew what they were doing. But the provider's response to my review does tell me we have reason to be concerned. We are fair-minded people. I rarely write reviews, even when contracted work is below expectations, and I was ready to update my review to account for the debris finally being removed. But the falsehoods in the provider's response are stunning. I would have been satisfied with a simple response: "If you're concerned about the health of your tree, let's take a look. And I do apologize for the delay in service." But rather than simply admitting mistakes were made and apologizing, the provider felt a need to resort to personal attacks and blatant lies.

EXCELLENT! The people were so nice and did an excellent job. The price was more than fair, too. Would definitely recommend this company without hesitation.

They were EXCELLENT! They came when they promised, they took care of arranging for the power line to be dropped. They even climbed back onto my roof with a blower and blew the sawdust and twigs off the roof and valleys. I know they had 4 people working here for over 6 hours and 5 at one time. I don't see how they could make any money for what I paid them, Wish I could afford to pay them more. That is why I jumped on this site to give them a GREAT recommendation, because I felt it was worth alot more than I was charged!

WOW. They did a great job. They worked hard all day and got the tree cut down and all the debris removed. I think the service they did for me was worth more than I paid them, but on limited income, so next best thing is to give them a great review. They setup a time and they were always here on time for the estimate and the work. They had a GREAT crew here and cleaned up all the limbs and even got back up on the roof with a blower and removed the twigs and sawdust that were left. Can't say enough good things about them!

Went GREAT!!! Fast, and professional. They were able to get this done fast, as insurance had an issue with limbs hanging over my roof. They cleaned up after. Plus, they recommended trimming another tree while there that was quickly becoming a problem that I had not even noticed. Very flexible on offering different options, and levels of trimming to meet my budget. They called to follow up after sending the quote, and even called after to check if I was satisfied with their work. Wow! Much more than I expected for a tree service company. I would definitely recommend them, and in fact have to two other people I know.

As far as the tree trimming went, they were punctual and did a good job. The trimming was completed around 11:00 am. The debris was stacked in my front yard to be picked up later in the day. They wanted to be paid immediately upon the completion of the trimming before the debris had been cleared. As I had left the house, I called their office and informed Holly that as soon as the debris was cleaned up, I would mail a check. She said that would be fine. By 1:30, the debris had still not been cleared. I called the office again and left a message inquiring about when the debris would be picked up. Holly returned my call at 3:00 and informed me that they were running behind but, not to worry, the debris would be cleaned up "today". Finally, at 8:00, I received a phone call telling me that the truck would be at my residence in 20 minutes to clear the debris. And, they wanted a check! The truck finally showed up at 9:00. The majority of the debris was picked up and the truck left at approximately 9:30 pm. A terrible mess was left in the curb in front of my house. This morning, I got up early and cleaned up the mess that was left. At approximately 7:30 am, two men arrived to clean up the mess. I explained that I had taken care of it and that there was nothing left to do. That seemed to be fine. Five minutes later, a young man rang the door bell again and asked for a check. I explained that I would mail the check as I had promised, but that I wanted someone to be aware of the mess that was left. Within five minutes, I received a phone call from Shawn who berated me beyond belief. Never in my life have I been spoken to with as much disrespect. I was told that unless I gave his men a check that he would bring my s*** back and dump it in my front yard. It got so heated that I hung up on him. I delivered the check to their office later in the morning. If you choose to do business with this company, know what you are getting in to. They must be horribly undercapitalized to be so insistent on getting "the check". Never, in my wildest dreams, would I ever consider doing business with this company again.

The gave us an estimate. Once agreed on price, they arrived on set date on time and did a great job. Very professional and their prices are reasonable. We hired them to trim our willows, a maple, a birch, and two blossoms . They also trimmed a few shurbs that were blocking our pathway. They cleaned up the beds .
