Description of Work: I was stood up several times. First appt was 4/6. Waited 2 hours then called answering machine. 2 days later received call that wind storm prior week kept them busy. I understand but I had an appt and did not receive a call cancelling. Came 4/9 to look at work Said would call Mon with date to do work. Waited 3 weeks, called again. Appt for 5/4--no show. Arrived next morning unannounced. In fairness they did a lot of extra work at no charge to apologize, but still I was treated pretty shabbily during the whole process. Their work is good but I need to be able to rely on someone to be there when expected or at least call. I operate on a pretty tight schedule and to waste time waiting for a no show is frustrating.

Description of Work: Removed two large trees on property. One was a very large elm, approximately 75 years old, between my house and the neighbors and hanging over both houses. The tree showed signs of decay, so they recommended removal. Though I hate to cut down an old tree this one was too close to the house (my gutters are constantly overflowing with twigs and leaves) and putting the house and occupants at risk according to Shaun at Abe's. It cost $2400 to remove this tree but only $1100 to remove a large mulberry tree in a more open area in the back yard. It seemed a little pricey but I felt it was a competitive price considering it took 4 guys 2 days to complete the job, also this included grinding down one of the stumps and of course hauling off the trees and cleanup etc. So I was happy with the service. From the time I called to job complete was about a week.

Description of Work: Trimmed up a big tree beautifully, and cut out a neighbor's branch overhanging the yard without disturbing the neighbor. |Added to my initial request the removal of a big, damaged silver maple, which was accomplished very neatly, no damage to any ornaments or other landscaping. Also added trimming two elms that I'd done 5 years earlier - they just needed some water sprouts removed, but these guys had all the equipment for that. |These coupons are an opportunity to upsale for the vendor, but this was very soft and kept just to what I needed and suggested myself. Whole job done in a timely fashion with good negotiation. Highly recommended for quality of work!

Description of Work: They did a great job! Was amazed with the chipper they had... it took all of the cuttings ( some very large branches) and reduced it to small chips.

Description of Work: They were contracted to clean-out 2000 square yards of tree line. This involved removing 5 old dead trees, removing many secondaries, and hauling away debris. There was no damage to the neighboring fields. Prompt, respectful.

Description of Work: ABE's rep came to my house to survey my trees and schedule service. I have a large lot and seven mature trees, so I needed more than the "big deal." I agreed to pay an additional $400 to get everything done at one time. The crew arrived as scheduled and completed their work efficiently, including complete clean up. I asked the crew chief to let the rep know that I also wanted some older stumps removed, but I never heard back on that additional job, so I hired a local service to do it.

Description of Work: Estimator was in a rush and very unprofessional, spent 2-3 minutes telling what a big job it was. Told me the root ball was my problem, they didn't remove them. The tree was blown over and dirt had to be cleaned off before the wood could be cut up.
