The man we dealt with was extremely informative. He was a great communicator in terms of the procedure, cost, how long it would take, and when he could be here. I would definitely recommend him.

I think their heating and a/c services are great, but their plumbing needs a lot work. They were very helpful with the heating and air, encouraging us to stay ahead of everything. Their diagnostic work was great; sometimes it's hard to figure out what's going on since we have an older home, but they were able to. We were very happy with their heating and air work.

They're a great company! The technicians are very professional, and provide full-services for electrical, plumbing, and heating and a/c. They've always been friendly, personable, and use state-of-the-art equipment.

The salesman, Greg was on time, polite, knew his buiness, answered questions and explained his way of installing. He had brochures of several brands and explained the differences. I would have gone with him but price was quite a lot more. I would recommend and if have jobs the other company couldn't do, I would call Greg.

We have a maintenance agreement with them so they had come out several months before. They told us we needed the burner and it took them about 4 months to replace the burner for us.

I discovered a spraying leak coming from the pressure regulator on our hot water heaters (it was spraying onto a wall of sheetrock). I called McElroy's because I had recognized the name. I was told that someone could be out within a couple of hours. A plumber was out in less than 3 hours, replaced the regulator and fixed the turn-off valve in a timely manor. He also willingly offered advice and answered questions regarding tankless water heaters for a new build.

we asked this company for a bid to replace our old but functioning heating and ac system. the estimator spent about 30 minutes start to finish checking our system, listening to our needs and then proceeded to try to sell us the very top of the line furnace and mid top heat pump. any questions i had reguarding less costly systems was met with deflection back to the top system. our heating/ac bills with an old inefficient system are less than $50 per month. payback savings would take many years and as i told him, we were planning to spend only another 5-10 years here. the most insulting exchange exemplifies his style. i was trying to learn about humidity control with the two different thermostat systems they offered. i knew how the top of the line thermostat worked and it had all the bells and whistles (pretty cool stuff i must admit) but when i tried to learn what the less costly thermostat could do, instead of answering my questions, he said:"that one is 15 year old technology" when i persisted in wanting clarification he said: "i think you are just letting yourself get confused by the internet." even when i said i liked the carrier product but wanted to understand more about what i would be buying, he did not change his approach. he did hand me a list of all the people who bought the "infinity" system and told me i could call any of them. the list was lengthy. by then, i just wondered how many of those people were sold more of a system than was appropriate. i came very close to going with his proposal as it was only $1300 more than a basic/mid lennox system we were bid. then on a heating and ac forum on the internet i found that carrier and bryant were essentially the same product. i could compare apples and apples. i called the local bryant dealer and had a 180 degree opposite experience. i was treated respectfully by the estimator, got a very efficient mid/high level system, saved $300 over the low/mid system and $1700 over the mid/high system the mcelroys salesman was basicly offering as the only "reasonable" choice. i believe their technicians do a good job as they have been in town a long time. my experience with their salesman will prevent me from ever doing business with them and i will share my story readily with anyone who could benefit from it.

Receptionist and salesman were very professional and friendly. Estimate was comparable to others I received. The removal and installation of the equipment was professional and tidy. I asked a lot of questions throughout and the workers were happy to answer them. Installation looks good. Helpful with income tax rebate suggestions. The A/C was not cooling well on a hot day, I called and they came out same day and quickly fixed it, explaining what the problem was. Working great since.

They are diligent and I ve used them for many years. Greg is the manager and he gets stuff done. We had a bathroom we couldn t get anyone to fix (the jetted system had lost pressure.) They sent two different plumbers out and they couldn t find the problem. The third plumber found the problem right away and got the job done. They are the most reliable to have a professional to find your problem.

The plumber did not seem straightforward and was not honest with me. He spent more time on his phone than he did working on the project and I felt I was over charged.
