Description of Work: Blue Dot installed a Rheem HVAC system in the lower level of our 107 -year-old home and three Mitsubishi Electric heating/cooling systems for the second and third floors, plus everything that goes with such an addition. They also took out the old furnace, and cleaned up the mess. Because of the complications that go along with the age of the house, there were issues to be worked around, and Blue Dot handled those issues with aplomb, humor, and hard work.

Description of Work: In May of 2013, I scheduled with a Blue Dot employee to have them do the plumbing portion that included new toilet, vanity, and faucets and lay the new tile in my bath. the scheduling was important because Miracle Method was to do my tile and bathtub over several days while Blue Dot was to remove and replace the toilet each day during the process due to the fact I have just one bathroom. It ended up with me not being on the schedule in July when the work was to be done. I was expected to rescedule everything that had been scheduled for 2 months. I canceled the entire job due to lack of trust.

While unfortunate, there are times when are schedules have to be adjusted -employees get sick, attend funerals, have Dr. Appts, etc. In the perfect world, none of these things would happen. We tried to reschedule this customer, but were able to make her happy.

Excellent SERVICE
Description of Work: While I was out of town, our left pumb began giving us problems. My wife was also scheduled to be going out of town the next day. We had to get this fixed that night. She callled Blue Dot because our current plumber did not respond to their answering machine. Blue Dot answered right away and told her that they did not have the pumb in stock but would call the warehouse and pick one up. They were there with the pumb in less than an hour. They completed the repair in an hour and were on their way. They were extremely careful and very polite. We would highly recommend them, especially if you need emergency service. Description of Work: i called Blue Dot on December 20th because I was having problems with my furnace. When I scheduled the tech to come out I chose to purchase the Blue Agreement, which would cover the cost of the service call as well as a plumming inspection and an A/C inspection in the spring. I paid for the Blue Agreement (approx. $160.00 the day the tech came out in December. I told the technician two dates I would be available in December for the plummer to come do the inspection as I couldn't take anymore time off of work. As of February 3rd. I still hadn't heard from the company to set up a time for the plummer to come out. On February 3rd I called the company to request a refund of the difference in what I paid for the Blue Agreement and what I would've been charged for just the one time service call. I had to speak with 3 different women before being told I would have to talk to an owner. Terry (owner) called me to discuss my concerns, however, it became clear he had no intentions of listening to what I had to say. Terry proceeded to blame everyone from the technicians not doing their job to blaming me for only spending $63 dollars with his company since 2005 (which is a blatant lie and not relevant to my concern). In truth it's been more like $600.00 not including the $2,100 furnace. Terry was too busy interrupting me and trying to insult my intelligence to even listen to my complaint. Terry tried to tell me they haven't charged me for services in the past, which again was a complete lie. I have every single invoice they have ever gave me to proove it. But again Terry said I was lying. Since 2005 I have had numerous problems with Blue Dot. This company has the worst customer service I have ever seen! This company doesn't honor the warranties for the products they sell. I've had at least 3 conversations with Rayleen about the 10 year parts & labor warranty that was includded with the purchase of my furnace in 2005. Finally in December 2011 I had to fax the proof to her so she would finally believe me. Terry finally agreed to give me back the difference I was owed. Terry and his company have proven to me on numerous occasions they are just out to rip off customers. I will never do business with this company again!! I urge you to do the same and save yourself a huge headache!

After discussing the concerns with this customer, we feel like we have done everything possible to try to correct this situation. The main complaint was- that we did not schedule the plumbing check on either of the two days that the customer had selected. This was not brought to our attention until weeks later, after the fact and we could not go back in time to correct this mishap. We tried to offer another day, but the customer was angry and did not want to schedule. From there, the customer wanted a refund for unused services, which we did in fact give her. As far as the warranty, we did stand behind the warranty and only charged for one service call in the amount of $63.00, since the unit was installed in 2005. The remainder of the $600.00 that the customer is referring to was spent prior to the install on either maintenance on old unit, service calls and a duct cleaning. I'm not sure what else we could have done to keep this customer. We are, in fact, all about customer service. We, just like, all other human beings, do make mistakes.

The job went very smoothly. They came in the first day and sent a guy up into the attic to start laying out the duct work. I sure felt sorry for the guy since this was in August. And we have 3 ft of blown insulation in that attic. Also they had to fashion a furnace room using one of our closets. I believe it took 3 full days. We are very happy with the job. It sure is a more comfortable house to live in since the system was installed. We used them for another job after this that was done well also.
Description of Work: We had them install a full heating /air conditioner system. Since our house had wall heaters they had to start from scratch.

This company does HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Although the Blue Dot name is a national franchise, I have dealt with individuals in the company for over 25 years. I have their semiannual check on HAVOC and purchased new unit from them two years ago. Have also dealt with them as plumbers. Very professional scheduling, show up on time, prices are in line with local prices. Very responsive.
Description of Work: This company has serviced my heating and air conditioning in my home for over ten years. I recently replaced a 25 year old furnace and air conditioner. Good service and good warranties.
