Even though I assured Ashley that my toilet rebuild was not an emergency, she would have had Tony here in two days. When he arrived, the problem was fixed in 30 minutes. I keep calling A-1 for various issues, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. They are the folks I have relied on for decades.

After reaching out to 3 other electrical companies A-1 was the ONLY company that would help me with my new home project. Steven was awesome! He gave me a quote on site and we scheduled the work before he left. Less than a week and the project I'd been trying to get done in months was complete! I will definitely use them for all my home needs and highly recommend you do the same!!

Description of Work: "I have used them in the past with good results. This time I was told they would see me about 8-8:30am and I would be the first appointment. I was planning for work notice. I was there until 9:45 and I still had not heard from them. I called and they said it would be soon. Soon after that I got a call from the tech and he was just leaving a customer in another town and would be with me in half hour. By this time it was now 10am... I wasn't first, it wasn't between 8-8:30. I cancelled the repair as I was going to go into work I had given enough time. I ended up buying a SHARK valve and had a cutter so I repaired the issue in fifteen minutes for $14. Verses, hours and minimum of $40 plus parts and time. I won won! | |I will try them again in the future but if I get the same results it would be the last time. My time is just as valuable to me as the money is to them." UPDATE: A-1 did get in touch with me and set this situation right. I will use them in the future.

Description of Work: A-1 Plumbing dug up my front yard and replaced the water line from the sidewalk into my basement. They also put in a new water shut off in the basement. We had use A-1 before so when we got there estimate, we liked the price and we ahead and had them do the work.

Description of Work: Called them because heater fan not blowing and tech found broken switch. After further inspection also found the heat exchanger not working properly which could have caused carbon monoxide poisoning. This was on a Thursday afternoon and the forecast for temps in teens.

 + -1 moreAfter the above conversation I just hung up and crossed them off my list. He didn't even know how large a door he would have to take it out through etc. Would not recommend.
Description of Work: I called to set an appointment for estimate on removing a very old huge furnace and installing new furnace and A/C unit. He said he would just do it over the phone, no need to come look at it. I said no way, needed to look at the set up. He said they didn't do it that way.
