Kal installed lights in the bedrooms and hearth room. They made suggestions on the placement of the lights that were right on to enhance the lighting in the rooms. When they were done I was amazed how good the rooms looked. I also threw them a curve when they arrived. I had developed a short in a bedroom cable TV and power outlet. They took it on as a personal challenge and figured it out and fixed what could have been a dangerous problem. They went above and beyond my expectations. Can't wait to find something for them to do again.

Showed up on time, was courteous and explained everything they were going to do and why. Explained the latest code changes as well Very informative and the work was done to my complete satisfaction.

Kal Electric worked as a subcontractor when I replaced my double decks with a 4-season room. They added an electrical breaker box, ran wiring for 4 ceiling lighs, fan outdoor security light, air conditioner, multiple electrical outlets, 4 floor outlets, and 12 lights (post and can ceiling) for my lower deck. Separate from the deck work, they took care of installing some dimmers on existing switches in my house. These guys really know what they are doing. I expecially appreciate Brad's suggestion on the configuation of rail lighting for the 4-season room. The dollar amount of the work includes both projects.

Both experiences were positive and the price was reasonable. They were also prompt and cleaned up after they were finished with the work.

The service upgrade was done in one day, December 28. The trench (which was to be done the next day) was delayed due to all the snow and then rain. Once it was started in April it took one day. The installation of the additional lines, lighting, and fans, was completed in one day as part of our three season room project. Brad and Monique couldn't have been nicer and more helpful during all the delays (due to weather) in getting our trench dug. Mike and his crew were also great when we decided to add an additional 3 lines/outlets in our three season room. We had a minor problem with a bad switch to the fans which Brad came out immediately and fixed. The new service panel is wonderful and gives us peace of mind knowing our electrical is up to date. All of the work they perfomed was fabulous.

We had two workers who did a great job! They had a clean appearance and were pleasant to work with! They worked quickly and efficiently to complete the job.

They did a good job. They were reasonable, very efficient, and very fast. They chased down our problem and fixed it. We were happy with them and we plan on calling them next time we have electrical work. There were three guys out here quite awhile. They were very professional, they came out quickly, and they did a good job.

Great work. It's really simple they show up on time, do what they said they were going to do, and cleaned up after themselves. Great group to work with and they are my go to Electrical company.

They came in and scoped the work that needed to be done and got right to work. The quality of the finished projects was excellent and the project areas were left clean. Beyond that the electricians were neat and friendly. I would use them again.

The service was fantastic. Brad was able to come out the same day I called and he was able to complete all the work in a timely manner for a very reasonable price. I enjoyed talking with him and he even gave me references for other work I need to have done on my house. I will definitely use KAL for any future work I may have.

All work was professionally done and work was completed on time. We were very happy with the work and pricing and would recommend them to family and friends. This was our second time using Kal and both went very well.

My overall experience with them was good. They seemed to do a good job. One of the light fixtures was complicated because there was no light fixture in that place before and so they had to run wires to it. That light fixture had a problem in the next day or two. So I called them and they came right back and took care of it. They were expensive. I would use them again.

The electrician did a great job and I liked him a lot. The price that he charged was reasonable and good too. He came right out to get the work done and the quality of his work was good. I would use his services in the future too.

Brad showed up right on time. In no time, he fixed the old outlet in the garage and upgraded it to a GCF(?) outlet that will trip if it gets any water or moisture in it. When I told him I wanted to use it for lights, he suggested putting an outlet on the outside of the garage so I didn't have to run the cord under the door. He also noticed a broken outlet in my house and offered to repair it for me. His work area was cleaned up and he was pleasant and did high quality work.

He was very nice, efficient, and the price was reasonable. He had completed the job and was gone before I knew it!

They were just wonderful! I would definitely hire them again, I have another fan that?s acting up and I?m going to call them.

Finally an electrician that I can trust to do the right work for the right price, the right way!! Brad bid the job personally. Rather than just take my order, and do all the work I asked for, he actually talked me out of a couple of items I thought I wanted... they were impractical, and there was a better way. He was very frank with his suggestions, and did not beat around the bush. When the project proved to be a little larger than he expected initally, he called in one of his crews to get the job done quickly and professionally. The job from start to finish was flawless. We were so pleased, we scheduled a couple other jobs we have been thinking about. A great example of how Brad works... we have some "cove" lighting that uses flourescents which we hate. Every estimate to replace with incandescent lighting has been a major project which proved too costly. Brad took one look at the job and had a solution that was so simple and exactly what we wanted- we scheduled it immediately. His work crew was fast, friendly, and courteous. Extremely professional operation from top down.

All I really remember is that we really liked them. They seemed very professional and courteous. They were really good at explaining things.

I had some outside lighting put in by KAL several years ago and was having trouble with one of my lights, so replacements/repairs were swiftly made. I also had a few other things checked and taken care of during the call (i.e. add dimmer switch, check switches) and I appreciate how the owner always rolls with my "list" when he comes. Great guy, great work!

My experience with Kal Electric was VERY good. They did a great job. It passed inspection with the City of Prairie Village. If they had not come out and did the work when they did I would have been without power for the whole weekend. Kal's wife Monique stayed on top of KCP&L to make sure they came out and got me hooked back up. They did it for a fair price. Kal Electric will be the first electrician I call when I need electrical work from now on.

Company called me back within approx. 15-20 minutes, listened to my problem, and told me what the likely problem was. They gave me an rough estimate to fix it, but recommended that only if it's a higher-end fan. Otherwise, buy a new one. The woman I talked to was very responsive, respectful and helpful.

Every time we call them it is great. If I leave a voice mail it is promptly returned. They have been able to schedule us just one or two days out and work around MY schedule. They call when they are on their way and have been here in the timeframe I was told when scheduling appointment. They are courteous, professional, very reasonably priced and even offer to clean up when they are done. They offered to vacuum when they were done and to put away the box and trash caused by the new fixture.
