I LOVE KAL Electric! As a realtor, I work with lots of professionals in the home repair industry and they don't get better than KAL Electric. Kathy answers the phone and does an amazing job following up with me to assist my clients. Mike will do everything possible to get to a home as soon as he can and gives objective and professional information on what repairs need to be done to make a home safe! Thanks so much for going above and beyond every time!!

I had an outlet that was hot when I touched it and smelled like hot electrics. They were sympathetic to the situation and worked to get someone out the same day. Mike Leach was able to and was efficient and friendly. He told me what happened and put my fears at rest. He remembered me from other jobs I had hired them for. They are professional and personable. I will use them anytime I need electrical work.

We had been told that our vertical bathroom lighting would have to be replaced with horizontal fixtures. Servicemen was honest enough to tell us we didn't need the electric and carpentry project we had been told was required. He secured the right fixtures, Completed the job and was gone in a couple of hours. Most satisfactory.

They were punctual and professional. Very thorough and clean while doing the work and cleaned up at the end of the engagement. Nicolas was very personable, answered my questions, took time to explain different options. I had to wait 4 weeks for them but it was worth waiting.

From the first call to have KAL Electric give us an estimate to the finished "product" we highly recommend this company. When the owner came to do the estimate he gave many ideas and recommendations for our project that we had not thought of. The day the crew of two were here it was one of the hottest days last summer. It was a time consuming project and not once did they complain about having to work in the heat. They completed project in the time frame they estimated. It was so nice to have contractors around the house that you would invite anytime. The owner came to "check" on the work being done several times. You knew he really cares about his company. Excellent repair. Service man repaired wiring and replaced photo cell. We have used KAL before.

Called at 11:00 am with an emergency and they were able to schedule us in by 2:30 same day dodging thunderstorms. Mike was punctual, professional and did a fantastic job. I would absolutely recommend them.

I'd purchased a ceiling fan and because of the height of the ceiling and the inability to get a 10ft step ladder up our stairwell sat on my floor for a year. I had tried a number of companies and handy men to come help me out. All declined. I called KAL. They came out to look at it just to see if it could be done. Through the course of conversation I shared my story and he mentioned if he had an 8ft ladder he'd give it shot. It so happened I still had my 8ft ladder in the closet. So rather than just be there to price it, within an hour and some great balancing on a ladder too short for the job my fan was hung. Personable, enjoyable. I've not had as much fun hanging a fan as I did that day. Of all the companies contact, KAL was the most helpful.

We've used Kal several times for electrical issues. They are responsive, polite, professional and show up when they say they will. This year we've had them out a couple times for some outside electrical issues and they took care of it.

Mike, Jason, and Nicholas were wonderful! They showed up on time, and were kind, knowledgeable, and very professional. I won't hesitate to call them again and would highly recommend KAL Electric!!!

In addition to the details above, he noticed we had a problem with the supply line to the electric meter. He advised us to get a new type of cover for it that adapted to the environment better (ground heaving). After KCP&L fixed our problem, he contacted me a few days later about the new cover. I told him that KCP&L had worked on the meter cover and texted him a picture of what they had done. He texted back that their fix was exactly what he had planned to do, and he did not need to come out and fix our supply line after all. I really appreciated his integrity and honesty. This was an unusual situation, but he could have taken advantage of us, and he didn't. Good businessman.

Arrived promptly and diagnosed problem. Obtained needed part and replaced GFI unit. Very courteous and professional. Accepted our Angie's List member discount no questions asked. We've used this company several times in the past and have always been satisfied with their work. They're the ones we call when we have an electrical issue.

I've been using KAL Electric for years (I think 10 years maybe?), and I will NOT call any other electrician because I love them so much. I always ask for Mike Leach. He's very professional, and was the only electrician to ever figure out a tricky lighting problem we were having after some new construction many years ago. I think their pricing is always PERFECT for the effort they put into the job. I never feel like I'm going to get some outrageous bill; they are thoughtful about matching price to effort and materials cost. And details are really important to Mike. He does a very nice job. They now have a few more electricians as they have grown, but Mike was still watching over them on this last visit. I think KAL Electric is the best. They are still a small business and work like they want to earn your dollar. Love them!

Removed and replaced GFCI outlet with regular duplex outlet; rewired neutral wires to independent terminals; replaced 1 15A and 1 40A breakers due to rust; plugged unused opening on furnace service switch

The owner came out and gave us an estimate. He is incredibly friendly! Since we both work, we needed the job done after work or on the weekend. It was no problem. The owner came out himself and did the install. When we bought our house back in 2009, KAL Electric also replaced our breaker box, and we were very happy with that job also!

We've used Brad/Kal Electric several time for a variety of jobs. He has always been very responsive, punctual, and professional with every request we've had. He completes the work very quickly and we've always felt the end results were high quality. Any electrical needs we might have in the future will always include a call to his company.

Prompt, courteous and professional. This is the 2nd time I've used them and would use them again. Suggested an even better alternative to ensure I had the best lighting possible.

I knew that there had to be a GFI somewhere that needed to be tripped, but I had searched the whole house and garage and couldn't find the right one. I also hit all the breakers hoping something wasn't labeled right and still no luck. I called Kal Eletric and they came out and we went through the steps again to find the GFI, and he also even tested a GFI to make sure it was working correctly. It was... finally he decided to look under the panelling of my bathtub/jacuzzi and low and behold, there was the GFI! I never would have found it on my own, well worth the rate to come out. Great customer service, great knowledge.

They did good work. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They were from our local area so I think that helped in terms of their understanding of the type our house and the year it was built.
