It went well. The technician spent about an hour and a half. He was very courteous and professional. He did everything that we asked.

The installers were very professional and careful moving in their tall ladder and helpful in judging fixture height (and patient while I pondered this). They were very willing to please, to make sure I was happy with the final installs. They had to return a second time to install the dining fixture because we miscalculated the chain length and it was too short. I appreciated their effort to help determine this the first time for no charge.

Brad came out early and dove right into the troubleshooting. Having watched a number of trades-folk do troubleshooting, good and bad, I felt right off that Brad knew what he was about. Why was I so sure, he keyed right into the replacement outlets and switches that I had done. And, of course, he was right. I had wired a switch correctly but had picked out the wrong switch for the application. He wired the switch and magically everything worked again. Looking at my "mystery" switch, he was able to determine that it was there to control a ceiling fan that may have been in the dining room. All in all an excellent experience, and lesson for me! Well worth the price.

The rep arrived early, installed all the fixtures and cleaned everything when he was done. I will definitely remember them again when I have these needs.

They showed up on time to do the work. They were friendly and professional. They explained things to me during the process of their work. They cleaned up everyday after they were through working and also at the end of the job. I'm actually thinking about hiring them again for some more work soon. They are a great company! I would highly recommend them.

They came out figured out the problem quickly, fixed it and even replaced the outlet plates to cover up a remodeling mishap. They were fast and efficient, as opposed to previously using an independent contractor that had charged me more than double and made 3 trips and never resolved the problem. I am very satisfied with their service and will definitely call them again!

The two young men were prompt, offered their business card at the door. The work went smoothly with no hitches except for the items that were left out of the fixture boxes by Wilson Lighting. Wilson's delivered the missing items when we called. The guys were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves and even offered to sweep the floor. This is the third time I have called KAL for work and will continue to use their services in the future.

We noticed a problem on a Friday, with 2 outlets in our kitchen (they functioned intermittently). My husband replaced one outlet and it SEEMED to fix BOTH. But on the following Tuesday, with my husband out of town on business, I woke to find that the original two outlets weren't functioning, PLUS 2 more, which included one for our stand alone freezer. I got KAL Electrics info off the Angie's' List site and made the call at 8 a.m. I explained I would be available after 11 a.m, due to an appointment. I was told someone could come between 11 and 4, which was fine with me. Even better, the repairman (in this case also the owner of the company) came before noon. He listened to what had been going on and what we'd tried, and said he believed he knew the problem. It was an adjacent (always functioning) outlet which was causing it, and it was a fire hazard. Showed me the area which had dark spots from heating up. He did a wonderful job in a timely fashion and kept us safe.

Good service. They crawled into the attic with no complaints to remove exterior lights and wiring. They removed those exterior lights even though there was inclement weather.

Brad Kalush provided prompt and courteous service. Brad explained how he would repair the pipe that slipped on the electrical box. Because the quote was fair I decided to add an additional electrical outlet to the outside of our home. Brad coordinated with KCPL a date and time and the work was completed in less than a week after the initial call. The three electricians were on time, courteous, and knowledgeable. The entire jobs from start to finish took 1 hour.

Very satisfactorily. The came within the projected time interval stated by the office. They had to go to three vendors to find an old push-type circuit breaker for installation. The workers were very personable and informative.

The work involved a thorough check of the entire electrical system. The two men were courteous and efficient.

I have used Kal Electric several times. The first couple of times, Brad came to the house. He was friendly, fair, and prompt. The last couple of times, other electricians who apparently work for Brad showed up. They were okay, but I don't think I would have used the company again except for the positive experience I had with Brad. When the other guys installed lights and a ceiling fan, the charge was quite a bit higher than the estimate Brad had given me personally a few weeks earlier. I mentioned this and they adjusted the price to meet the estimate. They did a good job in the installation and were prompt and professional. The second time I called, they were unable to do anything, as the problem was with my service from KCP&L rather than with any internal wiring. The charge for the service call was $95, which I thought was pretty steep considering they really didn't do anything much and weren't here more than ten minutes. I would hire again but probably wouldn't be my first choice.

Brad came promptly when called and gave an estimate for all work in a timely manner. Dustin returned at the pre-arranged time and completed the work faster that anticipated and below the quote.

Not well. The receptionist put me on speaker phone, asked me to say what I wanted three times. Called the boss and asked if they did what I asked. She said no. I asked for a recommendation, or what kind of company to contact. She said she didn't know. I asked her to ask the guy she talked to, she still was no help. Said I should just try another receptionist. Given the ratings this company had received, I was very disappointed.

From the beginning, Kal Electric was very responsive to our questions and needs and even more responsive to our ever-changing schedule and they were more than happy to accommodate that. During the two-day project, they were always on-time and ready to work. Despite having to turn off the electricity on one of the hottest days of the year and work outside and inside, all of the workers were pleasant, professional and upbeat.

Well- they were able to rearrange things to accommodate a preexisting painting schedule and got the job done in the time that they specified.

This was the second job that KAL did for us. They installed a three light island fixture to replace one recessed can light. They also installed four under-cabinet lights and changed all the outlets and toggle switches from white to black so they would match the granite countertops and backsplash that will be installed. Both men were very professional, friendly, efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and carried out boxes and cardboard.

Job 1: They were EXCELLENT. KAL Electric will go in my permanent file for our electrical needs in the future. It was fast, professional, efficient, reasonably priced, and educational. Job 2: It was fantastic. They arrived on-time. There was a team of three with their lead, Mike Leach. They performed with precision, attention to detail, and efficiency. They are very pleasant, and EXTREMELY professional. After they initially used a white outlet/cover, I asked if there were any other options. They happily went to their truck and provided me with several other options, then quickly changed it to my preferred color (black, in this case). It is not at all visible behind the TV. GREAT JOB! Then they tried to clean up the little mess they made, and I shooed them off. All three of them were wiping my mantle!

Mike and Dennis came a bit early, which was perfectly fine with me. They introduced themselves at the door and gave me a business card by way of identification. Both men worked efficiently and quickly and cleaned up after themselves when finished. The light fixture they replaced was a very high one (two stories) but this was not a problem for them. The estimate for further work was very reasonable, so I hired them to come back and install the cabinet lights and the island/cooktop fixture.

Very pleasant receptionist on the phone, made appointment. Mike Leach and Tyler arrived right on time and were very courteous and professional. Had both jobs completed in less than an hour (including short trip to the store to get a part for the attic fan.) Great experience overall. Price was less than I expected. Highly recommend.

It could not have gone better. They were great.

Brad came and bid job and made several suggestions, a couple of which saved me money. Dennis and Dustin arrived as scheduled with Mike, their supervisor, checking on their work. When two other guys finished a job earlier than expected, they came and helped Dennis and Dustin for an hour or so to make the job go faster. They finished in the expected time (1-1/2 days) and cleaned up. Very polite, friendly and glad to make the effort to be sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I'll hire them again when I'm ready to do an outdoor lighting project that I have in mind.
