We Organize! is a full-service professional organization company. We provide professional organizing services for home, offices and individuals. Organizing services can range from helping those with small home organizing projects to chronic disorganization and hoarding issues. If it's part of your life we will organize it!

Services we don't offer

Moving boxes and furniture to and from a home or storage such as a moving company with a truck would do. We are not equipped for this. Bulk Garbage Removal is something we are not equipped to do however, we can have a dumpster ordered or help you schedule a bulk pick up from your local agency.

NO SHOW.
Description of Work: NO SHOW. Tried multiple times to schedule the 4 hour garage cleaning and scheduling was too far in future (30 plus days). Finally got appt scheduled for 4:00. Received calls/promises every 30 mins that they'd be there. At 7:00 they called to officially cancel. I've received NO follow-up to apologize or any attempt to reimburse or make right on service purchased.

It went very well.
Description of Work: Helped my husband and I organize our home office. The service was excellent. The person responded quickly and scheduled fast as well. Really gave us the help we needed to get rid of a lot of unnecessary paper. Would use this company again.

Description of Work: A young woman came to my home promptly, in a van. She was friendly & personable. I didn't feel judged by her, & I think she really wanted to help me. I liked her. I'd done a lot of stuff to work on the mess problem myself, but I think I perhaps needed a different kind of help than she gave...we worked on a room that I want to use as a place to write, sew, do art, read. It holds so much paper that it's over-whelming. (I've written poetry, etc. for 35 + years.) When we moved to this house I still worked full--time & my things were moved pretty willy-nilly without my supervision or indeed permission at times. I've since retired but have never felt organized in our home in general . She & I sorted & cleaned. Things looked good when she left, but soon thereafter I reallized that I'd now "lost" a manuscript that it had been a big deal for me to put my hands on just shortly before....the four hour time frame in the afternoon was a little long for me; I lose focus after an hour or two without a real break. As I said, really liked the young woman; we hit it off well. I'm a people person trained as a counselor & I tend to "mother" young people.

Excellent! It went well!
Description of Work: We just moved to KC so our apartment was filled with boxes here and there. We never seemed to find the time (and energy) to open the boxes and sort through them ourselves. It has gotten to a point where we needed major help to organize the boxes (around 70-80 in total) so that we can start "living" in Kansas City. How I was glad I contacted Helen of We Organize! She (and her colleague) was very professional. They worked really fast and efficient. They did a 4.5 hrs work to help me open the boxes and organize everything in the apartment. After that, it was VERY EASY for me to take further steps necessary to make our apartment looks tidy and clean, free of piles of boxes. I truly recommend them to anyone needing someone to help them with their apartment/house organization, staging, etc. or if you simply need a "new look" for your closets or in need of advice on how to organize storage etc. I am a perfectionist and so is We Organize. It was a perfect match and I was really happy I worked with them on this project.

Excellent.
Description of Work: Helen was very punctual and dove right in to work in the area I wanted organized which was my bedroom closet. She took all of my clothes out and laid them on the bed, and I decided which to keep and which to donate. Same with my shoes. I also wanted to switch to new hangars, and she helped me with that, plus took everything I wanted to donate, including the hangars, to her car and loaded them up to take them to the donation station for me!! She was very helpful in giving me tips for other areas as well. I would definitely use her again if the need arises!!

Description of Work: I was disappointed because they showed up late and demanded more money to finish the job. They also did not clean the surfaces of the furniture the put back in the garage. They also were not organized enough to get everything back in the garage. The wheelbarrow and fertilizer spreader were left outside. A dangerous situation was created when they dragged stuff into the driveway and left no path to get across and then wanted to know what things to keep and what to throw away. I was very leery about trying to get around. When they left, they could not get everything in their SUV, so took the recyclables to the church recycling bins where I found the doors they said they were taking to Habitat for Humanity Restore abandoned and leaning against the recycling bins at the church. I called them and they explained that it was too dangerous to transport them in the SUV--they did not bring a truck also they did not bring trash bags, brooms, or dust rags.

Description of Work: Helped me clean out a spare bedroom that had become a catch-all. The sorting went well. We also changed out drawers in two dressers that had been moved, cleaning out the drawers, as well. It was wonderful to see the donated items hauled away in her full-to-the-brim SUV. It felt great!

GREAT all around
Description of Work: Really excellent work! After storing items for friends, family and having both an elementary student and baby - our garage was buried in STUFF. Helen and Erin were both professional, efficient , kind and helpful. Could I have done the work on my own? SURE, but it would have been years in the future. In a few short hours Helen and Erin efficiently helped me achieve my goals - I can park my cars in my garage - FABULOUS! If you feel that you have a little OR a LOT of "stuff:" that needs managed - don't wait. My shoulders feel lighter and my "to do list" is drastically diminished. Don't wait on calling them - they are GREAT!

Overall the women were great!
Description of Work: Ashley and Heidi came and cleaned and organized my very messy garage. They stored like items together and helped me sort out the trash. There was quite a bit of trash and the truck was supposed to pick it up that afternoon. It stayed on my curb for 5 more days. They did finally get it picked up but I was afraid I'd be stuck. I understand that a family crisis precluded the pick up but Ann made it right.

I can find things now!
Description of Work: OH MY GOD! I was ashamed to meet this company to help organize my basement because it was in a mess! I let my boyfriend meet them. I found them punctual, extremely friendly and when I got up the courage to go see what they were doing in the basement to my surprise I could see my way through my basement. They put things in categories that I would never have been able to think of. They worked fast too. They know how to organize! I feel that is their talent after getting them to tackle my basement. I was afraid to go into the basement. That is where my freezer is but now I don't mind going down there and I'm no longer afraid. I have even passed out their cards to my employer and friends. These people know what they are doing! They are great!

Description of Work: I have lived in the same home for almost 25 years and have had an extended recovery from an injury. I am in the process of selling my home and needed emergency help in sorting through and then organizing a lot of stuff/junk and a few surprises. Ann kept me focused and objective with everything we touched, either trash, its proper place with like items or a to be determined later pile. We laughed and talked our way through 2 days and a 4 room collection of hidden treasure. I highly recommend The Organization People if you are in need of their expertise, motivation, objectivity, and their attitude of bringing some levity to grueling task. Some day we all have to face the music and get organized unless you are of those type people who already have the pantry, so all the labels face the same direction.

Excellent!!
Description of Work: I called Kristi and was impressed with how positive and encouraging she was in reg,ards to my 'story' and needs. After a year of illness and a decade of accumulating everything but getting rid of nothing, my home was out of control. We had a new baby and desperatly needed to restore our home to conditions that were not only functional but safe for all of our children. Kristi instantly made me feel comfortable and not alone. She assured me that they would get us back on track and provide me the 'tools'' to continue the process for living in our newly organized home and maintaining a safe and clutter free environment for our family. I was so impressed with how encouraging she was and we made an initial appointment during that first phone call to not only assess my needs but to get started right away on the huge job ahead of us. Kristi offered the services of Jennifer, one of the company's organizers, and I was slightly disappointed because Kristi was so positive and encouraging - I wanted her. But my disappointment was short lived, Jennifer is GREAT! She arrived promptly at the agreed upon time, came in and immediately put me at ease. We quickly but thoroughly assessed my needs and prioritized what needed to be done based on my budget.. This company's method is to involve the home owner in the process so that the client most importantly learns how to continue to live an organized life and to also maximize the manhours in getting the quickest results. In my case I have a temporary disability that prevents me from participating in some of the more physical aspects of the process but, Jennifer just worked me into everything appropriately for my situation. As we have been working towards my goals we have stayed on track as to what Jennifer estimated it would take to get the job done. There were few changes from the original 'plan' and what changes that did occur actually gave me more organized space than I originally planned for. We are not quite finished with the whoile project but if I were unable to continue for any reason at this point the transformation that has taken place in my living room, kiutchen, bathroom, and the two other living spaces still under task, it would all be worth it and my home is a safe and organized space for my family. And, Jennifer has taught me the skills I need to keep it that way.
