Did a personal one-on-one appraisal. Written appraisal included drawn schematics of work to be accomplished. Set up date that worked for our schedule. Received call that morning that the crew was on it way. Their own 2-man crew, not a subcontractor, showed up on time and greeted me. Work was completed quickly and professionally, and they cleaned up when done. Did a walk-around after installation. Received follow-up call on how it went and if we had any questions or concerns. Gave us a 10% discount from the Angies List coupon "after" receiving their already reasonable price. All-in-all, great service. We were very pleased. No hidden costs or upsales. Would highly recommend.

Overall, it was a very good experience. They got the job done in a day and the person I dealt with always returned my calls and we had discussions and so on. They are very prompt and gives answers to all your questions. They are reliable. They did when they said they were going to do it and they didn't require anything upfront deposit instead of having to write a check right when they were done. We would use them again if needed.

Call was returned quickly; job was bid quickly; and, installation was completed quickly. Small job, close to a supplier and easy run to install. Easy to talk with and work with. Job was done well and would use again.

Mike and his crew did a fantastic job installing our new hail damaged gutters and down spouts. They completed the job in 2 hours and even fixed some of the spouts that drained in to the ground. They did have to come back to reroll around the house because we found some screws from the old gutters they removed, but other then that, the job was perfect. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else and already have done so in our neighborhood and within our HOA.

Professional from start to finish. Mike was informative, polite, extremely easy to communicate with in person as well as on the phone. Job was scheduled quickly, work crew showed up on time were polite and professional. Mike arrived shortly there after to make sure work had begun. Because some wood had to be replaced first crew finished 3/4 of house and Jason came following day to replace wood and attach remaining gutters and downspout. Mike also came to inspect the job when it was finished. Being new to the state and unfamiliar with the wood on our board and batten home I ask Jason for some advice regarding repairing and painting of the wood. I found out after he left that he had caulked and painted the "bad spot" at no charge. This is a professional workman. Ratliff gave an exact estimate, did not try to sell any other products and followed through in a timely and professional manner and even went over and above on service.

Great experience with nice guys who were fast and efficient. They cleaned up everything after the job was finished. We had one corner leaking and they came back to re-caulk it. We were happy with their services. We were surprised recently to learn after referring them to our neighbor, the neighbor said they did not return the call or come out to sell him guttering so he went with someone else. That was a surprise but our experience was good and will use them again.

I think I have used them before a long time ago. They were highly recommended so I used them. They did a real good job. They just did what they were supposed to do and cleaned up. Everything was good so we were real happy with them.

I called Ratliff Guttering & Siding Company to have them give me an estimate on capping an old down spout and adding a new one in a different spot of the house. We also needed some other maintenance work done on the gutters around the entire house. During the initial phone call with Ratliff they said they would send someone to my house to inspect the job without my presence and then they would mail an estimate. I found this bizarre. How could the service provider understand exactly what the customer was looking for without them being present? A few days later I received one of the cheapest little post cards saying that they inspected the property "and have determined that we will decline bidding the work." Really? You don't even want to talk about the job? You don't want to ask a couple of questions or anything? Additionally this post card seems to be made of white construction paper and its so dirty you feel like you should go wash your hands after touching it. Maybe they only do really large jobs and this one is somehow beneath them. The whole experience was strange, but at least Ratliff has provided me with a good laugh at their expense. We wound up contracting with Johnson County Guttering Co. They sent a courteous and professional inspector who quickly surveyed the project with me at our home. By the time my meeting with him was over I had a written estimate in my hand and the job should be completed next week.

The estimate and evaluation went very well. I felt like Mike (I think) was honest and told me exactly what needed to be done. I had other estimates that indicated we needed much more work at an inflated cost.They did a very good job replacing some bent gutters and redoing others that needed to be raised. Also added a corner piece where water spilled over the old gutter. They added screens to areas that were prone to collect leaves. I also thought that he was very honest to point out that some areas did not need them and that they would not be effective near pine trees. Overall it was a very good experience. My only disappointment was timing. When I signed the contract on August 31st he told me they were very busy and it would be awhile before they could get to me. It was so long that I thought they had forgotten me, so I called to find out. The person I talked to (not Mike) couldn't find my contract, so I had to send it again. It was still longer and I called again. They assured me that I was on the schedule, and finally did the work mid-November. I would recommend them for their honesty and workmanship, but they are obviously very busy and somewhat scheduling challenged.

This company and there owners are very easy to deal with . There workers are very nice they are punctual and very professional. I like that they come in do there work and clean up during the job as well as when the gutter work was complete. I would recommend this company to anyone !!!

Overall, if i had to do gutters again i might use these guys - i might not. Near as I can tell, his crews were flying, very busy from job to job with no follow up or double check. Initially, the job looked like it was cleaned up, the first few gutter spikes were in the grass, once we started looking for them we found the rest in bushes and landscaping, mulch etc- including one in my water lily pond. Based on finished gutters, I did recommend them to a guy at work - just told him what to watch for.

Contacted Ratliff guttering for an estimate on an external garage. Left a message of which was promptly returned. An estimate was given in detail and communications were excellent. We did not choose Ratliff to perform the install only due to the fact I had a neighbor who offered to assist in installing, otherwise, I would have chosen Ratliff.

We decided to replace the gutters rather than repair given the age of the house. I called and left a message late in the afternoon and Mike called me back the next morning, very nice and very professional. Because this was completely an outside job he said it was my choice whether or not to be home when he came by to assess the bid. Given my schedule that was great. He left the bid on my door, my husband and I discussed it and looked at the gutters ourselves again and a few days later I called and accepted the bid. Asked a couple of questions (sorry, don't remember what they were) which were answered courteously and professionally. Mike asked it I wanted to be notified when they came to do the work and I said yes. I knew the day they were coming and I work mainly from home so I got to work that morning at home and then heard my next door neighbor's dog barking. I ignored it because I was in the midst of a project but he kept barking which made me know something was going on outside. I looked out and saw nothing and went back to work. Later in the day I went to my deck to fill my bird feeders and looked up at the gutter and it was replaced! I never heard a thing, not even ladders or anything. Mike had told me that I had a warranty on the work and the gutters so I wasn't worried about the work not being done correctly. Plus, with all the rain and wind we've experienced since the work was done, I feel very confident that it was done well. Personally I was thrilled I didn't have to stop my day and oversee or watch the work being done. I felt that since I had gone through Angie's List to find them and they had such a good rating and reviews that me watching the workers do something I'm completely clueless about was a real plus. Great experience overall, would recommend to anyone!

The bid was in the middle of the bids I received. I have a ranch style home in Miami county and needed gutters replaced. The bid was $900. The warranty was 3 years. The bid I accepted was a little less than $800 and included a lifetime warranty. The man was professional and courteous.

This job went about as well as we could've hoped. The crew was here for about half a day, got the guttering installed and did a good job of clean up. The only issue was we had some trouble getting on their schedule and had to be a bit persistent with them. But the final product was worth the wait.

I asked him to please call when he came out because my husband wanted to go over things with him. I never saw anyone at our house and I just kept receiving a bill. They said they did clean the gutters but they did not call first. Then he said he would come out and take a look and meet with my husband. Again, I got another bill but that did not happen. Still waiting for him to come out. He did say they would clean the gutters again for free but I am waiting to hear back. He said he would call me in 24 hours. We will see if that happens.

Mike was very professional and upfront with us about cost and gave us several options. We agreed upon the start date. The crew came out, started the job and discovered the woodrot. I had them hold up while I had that fixed. We agreed upon the finish date. They came out and finished the job as agreed upon. This was the first time I have had to have my gutters replaced and have worked with Ratliff so it is hard to compare them. They were not the cheapest bid nor were they the most expensive but they were the most responsive.

Mike Ratliff was a pleasure to deal with when he came out to estimate the job. Jason, the installer assigned to perform the work, was also a pleasure to work with. Jason has been with Ratliff for 4-5 years and had nothing but really good things to say about Mike and his management of the company. The work Jason performed was great and it looks so much better because they don't use spacers & spikes. The hangers they used are superior to standard spikes most companies use. I had standard gutter replaced on the upper roof line and the wider 6" gutter installed on the lower roof where all of the water flowed. I solicited three bids from vendors off of Angie List. All of them were within $30 of each other for the same work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done on their gutters. I also needed a lot of soffit and fascia repair work done too. Ratliff does not perform this work but refers subs to the home owner. Their referral was very expensive. They were double the two other bids I received. I ended doing the work myself with a friend. Between paying my friend $250 and the paying for the materials, the cost was $100 less that the cheapest estimate.

Representative who came to give an estimate was very courteous and knowledgeable. He answered my questions regarding some problems with my gutters. In a couple of days I received the estimate, and upon my acceptance, the work was promptly done.

Estimate was given the same day I called. Crew arrived on the appointed day and quickly completed their work. They cleaned up completely all the debris from the gutters and took it with them. Excellent company. I will use them yearly.
