They just interested in making more money by asking me to replacre whole AC than trying to fix the problem at hand.

When I called them with a problem (pilot light went out twice in 10 days) and asked their suggestion, they explained why it'd be best to replace it. The hot water heater was 16 years old. John offered to come out the same day and gave me the price quote right away. I checked with another place and was satisfied with John's proposal. Called him back to arrange the appointment. Zack came in time to do the work. He removed the old heater and installed the new one. He also noticed the loose duct and tightend it for us. In addition, he offered to take an old broken sump pump in the basement to discard. He was personable and gave lots of information. He explained how to operate the water heater as well as answered all our questions.

They are reliable and also a little bit pricey, though I haven't done any comparison. I had a small issue with some of their work with the faucet, so I called them and they made the trips back out to correct the problem. The employee was very polite and understanding when I called him to come back. They were able to send someone out the very next day. They were very prompt. So far the new faucet is working well so they installed it properly. Even though I did have an issue with some of their work they did come right back out to fix it. I was impressed with how they handled the situation. The price is most likely competitive. I would not hesitate to have them come back out when I had more work to be done.

Started off well, no followup. I won't be calling them again.

We made a desperate call for help when our basement flooded and they were out within the hour. The person who came out was fantastic and he was happy wade through the water and get the sump pump working again. His quality of work was fantastic. We had received a lot of rain, so we knew he had several other jobs that he had to get to. He never showed that he was annoyed or in a hurry. He took his time and did an impressive job. We will definitely use this company again.

The man that came out was prompt, but really didn't seem to be very knowledgeable. He looked at my hot water heater and he didn't know what the problem was. He was no help at all. I was still charged $129 and part of that was for a diagnosis that never occurred. I wouldn't recommend them.

They were very good at first, but the larger the company got the more they tried to sell us things that we didn't need. It used to be that the annual furnace check involved a lot of different services when they came out, and now they have to reschedule for a vacuum service, and to me it seemed like they were trying to get money out me.

I would use him in the future. He was courteous and kind. He was professional while he was working. He was extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend him.

I knew we were getting ripped off when his helper, Derrick, shows up at the front door with only a spray bottle in his hand half full of blue liquid. He walked slowly to the basement, slowly to the kitchen to fill up his spray bottle, slowly back out to his truck to get a tool (A TOOL), slowly back into the house to use our hose to run some water through some part of the furnace, slowly back out to his truck to get a little box with the primary unit, slowly back into the house to put in the primary unit, slowly back out to his truck to get a screwdriver to screw in the unit, slowly back out to his truck to bring in one PIECE of duct tape (not the roll just one PIECE) to replace what he had taken off the furnace. I wish I had taken a movie of this guy! What a joke.

In fact, we got two more opinions. Both of the other companies (which were highly rated on Angie's List) told us that the furnace was fine and they had no concerns about it at all. Now we're especially upset because Polestar had told us we needed a new air conditioner last spring and we went ahead with it without getting a second opinion. The other companies said that it appeared to be installed well, but we're left feeling that it may have been an unnecessary expense! And, in looking back, I realize that they offered a "bonus incentive" to us to buy the A/C. That may have been to hurry our decision so that we wouldn't take time to get another opinion.

My thermostat is not electric. It uses batteries. It had gone out. I called them to see if it was something they could fix. They said they would call in the morning, but instead sent a service man out. In the end all that needed to be done was to have the batteries changed. They charged me $79.

SALESMAN SEEMED POLITE, BUT, LEFT WITHOUT PUTTING THE AC UNIT INTACT. HE HAD REMOVED DOORS TO LOOK AT AC UNIT AND JUST LEFT THEM ON THE GRASS. NEEDED A SCREWDRIVER TO RETURN TO PROPER POSITION. ALSO, GAVE ME DUBIOUS INFORMATION CONCERNING THE SIZE NEEDED FOR ADEQUATE COVERAGE.

THEY EVEN STOOD BEHIND THEIR QUOTE BY UPGRADING US TO A BETTER UNIT, DUE TO UNAVAILABILITY OF QUOTED UNIT.
