I had recently purchased a ranch home in May of 1999 that was built in 1960 and I didn't want to turn on the AC until they could come out to clean the ducts becasue I feared that they hadn't ever been cleaned out & I knew animals had lived there. I didn't want dust from all those years blowing into my home. They were very busy so I had to wait several weeks before they could come out. They accessed the vents through my crawl space. They were here almost all day. They said that they were quite dirty so I'm so glad I called them. Their big trucks have great suction and I felt their company did an excellent job. Much better than those that just clean out the vents with a brush from the registers. They also unscrewed each register and cleaned them. I think there was only one guy, maybe two part of the time. After 14 years, I believe my house is overdue for another cleaning which I plan to schedule this coming spring, esp. since I've had remodeling work done and am now a pet owner. They are the only ones I plan to call because I was so impressed with them the first time. The employee was very cordial. I thought they were a little high priced but once they were done, I believe it was well worth the money.

The process took an entire day - cleaning two separate systems in our home. The workers were polite and business-like. Our house was built in the mid-1980's and this work was never before done, but should have been.

Brad Kuhlman with Midwest Duct Cleaning was referred to us for his specialty in MOLD removal from Ducts and HVAC systems. He was extremely helpful and highly recommended by a Mold specialist which was a referral from Children's Mercy Hospital. He was very personable and we felt he was highly trustworthy. He did an excellent job. He is quality oriented and very knowledgeable in the area of mold removal.

I called late in the afternoon on a Friday and spoke with Jason. He explained in detail what services would be done and gave an estimate of $350. He said they could get to it on Tuesday, Sept 24th. I called Jason back on Monday morning and he scheduled us in at 8:00 on Tuesday. The crew arrived on time, maybe even a few minutes early. They were very polite and courteous and thorough and they completed the job as promised. To say I was impressed and pleased with our experience with this company would be an understatement. I would not hesitate calling them in the future and will most definitely recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone in need of such service.

They came out to give me a price and then came out to do the work. One of the guys accidently cut my water line. They immediately called out for some more guys to come out and address the problem which they fixed right up. They also cleaned up afterward.

It went very well. Prompt, very friendly and explained my questions well. I did not grade them on price, because I didn't get any other quotes to compare. $350 seemed a lot for my small home, but it probably compares to other companies. I used the Angie's List to find them.

It was excellent. e came right over, measured my current airflow at about 14mph. He snaked the long lines from my basement dryer all the way to my outside vent. When finished I had an astonishing 33mph flow. My drying time has gone from 3 hours for a load of towels to 45 minutes.

They did a great job, professional work. I would recommend them. My vents were really dusty, and they took the extra time to get them clean. Great work!

The service turned out very well and we were very pleased. The quality was very high. They were able to get in at a timely manner. They cleaned everything well after they left and cleaning the duct work is not tidy and there was very little mess when they were gone.

The two-man crew showed up on time and got right to work. The technicians were friendly and professional. Had no issues throughout the process and were really good about explaining everything they were doing. Job was completed in the time estimated. Am very pleased with the work done.

They seemed to be pretty reasonable. They did a really thorough job. They were one of the few places that could still clean our ducts because of the way our ducts are. I thought it was great. Everybody was very courteous and professional. They didn't have the proper machinery, they ended up bringing a commercial machine in because of the way our ducts were.

They were good. They seemed efficient, they left the house in as good a shape as they found it, they didn't do any damage and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again. They did fine.

Midwest Duct Cleaning appeared to do a very good job. They were timely and efficient. However, I would have definitely stuck around to oversee the work if I had it to do all over again, but this goes for any contractor I have working at my house. The reason being is not so much to critique the contractors, but to help me understand what is going on so that I know exactly what I am paying for in the process.

I liked every bit of the process. courteous receptionist on the phone. when i made the first call, i didn't even know if there was a way to coat the inside of the ducts, but i asked, hopefully, and sure enough. a technician came to my home to plan the work and provide the estimate. the 2 gentlemen that did the work were on time, neat, courteous, competent and thorough. they had a panel truck and what looked like the right, top-end equipment. They ran a 12-inch flexible duct -- like a big vacuum cleaner hose -- in through a window and sealed it tight to my air handler. on the other end out in my yard was a gas-powered vacuum unit with a large dust collection bag. they sealed vents including return vents inside the house. with the vacuum pulling air out of the house they methodically moved from one vent to the next with a variety of agitators, and compressed air to loosen debris, dust and deposits so they could be pulled out of the house. Awesome. No mess inside the house. To coat the fiberglass they had to cut three access holes. Two of them required cutting through sheetrock on the finished ceiling in my basement. When the coating process was complete they allowed me to inspect with a morror and flashlight before closing-up the ductboard. More awesomeness. Glossy, white and didn't miss a spot. Exactly as I had hoped. There was some smell, but not bad at all -- the material was a low-VOC type coating. They closed up the duct board nice and tight by replacing the same rectangular sections they had removed. They did not repair the sheetrock, but they were clear about that at the time of the estimate, and they did leave the neatly-cut sheetrock pieces to make the repair pretty straightforward. So the process was not cheap, but i didn't expect it would be. They told me that the coating process is uncommon in residential work but not so uncommon in commercial buildings. BUT -- the best $1k i've spent in a long time. really happy about the outcome.

Did a very good job of getting bird nest material as well as dust and lint from the dryer. He had to go through a number of times to ensure he got everything, but was very thorough.

Arrived on time and the two gentlemen went straight to work. Our dryer was clogged and they pulled a ton of lint from the vent, the dryer, and the pipe vented out our roof. Our dryer is working so much better now. Saved my husband $$$$ on a new dryer : )

It was very good. They were punctual, they did a really good job and my vents look cleaner than ever.

Contracted to start between 8:00 and 8:30 AM and received a call at 7:50 AM saying they would arrive at 8:30 AM. Very diligent and well organised. Men were very good at explaining what the were doing and inviting us too look and see the results. No traces of their work by the time they finished.

The ducts are much cleaner, and we have better airflow and less odor. I don't remember the exact cost but it seemed reasonable for the labor involved.

Everything went well. They were very knowledgeable and did an excellent job for a competitive price. We would definitely use them again.

It was an amazing experience. They were professional and got the work done. They didn't trample through my house. The only thing I didn't know was that they had to turn off the AC to do the duct cleaning and it was very hot because the air was off for a couple hours in the middle of the summer.

The technicians showed up at about the same time that my HVAC maintenance company did. They worked well with the HVAC technician and both were able to get their services done without interrupting the other. The technicians were very professional and thorough. I will definitely call them again next time I have the ducts cleaned.

THEY WERE PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL. DUE TO THE WAY OUR DUCT WORK IS ATTACHED TO THE WALLS THEY COULDN'T DO A COMPLETE JOB BUT THEY WERE HONEST WITH US AND DID AS MUCH AS THEY COULD. WE WERE STILL PLEASED WITH THE OUTCOME.

They were very timely. Very professional. There was a problem with our dryer when they cleaned the vent. The part was impossible to replace, so they are replacing the dryer. We find them a highly respectable company and appriciate what they did. We will have the dryer immediatly and they will take the old one.
