Description of Work: Put up drywall and painted three rooms and a closet. This was a 1907 house where the lathe and plaster had been removed, plus some new framing. I used them before for just painting so I was confident they would do a good job and they did.

Description of Work: Repainted metal roof, columns and trim. Cleaned stucco on two Gables. Matthew and his crew are meticulous. I have had countless painters through my house in the last 15 years in and houses 30 years prior. I have never had a better painter or a more delightful crew. They were 100% professional and the paint job is pristine. I am very picky about painting and there is nothing I would change about the job they did. I highly recommend Matthew. His crew has great respect for him and it is easy to see why. He doesn't cut corners and is dedicated to excellence.

Description of Work: At first, only stripped top layer of wallpaper. Called owner and he made it right by coming and helping my husband strip and wipe down all walls in preparation for painting.

Description of Work: I initially purchased four hours of wall repair/painting for $149.00. I have a large bathroom that needed quite a bit of repair/smoothing on the walls and ceiling so I arranged for Matthew to repair all walls, ceilings and paint for an additional price. I also needed new baseboards installed and Matthew's crew was able to handle that as well. The work is beautiful!! Matthew and his crew are timely, efficient, VERY easy to work with and leave the job site spotless. The price was extremely fair and I will definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List deal for this company to do 4 hours of drywall work for $149. We had half a wall in our garage and part of the ceiling that had been damaged by a roof leak over the winter and needed them to repair the drywall and ceiling. Overall, they did a great job. The wall and ceiling look nice. Mr. Steig was prompt in coming out to give me an estimate and he and his workers were prompt in arriving the day of the job. My only frustration was that the day he came to do the estimate, he told me that he really normally charges less for a half day of work than he had put in the Angie's List deal. But he said that since my job would take longer than 4 hours, it would all even out in the end. Well, that one comment has made me leary of purchasing more deals on Angie's List and question his estimate. We ended up doing more work on the garage ourself so that Matthew Stieg's company would only have to be here 1 day instead of the 2 he told me it would take - because I just couldn't tell if I was getting a good price. In addition, the number of hours you receive is not necessarily all on site at your house - some were for time spent buying supplies and then cleaning materials after the job was done.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal for the 4hrs of Painting services and truly got my money's worth. Matthew promptly called me after my purchase to discuss what I wanted done. We set up a time and he arrived exactly on time and was prepared to get to work. He removed wallpaper in a bedroom and removed popcorn from a ceiling in a bathroom. He is very knowledgable about his profession and took great care in what he was doing. He cleaned up afterward which was awesome as both jobs he did were messy projects. I will definately call Matthew again for other projects. I highly recommend him for his workmanship and attention to detail.

Description of Work: Matt repaired damaged dry wall as well as re-texturing some ceiling. He was extremely neat, fair, and proficient. My only issue is he is so good he is in high demand so schedule fast. I went several hours over my purchased time and was happy to pay the overage. It was fair and the work was pristine. Actually I would like him to do more work just not sure he has the available time. People like Matt are who you WANT to pay.
