I highly recommend Matthew Stieg Painting company! The owner was easy to get a hold of and always quick to respond. He and his team members were punctual, efficient, respectful, trustworthy and highly professional. We are incredibly pleased with the finished product and plan to hire them soon for interior housework.

I have nothing but great things to say about Matthew and his entire team. I have used them for interior painting, exterior painting and drywall repair. I really appreciate Matthew's attention to detail. As an interior designer I always recommend him to my clients and know that they will get a great product!

Absolutely the best painter I have ever had. His workers were detailed and hard working. Every night the yard was cleaned up and the paint and ladders carefully put out of sight. Matt oversees every day the work that was done, and made sure it was done correctly. It is rare to find such a combination of work ethic, fair pricing and trustworthiness.

Did not hire Matthew, but he was extremely competitive in price, just a matter of picking someone else who had a few more positive reviews on other sites. But Matthew was very prompt, and professional. Next job, will certainly have him look at and bid.

Was given Matthew's name as strong referral from builder of the porch. Project went excellent. Came on time. Finished well ahead of schedule. Painters were courteous, focused and meticulous. Matthew is a perfectionist, and it shows in his experienced crew. Matthew came on-site multiple times. He's a man of high integrity and fairness. Without being asked, he provided a credit on the invoice since they got done early; could have charged contracted price. If you want a quality painter, highly recommend Matthew and his crew.

I would of liked a little more communication. They were juggling between their scheduling and the weather but we probably went a month without hearing from them for an appointment. Their work was excellent. I was really pleased with what the result was.

They did a great job. He actually took less time than he quoted. He did not have to cut out the dry wall on part of the project and was just able to Re Rosie existing so he charged me less. Very honest and good to work with.

I enjoyed having them here to paint. They were always friendly, professional and very detail oriented. Thank you for doing a great job!

Matthew was great to work with; he submitted a bid and we made a few mutually agreed upon additions. His crew was punctual, courteous, and professional. He was on the job personally at least once each day and he and the crew were very responsive to any suggestions which we made.

We were very pleased that we selected Matthew Stieg to do this work. He and his crew were very helpful in our selection of types of paint and colors. They were very thorough in the work, giving 2 coats of paint throughout and a third coat in one room for complete coverage. The quality of the paint and the work is A-1. No spills were to be seen on floors or windows. The lines where one color meets the other were very well done. Cracks and blemishes on walls and ceilings were repaired perfectly. The crews were here for 7 days, and were alwayspunctual, polite and helpful. If we had a request for other small items to paint or clean, they did so happily. They moved furniture back in place and cleaned up everything very well.

We are very happy with all their work! Matthew is fabulous to work with and visited regularly to keep track of his crew's progress. All of the workers who came were very friendly, professional and did great work! I would hire them back in a minute!!

Having received multiple bids on our whole house repainting job, We decided to move forward the Matthew Stieg Painting. Could not have been happier with the professionalism and punctuality of Matthew and his team. Having done several home remodels in Leawood and Overland Park, KS, I would have to say the crew at Matthew Stieg painting was the most thorough I have ever seen. Their attention to detail in just prepping and taping was amazing and not one drop of paint hit the walls until Matthew himself was satisfied with the initial prep work. In addition, despite what other companies claim, Matthew Stieg painting apply a true separate two coats of high quality paint. One of his head crew, Chris, takes real pride in his trade and went above and beyond in ensuring our satisfaction. Thoughout the job which encompassed the interior of 6000 sqft home, Matthew kept in communication with us every step of the way. Would recommend them for any size paint job. In fact. Have continued to use them for additional smaller projects around the house and their excellent service remains consistent.

Matt and his team were great, always kept me up to date, and the quality was superb. He didn't try to sell me on upgrades, and gave me options on what I could do with my situation. Highly recommend.

The crew did a very professional job and everything looks great. I got three bids on this job, and since I chose them all from Angie's List I was not too worried about who would provide the best quality. Mathew had the slightly lowest bid, but the main reason I chose him was because he took the time to provide good information in his quote about what he would be doing. I also asked for quotes on doing exterior painting, and he provided a few different options.

As they did before, they came when they said they would and did all the work in a professional manner. The worker was professional and very friendly. Everything was completed in a timely manner and EVERYTHING was left cleaned up. We were very pleased with the work done. I would, and probably will use this provider again !

What a great company! Matthew came by for the estimate and except for a few lower-rated companies, had the lowest bid to re-paint the exterior of our house. Matthew was very professional and has the best communication of any contractor I have ever hired. I knew if work was delayed, on time, or anything had changed. He even called when it was raining to tell me they would not be there that day. The wood rot repair and painting was excellent. The difficulty level of our house could probably be categorized as extreme. We are on a very steep hill. From the ground to the tip of the siding on the back of our house is at least 50 feet tall and I'm not even sure how you put a ladder on a hill that steep. The painters were all very good and very professional. Over the entire house, I found one tiny spot on a window ledge that the paint coverage wasn't excellent. There were even a few spots behind bushes or hidden that I half-expected to find un-painted, but they got those areas as well. The only thing left is to see how long the paint job lasts, but so far my experience has been excellent.

They're excellent, honest and reliable. Everything was very positive so I would strongly recommend them. They got here when they said they would; they were fair, hard workers and they were very confident.

I communicated with Matt via email to work out the dates and colors. He was very prompt getting back to me and was able to confirm the week that we wanted. They showed up right on time every day which was appreciated. They did a great job on the walls and trim. My home is a little older so the walls are not in the best of shape but even so, I just requested minimal prep/repair. The prep that they did exceeded my expectations and the walls look great now. Bob was the person who did most of the work and he was very polite and professional. I had no qualms about leaving him alone in the house while I was at work. He was very particular about doing a good job and it showed. He even mentioned to Matt, the owner, that he was concerned that some of the trim needed an extra coat so he came back out a week later and did that for us. This was after I had paid. Stieg painting was one of 3 bids I had done and the price was on par with the others. Overall, I am very happy with this job and will hire them again.

Matthew and team did an incredible job. I could not be more pleased on how everything turned out. I smile every time I walk into the rooms they did.
