It went perfectly. The company responded quickly to my phone call and scheduled an appointment that fit my schedule. They were prompt and efficient. They did not try to sell me anything else. Great experience!

On time. Efficient. Offered filters, but did not have as many as I agreed to buy so he stopped by the next day and left the remainder...just like he said he would!

Our furnace began making a loud grinding noise early one afternoon. We called Ideal Air, and they sent someone out late that afternoon. I think he came by after the end of his regular workday, which we appreciated, given that it was January and we were desperate. The furnace motor had gone out, which was not an inexpensive repair. Because the needed parts couldn't be obtained that night, we did spend one chilly night in our home (thankfully it was a bit warmer out than usual for this time of year). The representative who installed the new motor was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We ended up buying a service agreement from the company as well, along with a new thermostat. It wasn't that they did a hard-core sales pitch or anything, but with the Angie's List discount and other discounts they were offering, the prices for these things weren't bad. We love the new thermostat -- our old one was manual, and having a digital and programmable one really makes a difference in keeping consistently comfortable temperature that adjusts to our needs throughout the day and night.

No problems with this company. I scheduiled for two furnaces, they came on time and did the inspections.

I purchased the furnace cleaning and tune-up coupon from Angie's List. Unfortunately the company was booked pretty full and it took almost a month for them to get there to do the cleaning. I would have liked to have received a reminder call a day or two before that they were coming, but all in all they did a great job. They were courteous and completed their task and cleaned up after themselves. Luckily, my unit looked good!

I purchased an Angie's List special for furnace and a/c cleaning and routine maintenance. My heat pump was not functioning properly but my furnace was working fine. When I called to make the appointment, they offered to do a weekend service call if it was more convenient. I didn't need a weekend appointment, so we arranged a time mid-week, giving a 2 hour window. Rick showed up exactly on time and was very thorough in checking out the entire system. He patiently answered all my questions, replaced a faulty thermostat (which made my heat pump work fine), replaced a part on the humidifier, and adjusted the air flow on the vents so that the heat could get to some of the upstairs rooms that were very cold. I thought the price was very reasonable, and I even got a coupon for a discount on future service. He was wonderful, and I would use him again and would highly recommend him.

Everything went very well. I felt like he did a very thorough inspection. Everything checked out as being in good condition and service.. I appreciate that the serviceman didn't try to hassle me to buy something else.

Richard arrived on time and did a through job of going over my furnace and air conditioner. He identified a problem with my AC that would have caused a failure in the near future and did the necessary repair and a fair price. I subsequently hire them to replace my furnace and AC with a more efficient unit. They credited me with the cost of this repair.

Richard performed a detailed inspection of my furnace and found that the humidifer was not working due to a clogged water line and that a flexible gas line had been improperly installed and was starting to be cut. He also found some cracks beginning to form in the heat exchanger and recommended replacement in the immediate future

Punctual, professional, good experience

The gentleman who came was courteous, professional, and detail-oriented. We will definitely call Ideal Air for our future heating and cooling needs. Glad I found them on Angie's LIst!

Overall it went well. The customer service lady on the phone was kind. The technician arrived on time. He did the work in a professional manner, answered our questions with great patience. He kept his work clean. The furnace works well after his work. One thing I'm not too excited about was that they tried to sell me some air filters and humidifier filters whose brand I've never heard of. I tried to look up the brand online for some reviews, no luck. So I didn't buy any. They didn't push it, which is good. Other than that, I'm pretty happy about the whole experience.

Arrived on time, performed thorough inspection, made a few adjustments. Did everything expected.

Arrived on time and spent an hour cleaning both units. Also did a visual on a wall box unit and explained to me the lack of maintenance issues with those particular units. Did not try and sell me an additional service on the unit which I appreciated.

et an appointment for furnace service. My wife made the appointment for 1pm on November 11, 2012. Ideal Air didn't show, didn't call us. We haven't received responses to several calls to the company's answering service or to the owner's cell phone. This has never happened before with a company on Angie's List that we've contacted.

The man was extremely professional and very nice. He offered me one of their specials on air filters and when I declined, there was no pressure to purchase. The only thing at all was that I had bit of time initially getting someone to call me back to schedule my appt (could have been due to the heavier time of year) and they said he would be here between and 11:00 and 12:00 and didn't get here until 12:25. But overall, very happy with the service and would use again.

Overall I was happy with the service I received and the professionalism of the company. I will call them again.

They looked at the filters. They did a nice job with the work. They came pretty close to the time they were supposed to come. They cleaned up after themselves as well.

The technician was about 30 minutes late. When I told him I had been waiting he shrugged it off as no big deal. I have a new baby so scheduling is my life. It was a big deal to me. He did spend a VERY long time trying to diagnose the problem, but I really think this was just to fool me to think he actually looked into things. In the end his solution was a new air conditioner AND furnace - even though my furnace was working. The new system would have cost $4800. I paid $80 to another company to completely fix the problem. The company that I used (who works through my home owners warranty) pointed out that they have to work hard to fix the unit without replacing because the insurance companies won't work with companies like ideal whose solution is always just to replace. This gets costly for insurance companies and owners. This is one time I will side with my insurance company. Ideal was dishonest in it's solution and I'm glad I thought to get a second opinion.

Every time I've called, they have been very prompt in going out and getting the work done. I've had one air conditioning unit in particular that has been nothing but problems. We set a date and time for the replacement. They showed up on time, did the work in the time they said they would and it all worked properly. It's a small thing, but they look professional. They wear a clean uniform and are clean cut. When they talk to you about what needs to be done, they're courteous and professional.

Routine tune up. Everything went well. Friendly, timely and professional service.

They were late and then had to reschedule. However, our weather was just turning very hot and I think their workload was much greater than they anticipated. It was no big problem. I WILL use them again! The technician was very nice and very professional!
