Ideal Air Heating & Cooling

We were out of town on a Saturday evening when we got a call from our tenant that the pilot light was out on the furnace in their home. They had overnight guests and had been gone all day and just noticed the problem about 8 pm. It was a fairly mild day but the temp inside their home was 63 degrees and the forecast was for temp in the 30s overnight and possible snow the next day, so I wanted to get something done before Monday. I had used Ideal in the past and had the tenant call them. The technician came out within the hour, diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the faulty igniter. He took the time to talk to me over the phone to explain the problem and get my credit card information, and was so pleasant and professional, even after being called out on a Saturday night. I was pleased to find out that there was no emergency or after hours charge for the weekend servicer. I would definitely recommend Ideal Air Heating & Cooling and have printed their coupon to keep on hand.

It was very good. He was pretty thorough. He was able to explain everything to me. He answered all my questions. He did a pretty good job. I would probably call them again this summer and have them come out and do another inspection on the A/C unit. It was very quick. They actually were able to fit me in earlier. They had another appointment that canceled so he was able to come by half a day sooner. They were very professional.

It went well. He was very nice, he seemed to do a good job for the service, explained what he was doing which was nice and usually what people just come in and do their job and leave but he took time to talk about everything so we were quite pleased with his service.

Like many others, we hired Ideal Air with the Angie's List coupon. All in all, it was a fine experience. The only difficulty we had was getting on their schedule. From the time we purchased the coupon, it was several days before we heard from someone to schedule the service. It didn't bother me at all that they were booked a ways out. But it would've been nice to have heard from someone a bit sooner. As for the day of service, the serviceman was very friendly and got the job done quickly. Everyone checked out fine and we had no trouble redeeming the coupon. Given that they're located near our home, we'll certainly consider them in the future.

The Big Deal shouldn't have been offered in my area. I will know to check the company's website for future Big Deal purchases. I rated an A as they were quick to respond to my Big Deal purchase and explain that they don't provide service in my county.

I used their Angie's List deal, to save $50.00 dollars off the overall inspection. The inspection itself went quite well, and the technician was friendly, knowledgable, efficient and well mannered. He also changed my humidifier filter for an extra $26.00. They now have a new repeat customer.

The service went smoothly. They did have to push my appointment back a day due to an emergency furnace install for another customer which I was perfectly fine with because they called the day before.

I've used Ideal Air twice in about three months, for a house I recently sold and for my new house. Both times I was extremely satisfied with their courtesy, price, timeliness, knowledge, service and professionalism. They are my go-to HVAC people going forward!

I went ahead and gave them an A since they did contact me. I don't want to imply their service is not fine. I just wanted to make it known that these folks only work in Kansas. Ad listing was not clear enough that this business, which is located on the Kansas side of Kansas City does not service the Missouri side of Kansas City. They emailed me in a timely fashion to let me know, but I had to call Angies list and arrange for a refund.

Richard, the owner provided the check up. He answered all of my questions and was very helpful. He cleaned the furnace, inspected the humidifier and made sure it was working and set properly and adjusted my air duct plenums to maximize the heat to the correct rooms. He did a great job and I appreciate their service.

Richard was on time, very professional and very informative. We will use this company in the future when we are ready to replace the furnace and the AC.

Richard checked out my central heating unit and changed the filter - taking the time to show me how to change the filter and how often it should be done. Was very thorough checking out heater and thermostat to insure everything was working correctly. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will use again in spring to check my ac unit.

This is the 2nd time I've used this company. The first time was for routine spring servicing of the a/c unit. I was SO impressed with their promptness, professionalism and efficiency. My service technician was Sterling Kelley and he is so knowledgeable, professional, and polite! Their prices are fair, service prompt and there is no doubt in my mind they stand behind everything they do. I can't recall the last time I've been so impressed with a business. My a/c and furnace are getting "up in years" and there's no doubt in my mind that when they must be replaced I will call Ideal Air AND request that Sterling do the work! Thanks to them and to Angie's List which brought them to my attention!

Ideal air was prompt and curteous and very informative as to what the problem was. They were able to get the system back on-line in the short term and provided some long term solutions.
