Arrived promptly and in addition to cleaning and inspecting, gave advice on repairing the outside bricks to keep them from deteriorating and not installing an insert. Seth was helpful and courteous, I would call him again.

I contacted Seth based on your reviews and arranged the appointment as soon as he was available. He was very pleasant and thorough in his work. He educated me about fireboxes, chimneys (inside and out) and the care and maintenance of my fireplaces. Also, unfortunately, about brown recluse spiders that he found dead and alive. He told me that the outside chimney area needed some work and recommended someone who could come and give me an opinion and estimate.

Extremely careful and detailed. He discovered several safety issues. He recommended and fire brick repairman who responded promptly and corrected the safety issues.

He cleaned the chimney and recommended some changes for both safety and efficiency of the fireplace. He was very professional and polite. He was also very careful to clean up after himself. He arrived on time and I was very pleased with his professional knowledge and his service.

I called for a first time cleaning in peak season after buying a used house and heard back from him a day later. Seth is a one man show so he returns all calls and schedules his appointments in between cleanings. Very friendly, clean and thorough. Would definitely recommend his services and plan on using him again next year.

Seth was awesome. He really knows anything and everything chimney related. He was very honest and told me that I should probably really have only gas logs from now on--knowing that I would not ever need a chimney sweep again (if I got gas logs)! I took his advice and will refer him on to other people I know.

Seth arrived on time and promptly went to work. He inspected the chimney interior for cracks in the mortar and pointed out to me what he discovered. He also brought to my attention some potential fire hazards during his visit that we immediately addressed. Overall I was very impressed with his service and would certainly use him again.

They were very prompt on getting there on time. He cleaned up when he was finished working. He was very courteous when he was there working. He had to reschedule cause of the weather, and called me right away.

Seth arrived as promised and on time. He alerted me to several fire hazard issues and explained the interworking of my fabricated fireplace, noting cracks that need to be filled, and the panels and grate that need to be replaced. Seth explained that the temperature of the fires I am burning far exceed the limitations of what can safely be burned for the type of fireplace that I have. He recommended a couple of options but the best one for me would be to have gas logs installed, even though this option means that I would not need his services in the future. Seth was knowledgeable and efficient and I highly recommend him!

Made the appointment a week from the day we called to book it. Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable. Provided more than just the cleaning since Seth advised on next steps we should take to ensure safely having a fire in the fireplace this winter.

The owner answered the phone when I called (unusual). He came to the house within the hour, assessed our chimney dilemma and offered several different courses of action to solve our problem. We frequently have birds building nests inside our ancient chimney and then falling into our fireplace, so we needed a cleaning and chimney caps. On Seth's advice, we decided to clean the chimney later in the fall when the most recent "bird casualty" had "returned to dust."(ugh!) Apparently, to remove an animal corpse from a chimney requires a respirator, special procedures, and can get quite expensive. I appreciated especially his promptness, candor, and knowledge of his craft.

He was very prompt, courteous, and honest. Showed up when he said he would and performed his job in a professional manner.

He gave me some recommendations for repairs I needed done. He did a very good job with his work. He went above and beyond by letting me know what else needed to be done with my chimney. He was punctual and cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend him.

This experience was a totally necessary education for me in terms of safety aspects of fireboxes in old homes, chimneys, and old ceramic heaters. I was given a good referral to a terrific masonry contractor who followed up by completing repairs inside the firebox and outside on the chimney cap.

THE WORK COMPLETED WAS OF GOOD QUALITY AND THEY ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE ON SUBJECT MATTER, BUT THEY WERE SLOW TO RETURN PHONE CALLS AND TO GET THE WORK COMPLETED.
