Sean was polite and knowledgeable. His quote was a little higher than others but not a lot. I would have considered hiring him, but a friend is going to do the job. I will keep his name and number for future projects.

Shawn gives you a feeling of confidence. He seems like one of the most honest professional young men that I have ever worked with.

It took 15 business days from start to finish and the only small issue I had was that his crew could have done a better job controlling for dust when sanding drywall. I pointed this out to Shawn and he agreed with this, and had a couple of cleaning ladies come in and clean up. I highly recommend Done Right Contracting. Shawn Gordanier is a conscientious and meticulous contractor and he will bend over backwards to please you.

Went very well. Needed the job done quickly and they worked me in the next day. When a problem was encountered, they did a great job of taking care of it.

This company is properly named. Shawn did the work exactly according to his contract; on time and on budget. The fireplace looks great and it was a pleasure working with Shawn.

Tried to get some contractors out to look at the project, did not get many responses. I joined Angie's List and found Shawn's company; saw that he had good reviews. I contacted him, and he promptly came out and gave us a bid on the project. I got a few other bids as well, shawn was in the middle as far as price was concerned, but I liked his attitude about the project and his professionalism. We scheduled the job, he started on time as promised and wrapped up in a few days. Overall the project went very smooth.

He came immediately to look at it. It took him longer to get to the job than he originally told me but once he came they did good work. His painters didn't speak much English and that caused some communications problems. He also added to his original bid by $1,500 and that sort of bothered me and the fact that he came to collect the money before the work was done also was troubling to me, but they finished the job and redid some things that were not right. He did an excellent job on the tile and sheet rock.

Shawn was very responsive from start to finish. His bid was fair, and his work ethic impressive. He and his crew cleaned up every day, and made sure that the project was completed as quickly as possible. He also called several months after the project was completed to make sure everything was still working well and looking good.

Shawn was punctual, courteous, professional, and honest. He quickly noticed the problem and recommended how I could fix it, even though it meant no work for his company. I will definitely call Shawn for future work.

I spoke to Sean twice in the last week. Both times he told me that he would come by to get information for an estimate later that day. He did not show up or call either time.

I called Shawn mid day to schedule an appointment for a bid. He happened to be in the area and came by within 30 minutes of the call. He measured the kitchen and said that he would have a bid to me in the next few days. The next evening I had an email bid and a follow up phone call. I decided then and there that Done Right would get our business. Shawn was always available when I called and was very flexible in working with our ever changing schedule. Even making sure that our work was completed in time for Thanksgiving when we had other contractors pushing our schedule out. All work started early in the morning and right on time. There were no issues with any of the work. Gary and Robert were very polite and neat. Each day the site was left clean. We couldn't be more pleased with the results of their work. Everyone who comes into the kitchen always comments on the floor and back splash. They are beautiful. I would not hesitate to use Done Right contracting again. You shouldn't either!

Shawn came out to look at the work we wanted to do in both bathrooms, we talked, and he said he would send us an estimate. Four weeks have gone by and we still have not received any word or estimate. Called Shawn once after two weeks had gone by, and he said he was waiting on plans or cost of something and would get the estimate to us as soon as possible. So far, no word. I don't think we will be using Done Right for any work in the future.

Initially I had a hard time getting in touch with him. I finally got ahold of him. He explained his situation and did come out to give me a bid. He is nice and professional. I am waiting to hear the final price before deciding if I will hire him.

Shawn Gordanier, the owner, was very prompt in giving us an estimate and very professional in giving us the details and giving us a chance to ask questions. He submitted, with maps, several tile outlets for us to pick out our tile which was also helpful to me. The work was done professionally, and there was a minimum of disruption to my home. We knew exactly what was being done and what would be done the next day. The people that helped him were courteous and did their utmost to keep my house clean. After the job was done, Shawn stopped by the house/called several times to see if we were happy with the work. He promptly came by to touch up some caulking that needed to be done. It was very difficult to get a date set up to begin the work. I was pleased with the final result. But, I felt they had little regard for my house. They did not seem to take care of things unrelated to the job. I had to have them repair things that they damaged. Shawn was very willing to be sure that I was happy with the job.

Shawn and his workers were polite and mostly on time; the second day they did not arrive when they said they would, and I had to call Shawn to find out their schedule. Their work was more than satisfactory and came in fairly close to the estimate; since this was a sub-floor repair, the true extent of the damage was not known until they tore up the existing floor. The bathroom looks great now and I would hire Shawn's company again. Reasonably priced and they offer a 10% Angie's List discount.

We explained to Shawn our thoughts for the project, & he suggested some alternatives, which we were pleased with. He gave us info on suppliers, their location, & he said he would get back to us with his estimate. After several weeks I phoned him to find out the status of his bid, & he said he would be back in touch. Several days later he phoned & asked us to take a look at 2 other soaking tubs. We looked at them on a Saturday, & phoned him back to tell him we wanted to go with our original selection. About two weeks later we set up an appointment to go over the bid. The day of the appointment he called at the last minute & cancelled. He told my wife to call on Monday & he would reschedule; two weeks later I sent an email to see if he forgot. He replied he would call the next day to set the appointment. He called & said he would arrive 5 PM to 7 PM, but call by noon that day to give a firm time, no call back from him for a specific time. At 4 PM I called & cancelled the meeting.

Sean or workers were often later than what they said they would be to our home. Because of this, to complete the job, they stayed late on the final day. It was a very messy job to take out the tile that was in the fireplace and entry. They tried to contain the dust with tarps and blowers. I expected to have a dusty house, and I got what I expected. Workers were polite. Price was comparable to other bids, and he had a coupon for a discount. Would I use this company for other jobs? Yes, absolutely.

The outcome of our remodel was fabulous. Shawn was able to give us excellent ideas with all aspects of the job and referred us to very qualified companies to choose tile, countertops, etc. The work was done in a timely manner and Shawn was very good in communicating with both me and my husband as the job progressed. We would highly recommend Done Right Contracting and will definitely use this company on other remodel projects.

Shawn is still the greatest. He is hopefully going to be starting on replacing the windows in my basement, new doors & screen doors throughout house, also new woodwork. Then we will tackle the kitchen. Since I have problems making a final decision until such time as I'm totally confident that my choice is the right one, we have problems making things happen in a timely way. I am impressed at his patience, creativity, & honesty. (Colorful is his nice way of saying scatterbrained). You see, Shawn is not only an excellent worker, he is caring of his customers & making them happy with the finished product. His employees are excellent & just as great as he is. The extra mile sometimes ends up the extra miles & miles. I need to conserve my dollars & Shawn is great about working with me to get a good product & a job done well but still within a price range I feel comfortable with. I'm ready to get started with our upcoming projects & hope Shawn is available soon to get started.

Shawn was very personable and honest. He was very knowledgeable about tile and the other areas that I needed done. His workmanship was excellent.

Another fine job done by Shawn and his crew. (They had previously replaced a bathroom counter-top at my home.) Also I am a wheelchair user and the only way in and out of my house is through the kitchen. Shawn and his crew went out of their way to make sure I was able to get in and out of the house.

After scheduling an appointment to bid a large remodel, Shawn did not show, nor did he call to say he wasn't going to be available. After waiting three days to see if he would follow up, I called back. He said it "had been crazy", and wanted to reschedule! Given the unreliable way in which the original appointment had been handled, with no phone follow up, I chose not to be further involved with Done Right.
