Description of Work: Purchased Electrolux clothes washer 2 years ago from Nebraska Furnituremart with 5 yr warranty. It had a bad leak. Called on Sunday night. They scheduled for Tuesday and said 7:30am that morning they'd call to confirm and announce a 2 hour window that they would arrive. They did call and asked if they could be there at 8am or later. I said 8 am was fine, which they did show up at that time. It took about 15 min to diagnose it was a bad drain hose. Tech called parts dealers around and said there was only 1 part available in kc area. He picked up and returned in 30 min. It took about 30 min to complete the repair and he showed us the hole in the hose. It was covered under warranty and glad no copay or other charges from the NFM warranty.

Description of Work: This is the 7th time we've had to use Turner because our warranty company sets up the service call. Only once in these visits has an appliance actually been repaired. This is our last time using them (called Assurant to ensure this), as one technician was rude and unprepared. I told him that the washer holds water every several washes, he cleared a few coins from the trap and ran a short wash; announced it fixed. I know he couldn't have run several loads, but I was certain that the coins weren't creating such a major issue and asked if he was sure, whether this was the only troubleshooting measure. Yes. I ran bleach in the tumbler AS HE DIRECTED once he left, to clear the odor...it filled with suds and drained to the floor! And...held the last bit of water without draining!! Meanwhile, another technician on the phone with Maytag (I already spoke with them...) claimed that our stoves motherboard was out, a $300 repair...I declined. It was not the motherboard we found later. Awful.

They had to come out 4 times and they never got it fixed. They ordered the wrong part and they finally just gave up and said that they couldn?t help me anymore and they would give my money back for the service call.

They were responsive and sent somebody out within a couple of days. They were able to fix the stove the very first time and explained what had happened. It turned out to be a manufacturer?s defect and they called the manufacturer and had the part to be paid for. For the dishwasher, he had to come out 8 times before he finally fixed it but it was not his fault. He convinced the manufacturer to pay for all the parts. The labor was very minimal. He was punctual and called the night before, to let me know when he was coming. He was very professional, polite and did not make a mess.
Description of Work: They repaired my stove and my dishwasher.

The serviceman was prompt, called ahead to let me know he was on the way, diagnosed the problem and replaced the main control panel for the refrigerator. Because we have a service contract for the refrigerator, this was repaired at no cost. Afterwards, I researched the problem with this model of refrigerator and discovered that bad control panels are a very common and difficult consumer issue. Consumers have had difficulty in getting prompt service for faulty control panels, causing problems with ice melting, food spoiling, etc. I was grateful I didn't experience any delays with service, that the problem was diagnosed immediately, and repaired on the spot. I would call this company again.
Description of Work: Diagnosed problem and replaced main control panel on Maytag side-by-side French door refrigerator. We have a service contract for our Maytag refrigerator, and the contracting agency submitted the work order to Turner Consumer Service Co. We had no choice about which repair company to choose. Shortly (within two hours) after I reported the problem (blinking control panel lights, flapping ice maker paddle) to the service contracting agency, a representative from Turner contacted me and arranged for a serviceman to come the next day.

When we first ran the dishwasher, it made a noise for 10 sec. and then ran quietly. It cleaned the dishes perfectly. The morning of the 4th day our parquet floor began to buckle and water seeped up when we stepped on it. The owner came promptly the next day and discovered that the blade on the pump was seizing causing the water to run out of the machine. But instead of running out onto the floor, it ran underneath the built-in dishwasher and down around the drain pipe into the basement. It was also soaking into the sub-floor without any initial indication anything was wrong. We had water in our basement due to torrential rains the day before the repairs were made, so we didn't make the connection. The owner said the floor would pop back into place when dry. When we contacted him after that did not happen, he was rude and claimed the damage was our responsibility for operating a defective machine.
Description of Work: Called them to check dishwasher which was making a loud noise. The technician came and discovered a large piece of wire, like a broken part of a spring stuck in the pump. Removal of the wire greatly reduced the sound, but the technician was clear that the pump motor was going bad. He ran the washer through its cycle several times. He stated that they would have to order the part and gave me an estimate on the cost of the part and repair. He said I had 30 days to contact them for the estimate to remain valid. I told him that we would have to consider whether or not it made more sense to repair the machine or replace it and I asked him if it was safe to run the dishwasher in the meantime. He was clear that it was safe, that the most that could happen is that it would give out completely and that if the noise continued just run it after we went to bed. The young man who worked on the machine was prompt and courteous.

Troy the last technician was very nice.
Description of Work: Company came out several times in April and May to work on my whirlpool refrigerator, to address flow issues on the in-door water dispenser. When the second valve leaked all over my floor and caused damage into my basement the technician responding told me that his boss would contact me on getting an estimate to fix the damage. I had to call them to get them to come out again, and they acted like they had never heard of my complaint, despite it being listed on the work orders. The owner?, Tony, was very rude when he and the technician came out again they said the damaged was from the part? They took pictures and told me they would get back to me in two weeks. I had to follow up 5 weeks later, after I already had to have my kitchen floor replaced. They them told me I had to call Whirlpool directly!
