Good installation and everything went as planned. The problem is getting them back to make repairs. I have had to call them back 3 times to replace various sections due to normal wear, and not from any defects or problems with workmanship on their part. In each instance, it has taken multiple calls and broken promises of when they will show up before I can even get an estimate, let alone any actual work from them. It has taken several months to get them to actually show up and fix it, and then they charge me a ridiculous amount. They don't reuse anything, even when the material is still good, and they just slap in a whole new section of fence, even if all it needs is a new post or a few boards.

Overall, it went pretty well. Chris Burge is a wonderful representative of the company, and though they were a bit higher in price, we felt that they would be worth it. The fence looks great, and is what we were looking for. The only concern I had with them was that their communication was not the best once the job started. The workers would simply finish for the day, and we would not know when they were to return. The fence is great, if they could communicate their plans with the customer a bit better, this would have been a great experience!

This company was incredible to work with. They were prompt in coming to my house and giving an estimate that was competitive. They offered options and details that other companies had not offered in bids on the same project. Then they worked with the landscaping company on this project and installed within 24 hours of the call that it was needed. They followed up after their one day installation time.

I was given a bid and submitted acceptance. They did not hear from the company for 3 months. They asked to come out and rebid. They were rude and complained about all the obstacles. In my presence, they discussed ways to cut corners. etc. I did not use them for my fencing because of their tactless behavior. In a way they did me a favor as their bid was 2000 higher than the next highest bid.

They cut our cable on the first post, didn't line up with our neighbor's fence and had to re-do after we made several phone calls, and there was another big design/post placement error that we caught that took several phone calls to get resolved. Charged us $600 to spray stain and the guy came on a cold windy day - don't know if this is why the finish looks bad/spotty 2 years later. Back gate very uneven (big gap)VERY HARD to get the the foreman/co-owner on the phone - husband had to go to the office finally. They crew just didn't seem to have much common sense or just didn't care about the finished product.

Never hired them to build the fence because they didn't send the paperwork to sign. Responsiveness was horrible. Decided to go with another company for similar price.

BURGE ITSELF DID A FINE JOB. WE WERE DISAPPOINTED IN AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR THEY HIRED TO PLACE A STAIN TREATMENT ON THE FENCE. THE MAN WAS ILL TEMPERED WHILE DOING HIS JOB AND USED FOUL LANGUAGE. HIS WORK WAS SLOPPY AND HE STAINED PARTS OF THE HOUSE AND THE AIR CONDITIONER.

EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE WORK. EVERYONE - FROM SALESMAN TO WORK CREW - WERE PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. EXCELLENT CRAFTSMANSHIP.

NOT A HAPPY EXPERIENCE. THEY DAMAGED OUR DRIVEWAY. THEY MIXED CONCRETE ON IT AND LEFT FOUR TIRE INDENTATIONS ON IT. WE HAD ASKED THEM NOT TO PARK THEIR HEAVY TRUCKS ON THE DRIVEWAY BECAUSE IT WAS RECENTLY POURED. WE SHOWED THEM WHERE TO PARK. THEY ALSO DID NOT PUT UP THE TEMPORARY FENCE THEY PROMISED (WE HAVE DOGS).

HORRIBLE. BURGE DID NOT MATCH UP THE FENCE TO THE BACK FENCE WHICH ALLOWED MY DOGS TO GET OUT. WHEN I CALLED TO REPAIR, HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. THEN, THEY PUT A POST THROUGH A SPRINKLER PIPE WHICH DAMAGED MY WHOLE SPRINKLER SYSTEM AND HE REFUSED TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE.

HE WAS LATE FOR HIS APPOINTMENT FOR AN ESTIMATE. NO WORK WAS PERFORMED, BECAUSE THEY NEVER CALLED BACK AFTER MEASURING.

I WAS GIVEN AN ESTIMATE ON MAY 25. I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE NO PROBLEM TO HAVE MY FENCE INSTALLED WITHIN 2 WEEKS. I MADE IT CLEAR THAT I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO HAVE IT DONE BY THAT DATE, BECAUSE I COULDN'T MOVE INTO MY NEW HOUSE UNTIL IT WAS DONE. IT HAS NOW BEEN 50 DAYS AND THE JOB IS STILL NOT COMPLETE. THE FENCE WAS FINISHED ABOUT A MONTH AFTER THE ESTIMATE, BUT THE WOOD TREATMENT WAS NEVER DONE. I HAD TO MAKE NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS AND BADGER MANAGERS TO GET MY WORK DONE WITHIN A MONTH, MUCH LESS 2 WEEKS. THERE WERE MANY BEAUTIFUL, SUNNY DAYS THEY COULD HAVE COME AND TIMES THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME AND DID NOT. THE PRICE WAS FAIR, THE PEOPLE WERE FRIENDLY, AND THE FENCE IS BEAUTIFUL. HOWEVER, DON'T BELIEVE A WORD YOU ARE TOLD REGARDING WHEN YOUR JOB WILL BE COMPLETE AND BE PREPARED TO HAVE TO MAKE A LOT OF PHONE CALLS TO GET YOUR JOB DONE ONCE THEY HAVE HALF OF YOUR MONEY (THEY REQUIRE HALF UP FRONT).

TIM RUHL IS INDIVIDUAL USED FOR THEIR FENCE REMOVALS. HE DID AN EXCELLENT. TURN-KEY JOB, ON TIME AND AS PROMISED. HE ALSO UNDERBID TWO OTHERS I HAD BIDS FROM. HE EVEN COORDINATED WITH A THIRD PARTY WHO WANTED TO RE-PURCHASE THE FENCE FROM US. RUHL DISPOSED THE WASTE AND CLEANED UP THE SITE WELL.

REPAIRED A SECTION OF FENCE THEY HAD JUST INSTALLED A FEW YEARS BEFORE. THEY DO GOOD WORK, BUT THEIR PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS.

SALESMAN WAS FRIENDLY AND EASY TO DEAL WITH. I WASN'T ALWAYS SURE THE STATUS OF THE PROJECT ONCE IT GOT STARTED. UNFORTUNATELY THEY HIT SEVERAL UNDERGROUND ITEMS, SPRINKLER LINE AND ELECTRIC LINE, DON'T KNOW IF THIS MIGHT HAVE BEEN AVOIDABLE. FENCE LOOKS GREAT.

COMPLETED WORK ON TIME. PERFECT CLEAN UP.

THE COMPANY WAS RESPONSIVE, PUNCTUAL, AND DID QUALITY WORK. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WERE ON TIME, THEY RETURNED OUR CALLS, THEY HAD PRETTY GOOD CRAFTSMANSHIP, THEY FINISHED IT IN TIME.

THEY PUT FINISH STAIN AND WATER REPELLENT ON THE WOOD DECK.
