Description of Work: We use them for pest control. I have a maintenance contract for them to come out every three months, but we pay $180 for the year.

+ -1 moreFirst visit was good, Billy placed everything in detail. However, additional service calls are through the toll free number. I had to call a couple of time before they would send someone over. I wish they used stronger chemicals outside the house because water bugs come back in just 2 weeks.
Description of Work: Annual contract to pest control inside and outside of the house every 3 months. Put chemicals around the foundation, mouse trap, and a spider glue trap.

+ -1 moreI think they go through people like they do water because for the last two years I ve had a different serviceman comes out every time. I have had them come out for ants several times this summer and then had to call them to come back. I bought some spray from a hardware store that was more effective than their treatments. I think they are overpriced. They give you a four hour window for appointments and I don t think that is too punctual. If they improve their service I will use them in the future.

+ -1 moreEverything went down hill. They would show up late and they would smell like the chemicals. If I hadn't seen them at my house I wouldn't be able to tell they did anything. It went from a local person on the phone to a 1-800 number. We got wasps before my daughters wedding and I called repeatedly and they were supposed to get in touch with the management and they never came.
Description of Work: I had a contract with another company and they sold their company to Terminix.

+ -1 moreI agreed to meet with them. Inspector Don McElroy was on site 30 minutes early before the present appointment time although I advised I would not be available until the appoint time. He was rude, pushy, griping about how far he had to go to drive home and that I wasn't home. He had already pulled the bait system out of the ground without approval or permission and I felt coerced into signing up for the annual process. Then, he refused to answer my question about whether I would receive a refund for my remaining time on the old system which I had already paid for. Don't use this company!
Description of Work: Company initially put in termite control system in 2001 with quarterly checks on the in-ground bait system. Recently, company has contacted me to move to a new process where they just check annually.

+ -1 moreI would not use this company again. It took multiple calls to get a response to my question and my request. They were very responsive when my contract was up for renewal. I wanted them to remove the old bright green lids of the bating stations after they had installed new brown stations. They had left some of the old ones there. In my first call, they said the ground was too frozen to be able to remove them and they would come back when the ground was thawed. They never came back despite multiple calls and messages for 4 or 5 months. Yearly charge.

+ -1 moreMy experience with them was beyond horrible! Their inspector came out poked a hole in my wall and said he didn't see any termites and they never showed up on time. They installed an underground bating system that I don't think worked. I wouldn't use them again or recommend them to anyone! I canceled the contract with them and the bottom line is that I'm out $1,000 and still have termites while getting horrible customer service in the process.

+ -1 moreAwful company that is just out for money. When a problem arises they disappear! Beware!
Description of Work: Terminex preformed the termite inspection on our house before we bought it. They stated that there was no damage and gave us a guarantee. The guarantee means nothing because we have more than our fair share of termite damage. We ripped off 3 walls in our kitchen and now have to have a contractor come to clean, repair and assess for further damage. When we contacted Terminex they sent out the Service Manager who told us we had 7-8 years worth of damage and that it is very obvious. He also said that if the damage was not on the graph that they would be liable and now he says they are not. Please do not use this company they just want your money!

+ -1 moreAFTER DOING RESEARCH WE FOUND TERMINEX TO HAVE THE MOST UP TO DATE METHOD OF DEALING WITH TERMITES. WE DID NOT HAVE TERMITES, BUT OUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR DID SO WE TOOK PREVENTIVE MEASURES. TERMINEX HAS LIVED UP TO THEIR END OF THE BARGAIN.
Description of Work: WE RENEWED OUR CONTRACT WITH TERMINEX TO MONITOR THE TERMINITE BAITING TRAPS THEY PLANTED IN OUR YARD. THEY CHECK THEM PERIODICALLY AND GIVE US A WRITTEN REPORT.
