Neal Harris Service Experts

I called to schedule two plumbing repairs, and was told I could use the coupon I had received in the mail. (I have used NH for plumbing before and liked them.) Then I mentioned I had an HVAC service contract with Neal Harris and wanted to know the renewal date, and they transferred me to someone else to confirm that. That person also encouraged me to use the coupon, and also said there was a coupon online. The plumber came and fixed both very quickly. I was then told the charges would be $250, which was just for adjusting the sink stopper (the toilet was under warranty because they had installed it and sold it to me.) Plus, he said I could not use a coupon. I was really mad (not at him, at the company) and the plumber called in to double-check the pricing. He said that it would have been $350 without my service contract! Neither coupon mentioned service contracts but did say "not for use with any other discount." I had no idea my HVAC contract was considered a "discount," and I was encouraged to use the coupon. Plus, why were they sending coupons to customers who could not use them??? The good news is that Neal Harris, after I complained, refunded part of my money because of the misunderstanding. I still value their professionalism, but I think their plumbing charges are way out of line with normal.

They are reliable and some of the service technicians are knowledgeable than others. So it depends on who you get. I would continue to use them.

The work went fine. The representative was good and he did good work for us.

I was able to get an appointment the next day. They provided a two hour window and the technition called at the beginning of that window and said he would be there in about 15 minutes. The whole service call took 45 minutes from diagnosis to replacing the ignitor, to cleaning my furnace and telling me about the overall health of my system. Very professional. Neal Harris will be getting all of my HVAC business in the future and I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

We have always gotten good service from them. They are very responsive. It was an emergency call and they kept us up-to-date about when they would be out.

They are very professional and their people are very knowledgeable. They are always very concerned about being clean and just doing the job right. They take good care of my furnace and air conditioner. They explain everything that they are doing and seem to be very trustworthy.

I didn't pay them anything for their last visit, as it was a service deal. I am happy with them and that's why I keep using their services and would be using them in the future as well.

They got the furnace started up. Their responsiveness was good. The quality of their work was good.

Did not get any further than an estimate ($1100+). That was about $200 more than what I thought was a reasonable price. I would however call them again for plumbing needs to at least get a price. Plumber that came out was professional and got right to the point. They also showed up very early in the time window which is a huge plus in my book.

They were very thorough and professional. They came out and put in the units and did a nice job with it. They cleaned up very well after themselves, as well.

It is a company so it depends on whom they send. Generally the people they have sent were professionals that new what they are doing. I do not know if they are comparable in price because we have always been happy so we haven't shopped around. They are more available when you have a problem if you have a contract.

After we called they were able to schedule us in for the very next day. They came out, inspected and replaced the damper handle, and then helped us adjust the dampers to get better cooling to the second floor, an issue we've been struggling with. They even went above and beyond by giving us a quote to installing some venting into a separate room upstairs - a project we'd been thinking of doing but haven't yet tackled. Because they walked us through the process of what it would take to make that venting addition and quoted us a great price to install it, we're going to move forward with installing that, which hopefully make our home even more comfortable. All in all, our serviceman was professional, timely, easy to work with, and did a great job walking us through what he saw that was wrong and what he could do to help make it better. We were even excited for the great price we got! We highly recommend them.

I called about 2:00 PM on a HOT July Saturday. They were at my house at 6:00 PM the same day. I was amazed at the quick response. The problem was properly diagnosed, and the appropriate amount of freon was added to my system. The company representative was very professional and personable. I will definitely use Neal Harris again!

First, they installed a new AC/Heating unit for me at a reasonable price. Then for the rest of the years, I was on their yearly maintenance plans. It may seem like an extra cost you don't need, but for me it was worth it. I loved knowing that one of the most expensive pieces of equipment in my home was being maintained properly. They were always prompt for the appointments, polite and happy to explain what they were doing, and the main office and billing departments are wonderful. When I went to sell my house, it was a great asset to be able to show that I'd used a great company like Neal Harris and had records of every maintenance appointment. I highly recommend Neal Harris.

They were patient and did good quality work. Their price was reasonable as well. They also cleaned up once the job was done.

Their workmanship was exemplary. The workers were very clean and polite. They cleaned up after themselves and did everything that needed to be done.

They are prompt and seem to know what they're doing. They put in a heat pump for us two or three years ago.

Neal Harris Service Experts gave me three options that we could pursue. They came out the same day that we called them and they have been very professional.

They were very good. They paid attention to detail. They explained what I should be concerned about in the future. For all they did I feel that the price was a bargain. It was an overall good experience.

I had several problems with Neal Harris Service Experts, when they came to put in my furnace. When they came to put in my furnace, they accidentally cut one of my circuits. I called them and told them there had to be something wrong. They sent an electrician over, who traced the circuit and put a new wire out for that particular circuit. That took 2-3 more hours of my time to solve a problem that they caused. They did respond to it and payed for it, but it was such an inconvenience. They weren't careful enough to avoid damaging those wires. After they installed it, I had problems with excessive noise and circulations. I just felt that was not right with the system. Someone had to come back and adjust the system. The original installation was not done well. I had to have 2 additional visits to get the system to where I was satisfied with it. This was a real dissapointment, because in the past they were always really good. I used to never have problems with this company.

He was very nice, polite and kind. He brought covers for his shoes so that the house would not be messed up with the snow. I really enjoyed having him here at the house. The price listed includes a $30 coupon. I would absolutely hire him again.

Great. Came to my home within hours (while others promised me later that night or the next day), was conscious of cleanliness. Did a great repair, but what was best, was that I wanted to learn, and he was willing to teach. He answered all of my 'blond'-type questions, as well as provided me with helpful advice.
