The Service Tech Andrew Purdon (3197863) showed up to perform the Spring service call on our furnace and A/C system. Andrew was punctual, arriving at the prescribed time. He was professional, explained what he was performing, and very thorough. Andrew took the time necessary to check all of the systems on the house. He also asked questions, and provided alternative solutions to issues we have at the home. All in all, my wife and I are pleased with the work that Andrew provided.

The annual contract maintenance visit for AC unit was easy to schedule. The technician (Lora, #197751) arrived on time and performed the work in a professional and timely manner. One issue - Service Experts installed Furnace/Heater stopped working the day before. When we contacted the Service Expert, we were told that the technician who would come for annual AC maintenance would also check and diagnose the problem with the heater unit. However, this conversation was not noted in their system. Therefore, not communicated to the service technician who had come. This led to some confusion around the scope of work to be performed. The technician was skilled at servicing the AC unit only, which she did well. Subsequent visit to fix the issue regarding the heater/furnace was promised by the supervisor but never followed through.

Lora was very professional and personable. She was on time and did the work expected in about 45 minutes. We need some unexpected repairs, but Lora was great about explaining the work that needs to be done. Repairs will take place next week.

As part of the "Plus Service Plan," a Neal Harris Service Experts technician comes twice a year to check, service & maintain my AC (in Spring) and Furnace (in Fall). This plan is necessary to keep my warranty valid, but I would do it anyway as a good practice. Technician Lora #197602 serviced my AC & Furnace on 3/24/15. She was professional, friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. I had received a call from Neal Harris Service Experts a few weeks prior to remind me it was time for my systems to be checked. When I called back, they were able to schedule an appointment the following afternoon. That day, I received a call from their dispatcher stating that their technician was ahead of schedule and asked if it would be okay if they came an hour before the scheduled window of 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Lora #197602 arrived 15-20 minutes later at approximately 3:00 pm and was finished about 30-40 minutes later. She checked the electrical & mechanical systems of my Furnace and AC and then finished by removing the outer casing of the AC unit and hosed off the grill inside. When done, everything was reassembled and in good working order. While inside, the technician wore protective booties over her shoes to prevent tracking dirt into my house. She finished by going through the paperwork with me and explained everything she did as well as made suggestions (not a sales pitch, but informative) like reminding me to replace the filter (which I take care of because I can buy the filters less expensively at the hardware store). In addition, I was given a promo code to join Angie's List at a discounted rate of $6 for a 1 year membership and "To show you our appreciation, we would like to offer a $50 gift certificate for completing a review, you just have to mention our tech and this number in the body of the review." Overall, excellent service. I have been a customer of Neal Harris for 19 years (even before they installed a new AC, Furnace & all new air ducts 5 years ago) and plan to continue.

Jeffrey #196122 came to our house on time and did a Performance Inspection and Performance Tune-Up on our 2 year old HVAC system. He offered advice on ways to make our system more efficient and got us all set for the warm season. We have been customers of Neal Harris Service Experts for quite a few years and continue to be very pleased with their service.

The hot water tank had been leaking in the basement for several days. Then all of a sudden water gushed out from the bottom of the water heater. I called Neal Harris and they told me how to shut off the water. Ryan came right out and put in a new water heater. He also put in an expansion tank that will help protect the other appliances from water pressure. The water heater looks great. He helped clean up the mess and removed the old unit. The water is hotter and this should help lower my utility bill.

They have been very good and keep us up to date. They have always been prompt, courteous, professional, eligible and knowledgeable. They are good service people. Price-wise they have been comparable.

Our tech for this visit was Jeffrey #197180 who has been our tech on some of the prior visits as we are a long time customer of Neal Harris. He noticed that our filter needed replacing and took care of that. Also scheduled a replacement of our gas valve as the gas valve pressure test screw is stripped out. Handled 3 renewal for our service contract.

Chris Brown (#205) (#197004) went over and above on a cold and rainy day, spending the time to find a leak in the AC, which should have been done last year. He also inspected the water heaters, CO detectors, furnace and humidifier. He recommended a plumbing inspection and set it up for the next day. Neal Harris has been our service provider for 17 years, installing furnace, AC, and water heater over the years. I highly recommend these professionals!

I woke up and my house was like 50 degrees. I called Neal Harris and they sent a technician named Danny out right away. He not only told me what was wrong with my furnace he also educated me on the overall condition of it. I elected to replace it rather than fix it because it was 15 years old. They installed a new furnace that same day to make sure my family and I would be warm that night. The experience was very pleasant. I would recommend Neal Harris to anyone looking for a good contractor. The technicians are very knowledgeable and professional.

Job #1031 was done quickly and professionally by Todd and Dalton. Todd arrived right on time and started the project and Dalton and rest of crew arrived shortly after with equipment. Work was done neatly and mats were used in all walkway areas. Every thing was left clean and tidy.

It was great from start to finish, from the call to the office to all the work Corey had done at my house, it was the easiest dealing with a heating and cooling company i have used yet! will always use them!

Their technician showed up within the specified time frame - this was after a friendly reminder call last week noting that it was time to perform AC maintenance. The Technician was friendly, courteous and went right to work. Everything was in great shape and it all took about 45 minutes.

#11010 Andrew #123,Jacob #208, Alfonso #31 did a great job. Arrived on time, protected surfaces with mats,and explained controls. Salesman John Cooney came the day of install to see if everything was going good and called the next day after installation. The air purifier and humidifier have made a big difference in my congestion from allergies and dust in my home. I am very pleased.

I have used Neal Harris for several years. Their technicians are very detail-oriented and explained the process thoroughly. They respect my home by wearing shoe covers and making sure they did not track in anything from outside.

Service Tech Jeffrey #195084 arrived on time. Proceded to inspect furnace in basement, AC outside unit, checked attic ventilation. Very professional service, very knowledgeable and friendly. It was determined that the furnace was failing as we thought. The unit was 20 years old and we knew we would need to replace soon. We asked a salesman from Neal Harris to come along as well, we wanted a quote for an entire system. Jim Lewis did a wonderful job as well in advising us of our options, not being pushy in the least. Jim took all measurements needed, and was very professional as well. We are having them install a new system for us. Very pleased with the service provided by this company so far.

I am terrible for remembering to schedule the appointment, but I always get a reminder call if we get to the point that it's time to have someone out (which is great of them, since I have already paid for it either way - ha!). It's never been hard to get a time that is convenient for us. This last time, we were supposed to have the service in October but had to unexpectedly leave town and had to miss the appt. We got it rescheduled once we came back for the day after Thanksgiving because we were off work that day as a holiday. I'm so glad they were available that day because we really couldn't take any more time off. Our furnace is an older unit that was not purchased from/installed by Neal Harris (it was there when we bought the house a couple of years ago). It checked out fine this time, and I appreciate that Brent and the others that have come in the past just do the maintenance that is needed and don't use it as a foot in the door to get us to their sales people to sell us a new unit from their company. We have always had a good experience with professional people that have done the job thoroughly, given us descriptive feedback, and not left a mess in our house. I don't know what more I could ask of regular check-ups. So far, no repairs needed, and hoping to keep it that way, but I'm confident that we would have prompt, reliable service when something does inevitable break!

Customer service is one of the reasons I keep coming back to Neal Harris. As always they delivered. Jeffrey called with advance notice as to when he'd arrive and was very upfront upon arrival as to the steps he'd take for the maintenance of the furnace. He stepped me through how to change the humidifier water should I choose to do so myself in the future. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the maintenance visit and appreciated that I could get set up on a recurring maintenance program at a very affordable cost. Jefferey clearly communicated what he had done and recommended next steps without any pressure for me to "buy now". I highly recommend both Neal Harris and Jeffrey (#194265). Cost of Annual Plan ( two annual maintenance visits (furnace + AC)) is $150. Humidifier water panel service was an additional $63.
