Neal Harris Service Experts

Let me start by urging anyone needing a complete HVAC system replacement to use this Costco service (and Neal Harris). We saved literally thousands of dollars over a bid from another local company. Plus, Neal Harris offers a 10 year parts AND LABOR warranty if you go through Costco. Our install guys were Todd S., Ed K. and Matt S. (#212151). They were extremely knowledgeable and absolutely meticulous about taking care of our home. They laid protective carpets everywhere, cleaned up every single aspect of the job and even swept out our garage (including some stuff that wasn't even related to the install). I was really impressed with the guys' technical knowledge, as they even worked with him to reprogram our existing Nest thermostats. You will not go wrong with Neal Harris. The Costco referral program only improves their already great service.

They were scheduled to be here between 8am and 10am. They showed up about 11:30 after I called wondering where they were. They check the outside unit and did visual inspection of the internal unit. And determined that the TXV needed to be replaced then quoted $825 Plus a 99 service call to replace the TXV. The diagnosis sounded suspect to me and the price seemed astronomical. I paid for the service call and sent the tech on his way. I requested a second opinion from a different company. Who told me. The TXV is not bad If it was bad replacing it should cost around $300-$400 depending on cost of the part. This is the second time that NH Service Experts has made a recommendation to me, Quoted an excessively high price and turned out to be wrong.

I will begin the search for a new service provider.

The work was started as promised, finished in a timely manor, clean-up very efficient all to our satisfaction. Our techs were: Todd S., Ed K, Alfonzo J and Jacob Z. We were promised a Thursday finish and the work was completed on Wednesday. We are happy customers. ,

Techs J.T. And J.C. were prompt, polite, thorough and informative. They quickly diagnosed the problem with my AC unit and got it back up and running. They also took the time to look over the entire AC and furnace looking for other potential problems and hazards because of the age of the system (21 years). They patiently answered all my questions. I would definitely use them again and would reccommend them. Ticket #211286.

The installers (Todd S., Derick J., and Ed K.) were prompt, professional, and left the work area clean. All of the worked was completed in one day.

The two technicians, Al Johnson and Jake 2, arrived on time and were very professional and pleasant. They had to dismantle the old system before installing the new one. They laid tarps over my carpeting to protect it while taking old and new equipment to and from the basement. I was told it would take all day and it did. After the installation, they tested both the air and heating systems to verify they worked. They showed me what they had done and how the system worked. Everything was picked up and taken away with the technicians.

Andrew Purdon (sp?) #195477 was very courteous, professional and honest about the repairs needed and the most budget conscious options for us.

I took the morning off of work to be home for the service, but they did not arrive in the allotted time. The had my e mail address, but never contacted me. Wasted the morning, and a half day's pay. I despise companies that feel that the customer's time is not important to them. Pass these guys by and find someone else.

Andrew P was wonderful to work with! Honest, quick and offered the most appropriate repair in a cost effective manner for our budget.

It went fantastic. Todd and Ed (209386) were prompt, courteous, and efficient. They replaced all refrigerant lines, equipment, and related accessory items (thermostat, etc.). They finished in less time than I was given as an estimate by the sales person and explained everything to me in detail.

Technician arrived on time, made thorough review and check up on AC function.

J.T. provided a great service for me (job#: 209555). She was punctual, professional and provided a nice summary of findings. On occasion, I've had HVAC providers try to "upsell" me on things I don't need, or use scare tactics to try and gain additional sales/services from their appointment. I don't get that from neal harris employees, and I feel like I can trust their opinions and only tell me to do things that I really need to do. Great work as always.

We thought they did a great job. We thought that they did a good job.

Tech John was detailed about explaining the problems and I made decisions about buying a service plan for this year. That means the company will check the heating and cooling system this fall and I will know if I need to do anything further. It gives me the security of knowing that I will be notified about the condition of the cooling and heating system before anything goes out.

The Tech's JT and Greg 207869 were professional and polite. Would ask for them back.

We contacted our salesman who arranged directly for the tech to come to our home. He arrived on time and completed the service in less than the estimated time for completion. As has always been our experience they were professional and provided all the service we expected.

Chris Brown took extra time from his day to locate and fix the leak that seberal others were unable to locate, thus saving me from purchasing freon each year to keep my home cool.

First of all they caled to tell us they would arrive in 15 minutes which was the scheduled time. It was 95 in the garage where they were working but it didn'the seem to phase them. They were very professional and polit at all times . We are very pleased with the whole procedure.

Todd S and Derick J (#206449) arrived precisely when they said they would (even a little early). They were very professional and nice, explaining what they would be doing and how long it should take. They got right to work and finished way within the time they had estimated. I appreciated the time they took to answer any questions I had and that they made sure I was satisfied and familiar with the new equipment before they left. All in all a very pleasant, easy experience from purchase to install.

They arrived ahead of schedule which was fantastic and completed the work in 2 hours. I'm sitting in an air conditioned house and am very satisfied.

I hired Neal Harris after finding a deal on Angie's List that would satisfy a tune-up request made by the buyer of my previous home. I purchased the $99 deal for a full HVAC tune up and scheduled the appointment as indicated. Service was scheduled quickly in April 2015 and performed to expectation. We provided the technician with a copy of the coupon certificate as proof of prior payment (which had already been provided during the initial scheduling) and went on our way. One month later we began receiving outstanding balance notices at our new home, indicating that we had never paid for the service. Upon a 2nd notice, I called customer service and they were able to confirm that I had in fact already paid and would ensure our account reflected this. This month, July 2015, my husband noticed a $99 charge on his account from Neal Harris. He promptly called customer service. They were not able to provide any explanation as to how they obtained his account information, as the original purchase was made from a seperate checking account under my name, nor were they able to justify the charges. They issued a refund back to his account to show up in 8-10 business days. That same week, I received a letter from a collection agency in the mail stating that I had not yet paid the original $99 fee and would be reported to creditors. Again, I immediately called Neal Harris' customer service line, where they stated that my account was completely paid yet again- but could not explain how or why a collection agency had been involved or why my husband's account had been charged. I think it is ridiculous and unacceptable that i have spent so much time fighting errant charges and collection notices when payment was made PRIOR to the services rendered. There is obviously a lack of communication within the office or computer system that is persisting despite multiple attempts to reconcile. While the service performed was adequate, I will never choose to work with this company again due to the time spent dealing with the aftermath.

Fantastic Service. We had a Lenox Mini Split put in by Neal Harris through a Costco program. There were no problems. Each step in the process was smooth and professional. The service team was quick, professional, had attention to detail, and listened to our thoughts and opinions. Brendan Williams, Matt Byrd and Brian Russle did an outstanding job. #1220.
