They beat the price of a competitor bid and were still willing to negotiate on top of that. The sale person and technicians, Todd S. and Tristan P. (#218676), we courteous and professional. They showed up when they said they would show up and took great care not so soil the carpet or scratch the hardwood floors. The installation was done in a timely manner, they cleaned up after themselves. and the details of the furnace operation were clearly explained. It really could not have gone any smoother that it did and we have been pleased with the performance of the new unit.

The technician said the bad heat exchanger could emit carbon monoxide in my house and said he was required to turn it off. He showed me spots of rust inside the heat exchanger and told me this indicated a leak. He said this was the worst one he'd seen all season and that it needed to be replaced right away. He gave me the phone number of the sales staff at Neal Harris. We went without heat that night because I believed him. In the next two days I asked furnace technicians from two other HVAC companies for a second opinion. Both said rust spots are normal in a 11-year-old system. They told me my furnace has multiple safety switches that are tripped when the heat exchanger goes bad, and took apart the system to show me the thing itself and to prove there were no holes in it. I'm disappointed that the Neal Harris people are so unethical as to try to get me to replace perfectly good equipment. They lied to me about the state of my furnace.

Neal Harris Service tech, Jeffrey, came to my home this morning to perform annual furnace and humidifier maintenance. I have used Neal Harris for this service for about 3 years. I have been satisfied with the service and plan to continue to renew it in the coming years. The ticket number for my maintenace this morning is 216557. Jeffrey was prompt, helpful and efficient. He even took extra time to make suggestions for improving my home energy use.

Went as expected, workers were professional, took care of our home, cleaned up very wel. I would have them do other work I was very satisfied, Jason T & Jon S were very pAtient in showing me how to use thermastate. Sales guy was great in fittg me in the right fitt for my Home.

Jeffrey L. (Job #215737). checked all aspects of our furnace. He also checked attic for flue performance, carbon monoxide detectors, humidifier, and thermostats. He checked things that so service has ever asked to check before. He was thorough, informative, and courteous. He explained possible other equipment that might enhance our home comfort. He left area clean as well as removed used furnace filter from our home. We will definitely ask for Jeffrey L. to complete future maintenance checks. Excellent service and technician!

Geoff was prompt, diligent in completing the tasks and left the area clean. He completely explained the work that was done as well as gave pertinent information and instructions on the new UV unit. I am very pleased with his service and courteousness.

The service went alright. They were able to figure out that we had a leak in out evaporator coil. Unfortunately, that was the only good that came out of that. I scheduled it and they were there within two days. It was a great price, but they did not really do what they came to do. They were definitely responsive because they were out within a couple of days. I did not actually interact with them. It was my wife and she said that she had a great interaction with them. They cleaned-up after themselves. I would tell a friend that I would probably just wait for someone instead of using them. The price was great, but they did not perform the service we were expecting them to. So, I would probably tell a friend not to. I would probably not use them again.

Jim Lewis came to my home to give me an estimate on a new heating and air conditioning system. He called before he came by to make sure it was still a good time to do the estimate, and arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Jim was very knowledgeable on his systems and was confident that Neil Harris could provide everything we needed at a competitive price. Since I have a old system (32 years), Jim brought me "up to speed" on the systems available, and what would be a good fit for my home and budget. He spent a lot of time explaining what his team could provide, and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Although we did not end up using Neil Harris to install our new system, Jim made me feel sure that if we had, it would have been everything we needed. In my opinion, as the first person one sees from a service company when searching for a new heating and air conditioning system, Jim is an asset to the Neil Harris Team!

They arrived at 8:30 a.m. put down protective covering over the carpet and flooring to not damage anything and got right to work at one point I left them in the house by themselves to go take care of some personal business at no time was I worried about leaving them here alone I felt really comfortable taken care of my business while they're working in my home they explained everything they were doing and how to operate the thermostat . They were done and gone by 2 o'clock p.m. anyone that use Neil Harris service will be very pleased I guarantee you and yes I would use them time and time and time again with no question

Great. Came on time. Jeffrey #209593 was very professional. Neal Harris employees always wear booties as not to track in dirt in the house. He explained everything he was going to do, and then when he was done, he went over in detail what he did and what needed attention. Very friendly and did the visit in a very timely fashion. Didn't hurt as he was also a KSTATE fan... EMAW

There aren't many details. He came in, went downstairs to the furnace room, performed the routine checkup of the furnace, informed us after inspection that a new humidifier was needed due to bad solenoid and saddle valves. He quoted us a price for new CO detectors and duct cleaning. Unlike any other Service Expert professional who has been here, he will be coming back with a longer ladder in order to get into the attic and inspect the flue. He was very pleasant to deal with.

For some reason my appt wasn't on the schedule, however they were still able to get someone out. Everything went well, Jeffrey the tech (#213306) was friendly and provided professional service. My service was prepaid which I think makes it easier. He asked questions prior to starting to see if there were any issues. He changed the filter with one I had, checked the insulation and provided suggestions on items that could help along with costs. I recommend Neal Harris and Jeffrey. Thanks

Once the determination was made that a new air conditioner was needed (i.e.) was too small for home to cool; was not high efficiency; and costly repairs, Neal Harris installed a larger, more efficient unit the next day! My husband is disabled and is on oxygen. Neal Harris is familiar with our circumstances and has always been super prompt in answering our service calls. The hottest day of this past summer, our unit stopped working. Neal Harris had a tech out the same day I called. He was here at 7:00 p.m. and worked until 9:00 to get us up and running. I have been a customer of Neal Harris for more than 25 years and it is because of this kind of service and dependability that I will remain a customer. I have used Neal Harris for Heating and A/C for many years, but have not needed Plumbing services in the past. When I needed some plumbing work done, I decided to give Neal Harris a try and it worked out well. First, the visit for the estimate was simple to arrange and Justin K - #253, was prompt and professional. He looked at everything that needed to be done, gave me the estimate and also some good advice about the repairs. Second, the appointment for the actual plumbing work was easy to arrange and again, Justin K. - #253 was on time. The repairs were all completed with great care, and some extra touches were also thrown in that were greatly appreciated. The clean-up was complete, everything was probably cleaner than when he started. The final bill was equal to the estimate, but lower because of the Angie's List coupon. I would not hesitate to use Neal Harris again for plumbing work.

Pierre (#210736) was very thorough and even vacuumed up the dead spiders around my unit. He offered good advice as well regarding taking a CO detector with me when I travel.
