Austin, the salesperson, was a pleasure to deal with. He was professional, responsive and thorough with his proposal and competitive with pricing the systems. They started the project on time but took a bit longer than anticipated. There were a few hiccups which may not be unusual because of the size and complexities of the job. Jason T. #351, Jon S. #353, Ed K. #328. and even Wayne the service manager came to the job site to facilitate completing the Job. There were a few connectivity issues which may still need to be worked out but the Lennox systems are working better than I expected. They are very quiet and the house feels more evenly temperature balanced. The mechanical area was cleaned up well, but the thoroughfares could have been a little bit cleaner (they placed drop cloths were they walked through). At times the installers can get a bit loud, but that is to be expected. Overall I am very pleased with the results and would use them again.

We have been Neal Harris customers for over 10 years. They have the absolute BEST technicians. Each time they come to our home they are prompt, courteous and very pleasant. They are highly skilled and I absolutely trust them. The technicians that installed our new HVAC , Al Johnson and Dalton Day (#223836) were great! They were very friendly and very knowledgeable. They arrived on time, as promised and took the time to make sure that we completely understood how the new system worked, they answered all of our questions and helped us program and set up the new thermostat. We felt that our salesman, Dick Bernard, was also very knowledgeable and had our best interest in mind. He did not try to sell us a bunch of products that we did not need . He evaluated our home and HVAC system, presented some options and helped us to make an informed decision. I would highly recommend them-They all are the best!

We contacted Neal Harris service personal to have a heat pump installed in our home. The installers Toss S. and Ed k. 223085 arrived at the scheduled time despite it having snow the night before. They made provisions for keeping the floors tidy on trips in and out of the house. Clearly explained the work they would be doing and confirmed the location of the unit components. The unit was installed quickly and functions well exceeding our expectations. Both of the service installers were very polite to everyone including my small children.

I really appreciated the sales person. I felt no pressure but felt that he gave me a variety of options and plenty of information. When we decided to use NH he came back on a saturday and spent about 2 hours going over the bizarre ductwork in our house in order to make sure that the installers had all the info that they needed. Installers were punctual (even early) and professional. Not that I care but my utility room is gorgeous now. They spent plenty of time making sure I was happy with every detail. I never felt that they were rushing, just working hard and they put in some long days. I am very happy with our overall experience and we will keep using neal harris for service. Ed and Todd (#219994) did an excellent job.

Installers Jason T #351, Justin S #356, and Ryan started early at 8am and had the old hauled out and new up and running by about 3pm. Neat, efficient and friendly service. Showed us how to set up the wifi thermostat and all the features of the new system. Thanks.

Technician came first to do a quick free inspection of the entire hvac system and determined that although it was functioning that it was very old (18yrs) and we should probably begin considering replacement. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He then contacted their sales rep who he scheduled to come over later that same day to discuss an estimate and what my different options were. This was all very good considering we already knew we needed to replace the unit. The sales rep arrived on time and was very nice and professional. He removed his shoes inside at all times and proceeded to get some info from us on our desires for the system and then performed a proper Manual-J load calculation to determine what size units were needed for the new HVAC system. This was a welcome sign since many HVAC companies will simply replace the unites with whatever was there before right or wrong. Once the math was all done he confirmed that we had the right sized system and explained the numbers and then proceeded to show me prices from what I would call the "playbook". This was a three ring bound binder of laminated sheets which had on them standard prices for different system configurations. All of the prices expect one were well over 10k with the highest being 15k. A friend had received a quote for a Lennox 3ton system with XC16 ac condenser and a EL296V furnace for $8500 and that i needed to be somewhere around that. I was told that he "couldn't come close to that" and that was due to their above and beyond installation standards. When i compared their installation process to my friends competing bid the only difference is that Neal Harris will replace the return duct boot and the AC power disconnect box. Neither of those items are cause for large (2-3K) differences in prices. I then told him the only things i absolutely needed was 2-stage cooling, 2-stage heating and a variable speed blower and he gave me three quotes. All three were for the most expensive furnace they sell (SLP98V) and the three differed only in the AC units included. The three options were XC14, XC21 and XC25. The issue was the XC14 isn't a 2-stage cooling unit so why even include that? The middle option of the XC21 is part of their signature series instead of the elite series and thus is more expensive to being slightly quieter. A better middle option would have been the XC16 (which I had previously told him my friend had bought recently) because the XC16 is a 2-stage unit and cheaper than the XC21. And why even include the XC25 priced quote (which came in at $15,157) considering I had already told him I wasn't able to spend that much? None of the quotes given to me gave me the impression that Neal Harris was willing to work for my business or attempt to put together a system that both met my needs and worked within my budget. Even if they couldn't get to the price I was willing to pay an estimate with three options that all met my HVAC needs and priced as well as they could would have at least been an improvement. Overall I was just blown away that when faced with a competitors quote which compares directly with both being Lennox systems and both companies selling the exact same equipment that Neal Harris was unwilling to do what it took to try and compromise on their playbook of standard prices and gimmicky promotions they are running right now. I'm sure they do top notch work and their employees I dealt with were all fantastic professionals. I highly recommend that if you have Neal Harris give you an estimate that you get a couple other quotes as well. I will comment on this review once I've made a deal with another company with my final system cost. Updated: 9 Feb 2016 I ended up having a Lennox system with 2-stage heating, 2-stage cooling and a variable speed 96% efficient furnace installed for $9000 before rebates. I would also like to note that my install company did all the same installation techniques and steps which Neal Harris claimed were the specific reasons their quotes were usually higher than others. They tried to tell me their premium price difference was due to their "quality standard install" which few other companies in the business follow. Well I'm here to tell you that my installers did the same top notch work and cut no corners and yet were $3k-5k cheaper than the quotes from Neal Harris. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere when pricing new HVAC systems, don't let these guys high ball you with gimmicks and signature series equipment you don't need.

They did exactly what I was told that they were going to do! The installer, Todd S, Ed K, and Ryan C # 222182 did a excellent job! Even though it had rained the previous day, they made sure not to track any mud in the house! It was a excellent job!

It was Great !!!! This is the second time I have used Neal Harris for a new system. We have also used them for service. Matt came out to service furnace and we realized it was time to replace it. Matt represents his company so well we knew we should take his advice, John Cooney the sales rep came out within the hour and also did a great job. We had three installers and they were all awesome. They went above and beyond on a very difficult job. The techs were Nick V #352 Justin S #356 and the third one was Ed and I failed to get his last name or number. What a relief to have a company we trust for the most important systems in our home.

My installation crew/technicians were Todd S and Ed K (#220573). They were EXCELLENT. Very professional, punctual, knowledgeable and very patient with answering my numerous questions and attention to detail. They left the work area immaculate. I felt very fortunate that they did the install. The Sales Consultant, John C was also excellent. He was very knowledgeable and also very easy to work with. John makes sure to call you back right away if you have a question. One of my bedrooms had a 6 degree temperature variation prior to the install. Unfortunately, the new duct work did not resolve this issue as John had hoped. However, he is working with me on this issue to get it resolved. I will keep this site updated as to the outcome. Overall, I would highly recommend Neal Harris for service, pricing and quality of work.

Jeffrey (#221524) arrived on time and performed the work quickly and efficiently. He was very good at answering any questions I had. He serviced our AC last summer and did a nice job then, also. Only minor complaint is he made a couple of brief sales pitches for additional services (duct cleaning and air purifier system) that I'm sure he is required to mention.

Technicians performed all items per the sales agreement to our expectations. We are more than pleased with the quality of our new home comfort system at this point. Neal Harris provided us a level of professionalism throughout the sales and installation process and we'd recommend them to family and friends for their heating/cooling needs.

Todd S and Ryan C did a fine job in the installation and set up of our new furnace and air handler. They not only were prompt and knowledgable, but completed the job in less time than promised. We did have some trouble diagnosing the original problem, but once found they did all they could to fix it. #221044

It was fine. They came and did the air conditioning part. I never heard from them after that. The price was fine. They did a good job. The whole problem was not following up. That would have been nice.

Technician arrived promptly, was professional and thorough. He looked in the attic at the insulation which no on has done before as part of a furnace inspection. He explained his findings and recommendations concisely and in clear terms.

Jason T (351) and Jon S (353) did an excellent job explaining and installing the replacement unit. The job took a little longer that quoted, but I feel that it was worth it.

The technician (Sydney, #349) showed up on time, explained what she would be doing and got to work. She showed us our filter, changed it out and finished up without a problem. She mentioned ways we could potentially save money and left no mess behind. All together it makes the ten dollars or so we pay each month worth the piece of mind along with the regular tuneups! The did the original install and have kept it up since then for years now.

Our furnace quit working on a Saturday. Neal Harris came out on a Service Call. It was determined the furnace had a cracked heat exchanger. Neal Harris sent out a Sales person first thing on a Sunday Morning. Neal Harris had a crew at our house on Monday. The crew was led by Jason T. (Badge # 351). Jason and his crew worked until we had heat that Monday evening. Jason and his crew returned on Tuesday to finish the job. They were neat and tidy. New HVAC system is extremely quiet! We are satisfied with our service from Neal Harris.

Great! Ron Vohs #218088 was very friendly, knowledgeable and punctual. I look forward to his return in the spring to service my AC units.

Jeffrey (217331) did a vey thorough inspection of our heating system that included 23 inspection steps. He also checked out the insulation in our attic and gave us some recommendations in regards to that. He then gave us a list of items that he thought would improve our heating system such as cleaning the duct work ( which we've never had done ), the addition of attic insulation and also the replacing of our old furnace humidifier, which had done on 11/27/15. All in all he was very professional and promote in the work that was done for us.

In 2011 we had Neal Harris install a new furnace and A/C system and water heater and since that time have purchased their yearly check ups which includes an extended warranty. The cost is right in line with what another company would charge for just a furnace or A/C check without the warranty. They have always been punctual and this time was no exception. Ron Vohs, Technician #217418 arrived right on time and did a very complete job in checking over our furnace, humidifier and water heater. He replaced a couple of filters and cleaned the gas furnace. I would very much recommend Neal Harris. They have always been very fair to us and do outstanding work.
