21/2011Land restoration did a great job repairing our pool deck that was flaking. They are very professional and dependable. We will definitely use them again. They seem a little pricey, but are above average in quality and service, so it is worth it. Overall a very positive experience.

All aspects of the service were exceptional. Tim Land very carefully reviewed the plan for the work and described risks and things that could go wrong. The existing coping was not properly installed and he explained how that might might make the job more difficult. He provided great suggestions on replacement materials and plusses and minuses of each option. Once we agreed to proceed he maintained contact as to when he would be able to start the project. His crew arrived at the agreed upon time at the3 agreed upon date and worked on the job until it was complete. They worked on this job alone through to completion, i.e., they did not appear to be working multiple projects simultaneously. The quality of the work was exceptional and exceeded our expectations, which is extremely rare for pool contractors. The clean up was also extremely thorough. We did not have any callbacks or complaints about any aspect of the service provided. Their costs were consistent with the quality of the work they did, that is, we could have probably gotten our coping replaced for less money, but the result would have showed in the quality of the outcome. We felt the money was extremely well spent. Going into our third summer with this coping, it still looks as good as it did right after completion. Tim Land is very conscientious and honest, and a good communicator. He earned our trust, and we look to him first for future pool work, including recommendations for contractors to do pool work that his company does not perform. Bottom line-I highly recommend him.

I had used Tim Land about 15 years ago for minor repairs and was pleased with the work at that time. About 5 years ago I needed significant work and was able to save a lot of money using someone else...at least that was what I thought. After only 5 years my pool was looking terrible. Every winter it got worse. The company we used before had disappeared. The walls were cracking, tiles were falling off and the plaster had patches that were obviously too thin. It needed major work again. Again I got several quotes and again Land was higher than most. This time I decided to spend a little more and get it done right. He pointed out that the work that was done last time might have looked good but actually caused all of the problems with my pool. The top foot of my pool wall was rebuilt and the tile ledge around the pool was completely replaced with molded and painted cement that was firmly anchored to the pool. We have opened the pool this year and it certainly looks like it has weathered the winter with absolutely no issues at all. I would strongly recommend Land Pool.

Quality work, punctual, Cleaned up any mess. Seems expensive, but with the high quality of the work and their willingness to stand behind it, well worth the cost.

Weather delayed jobs ahead of ours, but the pool was usable so it was not a problem. The workers were very tidy, on time, would explain what they were doing each step of the way ...They were prompt and did careful work. The hot tub required work on the bubbler holes and they did a great job on that as well. We are pleased...It looks like a new pool!

It went FANTASTIC. I wish every contractor did work like they were working on their own home. The crew at Land Pool did just that. Tim Land takes great pride in how he runs his business...from the perfection he demands in product and workmanship, to the people he hires to do the work. The crew was courteous, contentious, hardworking, and took great pride in their work. If they didn't like the way something looked they fixed it without me having to tell them. Communication was fabulous. I knew when they were coming and they worked every day until the project was finished. Justin the crew manager was great to work with. He kept his crew on task throughout the entire project and was willing to help me address other issues and concerns with the pool. I never once worried that they were cutting corners or not doing it correctly. They took the time every day to place protection over our existing deck and cleaned the entire pool/deck area before they left each night. I REALLY appreciated that effort! We absolutely love the finished product. I would HIGHLY recommend Land Pool for any pool project.

The work was well done and in a timely manner. He is very friendly and professional and knows plenty about pools. We thought we needed the whole pool replastered and Tim pointed out that was unnecessary.

Land Pool Restoration, Inc., was one of only two member listings in the greater Kansas City area. The first contact was initiated in the fall of 2013. I phoned Mr. Land and received an immediate answer to the call, he was on a site working at the time. I was surprised he not only took the call but handled my questions and concerns with honesty and integrity even though his company was not able to do the work, or no longer provided the type of service I was needing. He gave me names and numbers of other companies he felt did good work and were considered to be reliable in the industry. I did some research and contacted a few of them but none were available for fall projects, they were booked and of course weather was to be an issue. I recontacted Tim Land in the spring of 2014 with a follow-up of questions and concerns and once again he graciously listened and offered some industry standard advice as well as some work he could help me with on our concrete decking in the future. I thank Tim Land for his time and efforts. It's refreshing to know people like him are available and still care about personal service and a and quot;job well doneand quot;!! Hard to find anymore!

Tim called back right away and was able to come to the house the next day. He was candid and honest in his assessment of the tile damage. He did some repairs on my pool a couple of years ago and I was pleased with the work. I am still getting estimates and haven't decided if I will have Land Pool Restoration do this tile repair.

Tim was responsive, thorough, and very good communication. I did not end up using his company but I was pleased with the interactions and would consider using him in the future.

I was very pleased with Tim Land. He was in constent comunication with us throughout the porcess. Sent out samples for tile and talked this through with us on the phone. His son was on the site for all the repair work and was very pleased with the work and professionalism of that team. All members came to the door and introduced themselves to my wife so that she would feel confortable with them being in our yard. Only critisisum I would have would be with the Painter who was sub-contracted by Tim Land. The painters would leave their brushes and buckets laying around at night which is a problem with pets. Also we did have a couple of tennis shoe foot prints in the bottom of our pool were one of the workers walked across the pool surface while it was still wet. My greatest complaint is that one of the painters was a smoker and left his cigerete butts all around the pool. I would recommend to Tim for a different Painter next time.

We did not elect services to be performed at this time. We'll schedule it for a future date.

Work was well done, one spot was forgotten but they returned and address that quickly.

Just recenty, I noticed some troublesome spots in my pool and I asked Tim to take a look. He arrived just as scheduled and assured me that there was nothing to worry about. I also asked him about some sandstone edging that was separating from the patio and he gave me some excellent options.

They did a good job.

They did a great job coming out and explaining what the work would entail and what needed to be done. I am not sure if I will use them.

The search to find someone to replace the old tile in our pool that was cracking and popping off was difficult. One company always had a full voice mailbox. I actually made contact with one person who then asked me to "call him back because he was in his car driving." I did make contact with him again and we set an appointment for which he never showed and never called. I asked friends and neighbors who have pools and no one had been satisfied with the experience they had with pool restoration. Our pool maintenance person had recommended Land Pool. I was grateful when Tim answered the phone and showed up when he said he would! Tim is very professional, provided me with a long list of references, wrote up an estimate and explained our options. He is very particular about his work and kept us informed of the progress. He uses only a few people to work on his projects and this way he is able to maintain quality control. Save yourself headaches and skip anyone else when you need pool restoration work done.
