While we were not able to use this company, I was very impressed with their customer service. I left a message in the evening asking for a quote and received a very quick call back to let me know that they no longer make replacement keys.

I called on a Friday and left a voice mail to schedule a locksmith to come out and re-key my locks. Mark called back promptly to schedule a time on Monday to come out, and he made some suggestions that ended up saving me some money (I wanted to install an additional lock that he said was unecessary). On Monday Mark showed up about 20 minutes early, and got the job done in about 30 minutes. I was very pleased.

Mark showed up on time, worked fast, explained what needed to be done and fixed the lock quickly. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. His work ethics and customer service was A+ and I am very happy that I checked Angie's list and that I called Jim's Locksmith Company to do the work. If you need reasonably priced work with an A+ customer service, you should call these folks. They definitely know how to show "Southern Hospitality" .

Over all experience with this provider was excellant. He checked both the door locks, partially loosened and adjusted them just perfactly. Now both the locks work fine. When I sked for the bill, to my surprise he said no charge. This was not real work and will charge only If I have any work to be done more then which he did. It was very nice of him to do this work with no charge. This is a rarity now a days. He and his assistant, both were real gentlemen. I felt really bad that he came to my home and did all the work free, inspite his disability to walk without support.

No services performed. I left a voice message on the answering machine and did not receive a call back.

The gentleman that came out to change my locks was not Jim; I think Jim is retired. He was courteous and professional. He came at the time agreed, changed 3 locks and made several duplicate keys for me. My front door had a goofy key that could not be duplicated by anyone in town; changing the lock was the best solution. The cost seemed reasonable, if not a bit low, to me.

My call was returned promptly. The technician was right on time. He was very pleasant and finished to job in about 30 minutes. Will use them again.

I called in the morning and left a voicemail describing the problem. Received a call back within l/2 hour. Repairman just happened to be in my area and was able to arrive quickly. He fixed the door lock in about l/2 hour.

Very easy and quick. Prices were also very reasonable and we had all our locks reprogrammed/reeked within an hour. The technician was very professional and efficient. He showed up on time and did his job.

As mentioned above, I called Jim's Locksmith on a Monday to inquire about their services, prices and scheduling time frame and had the work completed on that Wednesday afternoon. I was very satisfied with the work and my experience with Jim's Locksmith. I would definitely hire them again if I needed future work done on the locks.

Appointment was scheduled for the day after I called. Very professional locksmith arrived on time and performed the service as expected with no problems. I would highly recommend Jim's Locksmiths.

Found Jim's on Angies List, Mark showed up right on time and was extremely professional - guy knows what he's doing. He had 6 locks re-keyed and oiled in 30 minutes and helped me with a self bought handle install of a key pad entry lock at no additional charge. You may find someone who is cheaper but remember - you get what you pay for.

See above. No call back to either tell us they couldn't help open the car or that hey were too busy, and to call another locksmith. I'm just glad my wife was at home and not stranded somewhere. The next locksmith we called was out in 30 mins, and out in 5 mins.

Let me start by saying my house is an old one (built 1867) and the front door is old as well, and has something of an ornate/decorative door handle mechanism. I've priced out original-type handes and pulls before and they are not cheap, and I felt certain that with labor costs and new parts, I'd have a nice little bill on my hands. Enter Mark. Mark was scheduled to arrive at 11am. He called 15mins prior to and said he was running a little behind but that he would be there by 11:20 (and he was). Upon arriving, I introduced him to said door, and within a few minutes he had the whole mechanism taken apart. As it turns out, nothing was broken, just a part that needed some tweaking and lubrication. A few minutes later, the door was put back together and as good as new. The repair bill? Suffice it to say his rate was -extremely- reasonable; perhaps gracious is a better word. The repair I had been dreading to have done ended up becoming the highlight of my week, because I got the right man for the job. I trust Mark implicitly now and will never call anyone else should the need arise.

A few days before I selected Jim's Locksmith from Angie's List, My wife was the victim of a purse snatcher. She had her car and house keys in the purse. I quickly purchased some cheap deadbolts and locking door handles and replaced the existing ones. I wanted to save three of the existing locksets because of their high quality. That's where Jim's and Mark came in. I called and left a message on Mark's voicemail. Within minutes, Mark called me and we made an appointment. When I arrived at his shop, Mark was waiting and went right to work. His work and manner were very professional and helpful. I will call on Mark with all of my future locksmithing needs, and I highly recommend him to anyone with similar needs.

We have used Mark from Jim's Locksmith several times over the last few years (locks re-keyed, new hardware for home update, and a security "check"), and our experience has always been very good. Most recently, we had locks changed on a new house we bought. He worked in 100 degree weather with a broken air conditioner. After he left, I realized I had forgotten to ask him about one thing - the sliding glass door - and he came back within a couple of days and fixed it at no charge. Mark is quick to respond and has reasonable prices. He won't try to sell you things you don't need.

He's absolutely fabulous and honest as the day is long. He is good. He did $200 worth of work and just didn't charge us because he likes my wife and me. We are not social friends or anything but my wife use to have a business next door to him. We had a business and we tried to lock the door at 5:30 but the door wouldn't lock. My employees wanted to go home so I called Jim's Locksmith while he was on his way home. He turned around and was there in twenty minutes and went back after hours to make sure that lock was up.

The experience was fine. The locksmith examined the problem, explained it and then fixed it.

I called and left a message that this was not an urgent request but that I needed my door locks checked and re-keyed. The technician called me the next morning and set up an appointment for that day. He was on time, professional, told me what he could do and completed the work in about 1 ½ hours. I will certainly recommend the company and I will call them again if needed.
