We couldn't be more pleased with any fence company. The "B" we gave in "Responsiveness" is likely due to the time of year we contacted them for the fence--it's definitely their busy season. Once we got on their schedule, everything went smoothly. The installation wasn't around a standard rectangular yard. It was a bit more complex because the fence followed a curved yard and dry creek, included three gates over flagstone paths, and the yard sloped downhill from one side to the other. The crew took their time figuring out the best layout and asked questions whenever they could present options. They provided clear instructions about what to do and not to do with the fence to give the concrete time to set up. They also provided a can of paint to touch up scratches that might occur during use. We would highly recommend this company to family and friends.

Working with Kate was a joy. She came out while I was at work to look at my old fence and to give me estimates both for repairing and replacing the fence. I recently had some foundation work done and had to have several of the fence panels removed. Because of this, when Kate came out to measure, she did not cover enough of the area. When I told her she came out when I was home so she could get the right measurements. I decided I wanted to replace the whole fence, she gave me a bid and it was a little less than some other bids (but pretty close) that I had received. Another reason I decided to go with Fence Repair was the good reviews it had on Angie's List. Because of other commitments that Kate had, it would be a couple of weeks before they could get to my fence and then we ran into rain so things were a little delayed. But the fence is finally up, they did a great job, removed all the old fencing and left everything cleaned up. I would definitely recommend The Fencing Repair Co. to anyone.

This is a great company and I recommend them without qualification. From the estimation to the completion of the project,it was professionalism all the way. Extremely careful workmanship. Straight lines, careful leveling of posts and cross-beams, individual spacing and leveling of each panel and really exceptional care in building the gates. Great people and great work.

I was shocked. The owner came out, toured the property with me and was open to my needs. She quoted a price well below what I had feared. and they provided the needed pickets. The arrived promptly, worked diligently and took the old fence pickets away leaving my yard clean and neat. I didn;t believe these kind of professionals still existed, but they do. Fence Repair Company is professional, dependable, and cost conscious as times are hard today and we consumers watch every penny. I highly recommend FRC to anyone needing fence repair or replacement.

An absolutely amazing final product that has garnered raves from the neighbors. The entire process was highly professional. Kate gave me an initial estimate in February along with her recommendations for the type of fencing. The crew installed the fencing over three days in March and left the site cleaned of all construction debris, including hauling away the old fencing. During the three days, I was consulted periodically in regard to various options that arose during the actual installation. Although for the most part it was a straight forward installation, there were several challenges regarding sewer inlets and tie-in to neighbors' fencing. The solutions to those challenges suggested by the installers were clear improvements over the older fencing. The final price did not vary from the initial estimate. A perfect job.

Due to my situation, she was able to squeeze in the job two days later. The installer (and I apologize for forgetting his name) was on time and ready to work. He was extremely polite and very personable - a credit to himself, Kate and Jeff. The installation went well, the fence looks great and the entire area was cleaned up. I have nothing but superlatives from the time Kate set the appointment to provide an estimate to the time the installer drove away. A great team. Probably the best experience with an Angie's List company I have had. They had a supervisor (Kate) who actually came to the house for more than 10 minutes and made sure everything was on track. They were open and communicative. The workers were friendly, helpful and worked quickly without sacrificing quality. They responded to small unforeseen obstacles in a professional, get-it-done manner. They also built a gate for our neighbor with almost no notice so that we both would have a uniform and consistent look to our fences. So glad I went with them. Very high recommendation.

They were very prompt, came the same day I called. Needed the fence completed because I was dog sitting. They made sure to take on my small job quickly for that reason, which I really appreciate. They did all the work while I was at work. Came home to a beautiful fence! Amazing job thanks!

Kate trecked out in the cold and snow to measure for my fence. We were on a bit of a deadline because we couldnt move until we got the yard fenced due to a very agile saint bernard who leaps a 4 foot fence regularly. As soon as the snow melted the got out put the poles in and got the fence up within a few days. Looks great and I am one very happy dog owner...

Because of the weather, we were only able to get the first part completed so far; my neighbor took down a section of his fence and that required me to get that part fixed quickly. Kate arranged for completion of this section before the weather got too bad. It looks great, and we're going to do the rest of it in the spring. We are replacing the old fence with treated posts and a shadowbox design that should hold up to the elements much better. Kate and her company have always been fair and responsive with a competitive price.

Kate came out and measured property for estimate. She also gave us recommendations on the various details of how our new fence could be completed. Received estimate in a timely manner. Due to Angie's list ratings, we scheduled the job right away. They were able to fit us in during a busy time, and completed the job as promised. The new fence is excellent and a real beauty. I have had a long relationship with Kate and the Fence Repair Company (over 10 years). My communication with them has been through e-mail, and in over 10-years, I do not think I have actually ever talked or met anyone. What I see is their responsiveness and work. I send Kate an e-mail, tell her what is wrong, and ask for someone to come out and fix it. I include in the instructions to walk the fence and make any repairs that need to be made or should be made. In the past she would provide estimates; however, I have total trust in her and this company and no longer need an estimate. I will not use anyone else; therefore, they just come out and fix it. If they find something while here and fix it, then it apparently needed to be done. I have never had a bad experience and need to send her an e-mail today to request service. Found something while raking leaves.

Fence Repair did an amazing job replacing our fence. The previous fence was 25 years old, and the estimate was to replace what we had. They did just that, replacing our 6' cedar fence with two gates with exactly what we had. In addition, they added improvements with the gates in terms of structure. The job was completed in two days, the crew was professional and the result excellent. Would recommend this company without question to anyone who needs a fencing project done.

I had used Fence Repair Co. in the past and it went so well that I knew I would call them again if needed. They were as responsive and fairly priced as they were the first time, and the quality of work is excellent. They are a great company that is willing to work with their customers.

I worked mostly with Jeff and his mother Kate and they were professional, pleasant and most importantly they know what they're talking about when it comes to fences. They beat all local quotes that I received from other fence companies without sacrificing any quality of materials. Jeff and team arrived promptly on the day we scheduled for installation and got started right away. They scheduled the installation for 2 days, but because a couple of their other guys finished a nearby job early they were able to pitch in and get it all done in one day before I got home from work at 5:30. When I arrived they had the job finished and were working on repairing a latch on another gate that wasn't even part of the job (free of charge!). I would refer these guys to anyone for any kind of fence installation or repair. They did an outstanding job on the fence and were all a great group of people to work with.

Kate was wonderful to work with, and her staff was punctual to replace 50 feet of fencing. The crew were polite, hardworking, and efficient to replace the fencing. I would recommend this company to anyone needing fence repairs.

We were aware of the Fence Repair Co. as we had seen them advertised on Angie's List when we were looking for a fence company to build a dividing 'privacy fence' for us. We liked their reviews, but we made a mistake and went with a different company because they had been in business longer. We have since learned that; just because a company has been in business longer than another, that doesn't guarantee that the older business does or will do a better job. The pickets of the fence we had built by the other fence company had splits in them that became worse immediately after the fence was installed. Other pickets had dried mud on them, shoe tread prints, and many began to severely bow and warp. After the other fence company became evasive, by first saying they would fix the problem, and then not returning our phone calls, we hired the Fence Repair Co. to fix the problem. Kate from the Fence Repair Co. came out and gave us an estimate of the work needing to be done. She understood our situation and we felt we were dealing with a company that really cared. They put us on their busy schedule and in less than a month we were lucky to have them do the job of repairing our new fence. From dealing with the company's office, to their on site worker(s), everyone was very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. The work done by the Fence Repair Co. made our fence look great! Now we can proudly show our fence to others. We wish we had used the Fence Repair Co. to build our fence at the start, as they build fences also; not only repair them. Lesson learned! The quality of the work was excellent on both jobs. Both fences are now solid and tight. Aside from a difference in weathering on the wooden fence, which will fade over time, the repaired portions look just like the rest of the fences. The jobs sites were clean and free of trash and debris when the jobs were finished. Fence Repair Company is a small, family run business. I dealt with co-owner Kate Perkins by email and over the phone. She was very polite and helpful. I didn't catch the names of the workmen on the day of the repairs, but they also were very polite and professional. The only slightly negative thing I have to say about the experience has to do with scheduling and communication. When we first contracted the jobs, Kate thought it would be more than a month out, in July, before they both could be done. Citing variable weather conditions, she was unable to give an exact date for the work. It turned out that Kate managed to squeeze us in between a couple of other jobs in our area, and both jobs were done in June. In fact, the morning the workmen showed up to do the wooden fence, she had not contacted me to let me know they were coming that day. I would use Fence Repair Company again, and I will recommend them to my friends. I am very happy with the results.

The installation was quick and everything looks great! The guys were very nice and cleaned up after the work was complete.

I called back in April to get a quote and a Kate Perkins came out within a week and took measurements and got me my quote that day. I waited a couple of days to make my decision but I called them up to finalize the deal. The lead time was about a month since the weather during the winter and early spring had caused them to back up with work. I agreed to have them start in late June and Kate stated it should take only 2 days (weather permitting) to complete the fence. One the first day two guys, one named Randy and the other guys I cannot remember his name, arrived at around 8 am and went over the steps that will happen and then they started to tear down my old fence. By the end of the day they had removed the old fence and all the post were up and my yard had been cleaned up pretty good. Day 2 the guys returned early around 8 am and began work. It soon started to rain and they soldiered on as much as they could before the rain started to come down a bit more. After the rain had past they started up and fully completed the fence and the gate I needed as well. The owner, Mike Perkins, came by to check out the work which and see if I have any concerns. The crews cleaned up the mess and were really nice and Randy was easy to talk to. I deal with a lot of both large and small contractors through my job and The Fencing Repair Co has to be the most up front and easy to work with. I had to decided to work from home because I wanted to be their just in case I had seen any issues I can address them early but I never had to stop work and attend to major matters. Randy would come get me with any issues which were minor and not that many. I LOOOOVE my fence and it enhance my yard and improved my property. I have gotten complements from those who have seen it and my neighbor likes what they have done to my yard they have requested the Fencing Repair Co info to set up an estimate for their property.

Their team did a great job and would (and have) recommended them to neighbors. Their team was very professional, fast, clean, respectful to our property (and neighbors).
