They had a great price, came out quickly to provide estimate, arrived to install when promised, installed the fence in one day. Completely satisfied with the project, quality and price. Use this company without any concerns. Highly recommended.

She pointed out that I could replace the gate because it was warped, or I could put on a different kind of latch. She gave me two quotes. The worker came out with the latch and installed it. It worked after that so I did not have to replace the gate. The whole section of fence was warped, so she said I would eventually have to replace the whole section, not just the gate. I didn't want to do that so they just replaced the latch. She is very honest and down to earth.

A great team and family business. I'm a year late in reporting this but I can say the work they did last summer still looks great. I found them on Angie's List and called them up. They responded quickly and gave me an estimate with options for different kinds of posts and pickets. We also needed some concrete sawing to occur before the new fence could be installed and they handled timing and coordination with this other contractor. When we were concerned about their placement of some of the new posts they removed and relocated them without argument or additional cost, the true sign of a service oriented company. They are a very friendly and accommodating team and they made the experience stress free. These are the guys (and gal) you want!

Kate answered my original call immediately and set up a time when I could be there to walk the fence with her. She arrived promptly at the agreed upon time. Very professional but very nice. She drew the fence line and made notes exactly where each type of repair needed to be made. She explained how she uses additional pieces of wood for support that I really don't notice now that they are there. Her crew arrived promptly, did the work, and took everything left over with them. Eventually I'll have to replace the fence but I'll keep using her til the thing is ready to fall down!

Kate and Mike Perkins (owners) were quick to respond to my emails and phone calls. Kate handled the initial interview and drew up the estimate. Mike stopped by the day before to walk the property with me and discuss the details. I like the fact that they're a small, family-run company and have (I think) just one crew. This allows Mike to be personally involved with each installation. He doesn't just make your acquaintance and then hand it off to a stranger. Even though it rained, the job was completed in two days, a day ahead of schedule. When I came home, the fence was done and the yard was clean (just some branches for me to compost, which was just fine). Mike stayed in touch with me by phone or in person at every step of the way. Mike and the crew also treated my wife with courtesy and professionalism.

A repair person returned a few days later and rebuilt two sections of fencing. The quality of the work was first rate and he removed every bit of debris. I have used this company a couple times before and every experience has been a good one.

It was really cold and I was surprised they were here. Everything they did was fantastic and they were excellent. I am a foreman and I told them if I had to pick guys to be on my crew, they would be it. I am a hard guy to please. Every time I looked out they were working. They were very congenial and nice. They talked decent. The price was fair. I was very happy. My wife and I are talking about using them again for another fence.

From my first contact with the Fence Repair Co., I was treated professionally, and Mike, Kate, and all of their employees were terrific to work with, showed up on time, did amazing and accurate work, and were concerned that my wife and I were satisfied and happy with each part of the job. After my first contact, Mike called me and arranged a time to look at my fence project. He was on time, professional, and helpful. His estimate was very thorough and I received it exactly when he said I would. After I accepted his proposal and gave him a deposit to cover the milling of the non-standard-size rails, he and Kate came by to go through all of the details, and let me know when they'd be doing the job. When that day arrrived, Mike and three employees (including Jeff, Mike and Kate's son) showed up with all of the materials and got right to work taking down the old fence and prepping the stone posts to accept the new rails. As an example of their professionalism, I talked to Mike about how to get the ends of the rails protected from moisture...and he volunteered to apply a preservative that I provided to the ends of all the heavy rails before they were installed in the stone posts...and there was no extra charge to do this, even though they spent lots of extra time doing so. They also spent lots of time chipping out some old mortar in the posts so that the new rails were fit properly. I doubt if they anticipated that this would be as difficult or time-consuming as it turned out to be...but they took care of it cheerfully, without whining, complaining, or asking for more money. The fence was constructed beautifully, with lots of custom fitting and attention to detail so that it would last and look great. On many occasions, they'd check with me to make sure that a certain detail was being done to my satisfaction before going ahead. I'm a perfectionist, so I really appreciate that attention to getting the job done to our satisfaction. Overall, I wouldn't have changed a thing about this experience. This wasn't a cheap project, but I felt that we received excellent value for our money, and we know that this fence will be a valuable and beautiful part of our home and yard for many years to come.

They began working first thing in the morning, and quickly completed the required repairs. I was then asked to check the work before paying. The area was cleaned of all left over pieces of fence, etc. I was very pleased with the quality of the work.

The company was extremely fast to respond. I contacted them via e-mail through Angie's List in the afternoon, and received a call the very next morning. The owner of the company was here the same day to give me a bid, which was very fair. It was immediately obvious that the owner was not only highly experienced and knowledgeable, but also very sensitive to my budget limitations and therefore forthcoming in recommending workable repairs instead of pressuring me to tear it down and install an all-new fence. They were busy but worked me into their schedule in less than a week. The crew showed up on time, was all business, got the job done quickly inside of a day, and the quality of workmanship is amazing, considering that they had to make an ancient fence look good and be sturdy and strong at the same time. I would hire them again in an instant and I really appreciate their working with me on a great alternative to replacing my fence. Very satisfied and happy with this company. During the month of April a winds storm blew out a large portion of my old fencing scattering panels in my yard. I phoned The Fence Repair Company and spoke with Kate asking for an estimate to replace all fencing. Kate was wonderful to work with; she is personable, listens well, and takes her time to understand all requests and concerns. My yard is an odd shape and has several retaining walls to contend with. Because of this, I had multiple concerns and requests for a custom fence that met my needs. The estimate from Kate was very reasonable and was accepted by my Homeowners Insurance for replacement of my fencing. The work on my fence started about 2 weeks from estimate and took three working days to complete due to rainfall that the crew had to work around. All work was closely supervised, and many custom details were performed to please me. After the posts were placed and cemented the construction began and took two workers all day to put up my fence. Both workers were perfectionists (to my delight) and took their time putting up the fence. The gates they installed were custom crafted to fit the opening and lock on the inside of the yard. The wood that was used was high quality red cedar pickets, the posts were treated wood. The installers were careful of plantings and my yard had minimal damage to my thick perenial beds. I was thrilled with the workmanship, the quality of the wood, and the careful attention to detail that was given to constructing my fence. It was a pleasure to work with this fencing company from start to finish.

Kate and Mike were super responsive and professional. They were so easy to work with. All of the work was completed in 3 days and the fence looks fantastic. We got bids from 4 other places and they were a solid 30% to 40% lower than every one of them. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will call them for all of my future fencing needs. It all went fine. Once we decided to hire them, they scheduled us right away, working around some rainy days. Because there are many plantings along both fences, we wanted the job done before everything was growing, and we wanted them to be careful around the plants they could see. They did as we asked and cleaned things up very nicely when they finished. They removed and hauled off the old chain link fence. Each job was done within a day and we are very pleased with the results.

The contact person of the company is Kate Perkins. The fence that they installed was a 6 foot privacy fence. I liked everything about them. I liked the time they took to lay a plan out for the fencing work. Since I live in a older neighborhood, the backyard has areas where they couldn't dig deep enough. However, they were really creative in trying to find solutions for a back gate and the way in which they could place the fence posts. I appreciated their presence during the work and they made sure that everything was done correctly. They also did a follow up after the work was done and made sure that we were satisfied. The price was a bit higher and different than other people, but their quality was worth it. I got what I paid for.

They returned the initial estimate very quickly and were very friendly, professional, and genuinely wanted our business. Their quote was accurate, competitive with others we got, and was easily the most "bang for the buck." Despite delays due to weather, they made every effort to make sure the work was done in as timely a manner as possible. The workman was friendly and professional, put in a long day to get the work done, and explained to me afterward everything he did.

Generally, all went well. I was a little disappointed that Fence Repair would not remove my chain link fence as part of the deal and that I had a hard time finding someone who would, as there was a lot of overgrowth on the property. Otherwise, the work was stellar.

They were very professional. Kate came out the day after I called and provided an estimate. They were out the following week after the utilities had marked the power lines, etc. They carried away all the old fence and left it neat and clean. They were prompt and professional.

Mike and Kate were very personable and gave us an estimate promptly. They worked with us on price when another bidder came in lower, We had used them before to repair our old fence, so we knew that we would get good quality. And we were happy to know that we were supporting a local business that appreciated our business. Mike and Kate worked around our schedules so that someone was always home during the work. The fence looks great.

I called Mr. Perkins and described the situation with the old fence, and he came out within a few days to examine it. I hired him to do the repair, which he and his son did the next day. They did an expert job and took away the wire that was removed. He said he was not familiar with the reports on Angie's List, but when I told him that was where I found the company he did not charge me for the wire.

Responded quickly to the intial phone call and gave an estimate. Started and completed the job when they said they would. Because of mature trees had to be a little creative which they were. I thought the price was reasonable but only received the one bid so I have nothing to compare it to.
