Description of Work: I was excited by the number of positive reviews on Angie's List provided for this service provider. They were the first company my wife and I contacted when we decided to gather bids to replace our fencing. I initially made contact through Angie's List, and then followed up with an email from my personal email account. A few days later, I called and left a voicemail. Their voicemail stated that they were experiencing heavy call volume due to recent storms, so please leave a message and they would return the call. A few days went by with no response to my emails or phone call, so I called back. After all, I wanted to have a bid from them based on their Angie's List reviews. This time the voicemail said they were not taking any more bids until after May 27, 2014. Okay, I can understand that. I called several other providers in the meantime. A day or two later, I received a call from a lday who does their bidding, etc. She scheduled a time to come out and told me I did not need to be present. She would provide a bid via email to me. That date came and went (several weeks later at this point), and I still have not received any further communication from the company. I am disappointed, as I had read such wonderful reviews. I will not call them again.

Description of Work: I contacted Fence Repair Co after seeing prior positive responses on Angie's list and couldn't be happier. I had an old chain link fence that one of my dogs had gotten very adept at jumping so I was looking to install a new 6 foot privacy fence. I was concerned about cost but anxious to resolve the situation. Not only did they come out quickly to provide an estimate but they provided me some other options that would make the overall cost of the work less expensive. What company does that these days? I went with a 6 foot chain link for half the cost I was originally looking at and love it. They did a fantastic job with the installation and it looks beautiful. Arrived on time and finished the work in a day. They were professional and courteous the entire time. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a fence repaired or replaced.

Description of Work: I needed to have the fence surrounding my back yard repaired but not replaced. I was pleased that their representative came promptly and walked the fence line with me, letting me know what needed to be done immediately and what could wait. I appreciated her help in doing what needed to be done and not trying to sell me more than I needed at this time. The repairman came a few weeks later as agreed and did a very good job, adding only one small repair that was not on the estimate. Very professional and responsive. I will use this company in the future.

Description of Work: They removed a broken wood fence for us in our backyard. We have used them in the past about 3 times to repair the fence, but this time we decided to remove the fence as we no longer needed it. In all of our experiences with them, they were extremely prompt in scheduling and coming out to do the work. This last time, I was not at home when they came, and they did the work and billed me for it later. Excellent company to do business with. :)

Description of Work: Fence Repair did no actual work, but were very helpful in leading me into the right direction. It was a struggle to find someone to install a simple railing on some outside steps. I'd like to thank them for their suggestions, the project FINALLY got done!

Description of Work: I found them on the List, called and a rep visited me within two days. After inspection, She agreed my posts were fine (even after 20 years) and bid replacing the fencing using my posts. They did a wonderful job also constructing two fine gates to my satisfaction. I highly recommend them to any one with fencing needs. They get an A+ in every catagory.

Description of Work: Kate arrived as scheduled and provided bid for 229 feet of cedar privacy fence. Responsive to questions. Ultimately we chose a contractor with a lower bid, although Fence Repair provided a very resonable bid for the project.

Description of Work: Received an estimate for a shadowbox fence. 62' of 6 foot fencing and 172' of 4 foot fencing plus 2 gates. Kate was very nice and easy to work with. We ultimately chose to go with a different company who could give us the same product, but for a price that fit our budget a little better.

Description of Work: They repaired two different fences. The quality of work was great, made suggestions on how to make the gates work properly and replaced some posts that were not on the original bid. Great professionals working for them. Completed job when promised. A little hard to make contact with, but very professional once contact has been made.

Description of Work: I just bought a new house and although the property was fenced in on three sides I wanted it completely enclosed for pets. I called Kate at the Fence Repair Company and couldn't be happier. They responded immediately, worked with me on what I needed done and were finished within a week! The work is top notch and I would recommend them to anyone ;)
