Went awesome. Parts came in on time and it was fixed very quickly.

Identfied problem. Service man honestly told me that I needed a new appliance.

We discovered that our dryer would not turn on. We immediately jumped on Angies List to find a service provider that would be able to fix the issue that we were having. I called at 11:02 AM and the dryer was fully functional by 12:09 PM the same day. The service was exceptional. David even cleaned the dust and dryer lint out from behind our dryer. I was very impressed with his professionalism and was able to give me some pointers on what might be wrong with the refrigerator water supply line that I have been putting on fixing for a year. I plan on using this provider again in the future.

The serviceman and an in-training assistant showed up promptly after I called. They replaced the "cold and hot water valve control", and left. The problem was not fixed, and we called him out one or two more times. I can't recall if they said anything about it on the first call-out, but definitely by the second they pointed out that stains below the door indicated that the gasket needed to be greased with petroleum jelly or some such. That also did not solve the problem, and they refused to investigate further. Nearly a year later, I finally called out another company today (Abbey Appliance Repair). It turned out that the gasket was leaking in two places because it was torn, and the drain hole beneath it was plugged with hair and other debris. Perhaps the physical disability of the Affordable technician prevented him from getting onto his knees to investigate properly--I am sympathetic to that--but, the bottom line is, I ended up paying double to get the job done, assuming that the valve control was not actually needed.

My service man gave me a call before his arrival. He was on-time, punctual and professional. I greatly appreciated his diagnoses of my various appliance problems.

The repairman, David, came out to my house to inspect it and said it really just needed cleaning at the bottom (use baby wipes, he suggested) and then rub the entire gasket with Vaseline before going to bed at night. He did not charge me for the visit, even though he had to return the gasket he had planned to replace it with. Update--the door still was not closing properly a few months later and I called a different place, The Appliance Care Company in Belton, Mo., at 816-331-1515. They sent out a very friendly repairman who took out everything on the bottom two shelves and determined that I had not put the shelves back in exactly right after cleaning. The door has worked fine ever since, which is a good thing since the gasket is not replaceable (it's a low end refrigerator). The charge was $65.

It went very poorly. The purchased service was to fix a large appliance, in this case my GE Monogram Oven door did not close all the way. The service provider showed up promptly, said he could not get the parts to repair the oven due to some GE restriction. He left saying we still had the coupon good for another appliance repair. I paid ~$100 to the GE repair service to come out. They quoted me ~$1000 to repair the oven which I turned down. I got the parts list from the GE guy, bought the parts at Marcone supply. I then called Everyday Appliance back to install the parts, the receptionist said the repairman would call right away. He never did, she never did, I have heard nothing since. I took it upon myself to take the oven out of the wall only to find out the GE parts I bought at Marcone at the suggestion of GE had nothing to do with the oven spring mechanism. I disassembled the spring mechanism, bought 2 new springs at Ranchmart Hardware for $4, reassembled the oven and the door now closes securely. What a racket.

Service provider was on time (actually he was early but he called prior to arriving to confirm whether arriving early would work with my schedule). Repair went extremely quick without any issues. He even provided me with free advice on a DIY fix for our washing machine. Would definitely hire again.

I woke up today to find that my refrigerator was leaking. All my food in the freezer had thawed out and the ice melted. Being a Sunday, I wasn't sure if I could get someone out. I tried calling Nutterman's and left a voicemail, but they never called back. I then called Every Day Appliance Repair and left a message. They promptly returned my call and dispatched an oncall repairman to the house, informing me that he had a couple appointments before me so it would take about an hour and a half. They said he would call me 15 minutes before arrival. They followed through perfectly! David, the repair man, was super nice, clean cut, and professional. He found that my control board was fried and showed it to me. He had a replacement on the truck so was able to replace it on the spot! He then tested to make sure everything worked ok, which it did. I couldn't be more pleased! Hopefully I won't have the need for another appliance repair anytime soon, but if I do, I will be calling Every Day Appliance Repair!

He was very cordial. He worked with us. He needed a part so we scheduled a second appointment and there was no extra charge. He was very sweet and very efficient.

Went pretty well. Wished they could have diagnosed it on the first trip.

Purchased the Big Deal for a Large Appliance Repair. Appointment was made very quickly. The problem was that, after we'd replaced the water filter in the refrigerator, we could never get the dispenser working again. Technician fixed the filter and line clog and got the dispenser working just fine and then, before leaving, thought to check the ice-maker (which we rarely use and thought the problem with that was the filter issue). He discovered that it had not been installed properly in the first place - said we was surprised it ever worked at all! He have to really get into that but got it up and running as well. Really appreciate the great thoroughness! We will definitely use the company again.

He knew immediately what to do and did it. Everything he said was true. I had to call him back because as soon as it would make the ice it would start to melt. He did not charge me for the second visit where he replaced the thermostat. He was absolutely wonderful. He was professional and quick.

Don't hesitate to give them a call. $7.95 service call...are you kidding me? Who'll come to your house for $7.95 to diagnose a problem? That doesn't even pay for their gas to get to your house. It ended up that the "problem" we were having really isn't a problem at all...just an oven that takes longer to preheat than we're used to. David and I had a nice conversation while we waited for the oven to preheat. He gave me some good technical knowledge and advice for future appliance purchases. I couldn't be happier and will call them if I need an appliance repair professional in the future.

They repaired a refrigerator and it went very well. I would recommend them to anyone. A refrigerator is something that needs to be fixed quickly and the first time I called them they were to my house by noon. They ordered the part, called us and came back promptly to fix it.

ioI called several washer appliance repair services, they were scheduling appointments 5 to 7 days in the future. When I called Everyday Appliance Service, they scheduled an appointment the next morning for between 11 and 1 PM. The technician called at 10:20 asking the symptoms of the problem and the age of the washer. He said he would be there in about 20 minutes. They arrived within 30 minutes, went right to work, within a few minutes had removed the broken motor and showed it to us. They had brought a replacement pump, since they were pretty sure that was the problem, so they were able to replace it then. The whole thing took about 30 minutes. They did have to borrow a wet/dry vac, since theirs had broken, but left everything clean and dry in spite of the fact the washer was full of water when they started. I was able to start doing my stacked up laundry by noon!

I have not had such great customer service for a long time! I was so happy with the service that I hopped right online after David left to complement him and the company. I so appreciated the responsiveness of Roxanna in the office through Angie's List e-mail. They were able to fit me in that day (today). I was quite impressed with the speed that David diagnosed the problem and then even had the part with him. All of the appliances and problems seemed very familiar to him. David was so friendly and approachable. He also didn't treat me like an idiot or like I had done something wrong as I've felt like with other repairmen in the past. He seemed to recognize that appliances aren't our entire world which I appreciated (unless they break :). Their prices seemed very reasonable too. David gave me the Angie's List discount since I had mentioned I was a member even though I had forgotten to ask for it--talk about integrity! Earlier in the day, David had also been to my mom's house to service her double ovens. He brought her comfort since she was very worried about the electrical situation and also made her happy since he would be able to repair the oven. He also looked at her washing machine that was leaking and quoted her a price for both to repair. She was also so comfortable with his demeanor, which she is quite particular about since it makes her nervous to have strange men in her house. Win, win!

Telephone call was answered promptly and courteously. They scheduled a technician the same day. Tech was very professional and explained the cause of the door closing problem along with the estimated repair costs. Repair done in less than thirty minutes. A follow up call to slightly re-adjust the door was done promptly and cheerfully.. A very good experience.

This was a fantastic experience!! I highly highly recommend Everyday Appliance. They were right on time, gave an estimate to repair the machine, answered any and all questions and even gave me tips on how to make my appliances last longer or work better. David and Daniel were terrific and I will definitely use them for all my appliance repairs in the future. Thanks guys.

I called Every Day Appliance Repair and my phone call was immediately answered by a person. I explained my problem and she asked for my address, name and phone number. While on the phone, she noted that a tech was going to be in my area this afternoon. She asked if today would work out- and let me know that the tech would call me before he came over. Dave, the technician, was friendly. He called and asked if he could come over exactly when I was told he would. He arrived promptly and within one minute, explained the problem in clear detail, the cost and the time he would need to put into it. He did not have the part he needed in his truck at the time, and asked if he could run out to the warehouse, do another quick job in Prairie Village and then come back out to my house to finish the job that day. I told him, "of course". Dave returned exactly when he said he would. It took him no time to replace the part. He called me out to the garage to show me what he had done, explained what I needed to look out for and put the fridge back in place. He offered to help me put the things I had removed from the refrigerator back. He honored my Angie's List coupon of 10% off. Great, honest service. I will use them again.

I called their office at 9:00 on Sunday morning to see if they could repair our fridge. A human answered the phone! I told the man our fridge went "click, click"..."click, click" and stopped cooling. He asked the age; 8 years old (next week). He said that was about when the motherboard started giving problems. He told me somebody would be by in an hour or so. An hour later David called and said he was 15 minutes out. 15 minutes later he was here. He tested the theory about the motherboard and, indeed, found a relay drawing too much current that would cause it to overheat and shutdown. He had one on the truck and replaced it and was out the door in less than 20 minutes. He was very friendly, courteous answered all my questions.

justin came out the very next day after i called, very pleasant gentleman. checked the washer and told me it would not be worth fixing, too expensive to replace the bearing. i asked for suggestions where to shop, what to buy and he was helpful. he did not charge me for the service call. i will call him in the future with any problems i have with appliances.

Contacted service provider. David asked questions about the problem and the model. He did some research and promptly called me back. With no available parts for the model on the market he said they could not repair the old model. I appreciate that he did not waste my time or money scheduling a house call.

After experiencing a leak from our dishwasher two times in a row, we consulted Angie's List and called around for someone to come out and see what was wrong with it. This was on a Thursday. Several providers told us it they could do it next week or provided several windows of possibility on Friday of that same week. Everyday Appliance Repair said they would try to come out the same day and would call us back after 3 PM to see if it was possible. After hearing about the dishwasher issue and the make/model - they mentioned that they see this problem a lot and provided a great deal of info on what it typically takes to fix it. They called before 3 PM and said they would meet us at home to assess the issue. We forgot to mention that we also wanted them to look at an ice maker that was broken. David showed up. He was professional and very helpful. He looked at the dishwasher and found it was actually okay and a result of likely some large items that had been washed and redirected the water against the door, but since it had been also running louder, he adjusted the insulation to help that problem, too. At that point we asked if he would look at the ice maker - which he said was shot. He then ran over to get a part for it, as we had not let him know in advance of that issue, and he promptly returned and fixed it within an hour. All in all, David came out the same day without us waiting hours for someone to show up, and the cost was very reasonable. The service call charge was also applied to the cost of the repair. David was professional and knowledgeable and very helpful in providing advice on our appliances (refrigerator and dishwasher). We would absolutely use this company again if we have the need.

My wife and I had just gotten back from vacation with a pile of laundry when our dryer quit working. I found Everyday Appliance on Angie's List and decided to give them a call based on their previous reviews. I called in the morning, and Dave was at my house on the same day at 2 o'clock. Dave immediately knew what the problem was and was able to fix it within 20 minutes...at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend Everyday Appliance Repair.
