I just moved into my home and really didn't want to use the dryer until I knew if it was safe to do so. I had made the appointment with Harold even before I arrived in Kansas City and I am so glad I did. He arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. He discovered that combustible material was used (all 18 FEET of it) in the attic. He cleaned it all up and cleaned the bathroom venting as well and installed a roof top vent for the dryer. I am very very happy with Harold. I feel the price was excellent for the type and quality of work he performed. I will only use the Dryer Vent Wizard in the future. Mary W.

Air flow was checked, transition material was inspected as well as outside vent to ensure all were in working order. He also checked the hoses on my washer which I wasn't expecting but did appreciate. I was provided with a couple of options that could improve efficiency of the dryer but elected to pass on them. Technician was very informative and helpful. I didn't suspect any problems but just wanted 'peace of mind' that everything was safe and working correctly. Was very happy with the service.

My new dryer was drying extremely slowly. The installers had said that they couldn't put in a new vent unless we replaced all the venting but that the old vent would work. Turns out all the venting was not up to code, filled with water and debris and a fire hazard. Dryer Vent came out quickly and replaced all the venting and cleaned the dryer lint buildup. They did it in one service call for a very reasonable price and my dryer works great.

We are very satisfied. It went very well. They should just be aware that the technicians work really hard but sometimes they don't have enough information from the previous customers. At Mary's house, I had to wait quite awhile because they were into a job before ours that was extremely involved. So instead of the scheduled time, 11 am - 1 pm, they came like 2 o'clock. They came on time for ours but they called me. They stayed in contact and let me know what's happening.

Mr. Bert was very professional and knowledgeable and I would definitely refer him to a friend. I purchased the maintenance program which includes free inspections every 2 years.

This was a GREAT experience. Harold arrived on time, made the necessary repairs quickly, recommended future service and was gone within an hour. He could have done a vent cleaning and I would have been never the wiser, but he told us the vent was Ok and didn't need a cleaning for at least another two years. Found the problem to be a crimped hose behind the dryer. Fixed that with a better hose and installed a "critter" proof outside vent. I will definitely use this company again!

Theses guys were great to work with. The field technician really knew his stuff and did a top notch job on our system. He took the time to make sure everything was right and he spent time explaining what may be needed and why. He spent about 4 hours working on they system, even replaced a dis functioning second story vent. He never applied pressure to decide on way or another. I'd use this company again, no questions asked; although I hope I have a few years until I call them again.

They cleaned my dryer vent which hadn't been done in 12 years, replaced the transition connection from dryer to wall, and replaced the washer hoses with stainless steel ones.

Our home is almost 20 years old and had not had the vent serviced in all that time. We called Dryer Vent Wizard to inspect and clean our dryer vent before we installed our new dryer. Harold arrived on time and inspected our dryer vent. He explained that our vent was not up to code and was clogged, which was a potential fire hazard. He gave us an estimate to clean and update our dryer vent. He finished the job in less time than he expected

They gave me a time frame of 1-4 P.M for arrival, but did not arrive until almost four. They did call about 3 to say they were on their way. The service took about 1 1/2 hours. They were professional, friendly, and efficient. I have a second floor condo unit with the dryer vent a little over 20 feet off the ground, so they had to borrow a ladder from the ground maintenanc crew, but were careful with putting the ladder back in it's designated spot. There was little clean-up, but what there was they did as a matter of course. I was impressed with their efficiency and professionalism as they got right to work with no time wasted. I had the estimate up front and they stayed within the estimate.

The company had a cancellation so they were able to come two days early. The men were very courteous and attentive to our situation. They performed the work promptly and cleaned up after themselves. We would use them again without hesitation.

Harold showed up little earlier than scheduled. He spent about 30 minutes doing an inspection of the system and establishing a baseline. During the inspection he discovered that there was a Bird Nest in the vent (it was about 1 foot long based on what he pulled out, later) and the airflow was (~4.6 mph, ~40 CFM). After presenting his findings, I had him perform most of what he recommended (all except the transition duct ? since my information said it was code compliant) He cleaned he removed the nest and cleaned the vent line. He also replaced the exterior vent which was the typically ?bird proof? cover from a big box store. The last thing we cleaned was inside the dryer, his vacuum tools were flexible and able to get into the machine were my vacuum would not be able to reach. In the end the velocity of the air at the exterior vent was ~18.3 mph or ~140 CFM. That is almost 400% percent better airflow. I can now use the automatic dryer sensor instead of the timer and my loads dry in half time. Before cleaning my dryer was hot to the touch after a load, now it is not. The service was great, however, be advised it can take awhile, I was expecting it taking about 2 hours, it took 3 hours. So plan ahead.

Procedure was involved and he did a very careful and perfectionistic job. My dryer vent had never been cleaned out (house almost 40 years old), all connections were loose or untaped or unsuppoorted. he changed out the discharge tube on my dryer with a solid one, and replaced the dryer vent louvers outside. The dryer works really well now, drying time has been cut in half. Lint removed from the vent tubing was a huge mountain of flammable packed lint. I was very happy with his work.

Went wonderfully. Our current dryer had been vented up into the attic. Harold offered two options to create a vent directly outside or to go through the attic to the south side of the roof. Going directly outside would have been about $300.00 less but it would have put the vent close to the front door so we went with the roof option. Our service provider, Harold, was prompt, efficient and very thorough. We recommended him to our elderly aunt who also had a quality experience and was pleased with the new efficiency she got with her dryer after getting the vent cleaned. The heating element went out in our two-year old dryer. It seemed a bit soon to have to start replacing parts. After having the dryer fixed, the repairman suggested I call Harold to have the vent cleaned out, so we did. The lady who scheduled the appointment was courteous & quick to make our appointment. Harold was early and explained everything that needed to be done. Even though our dryer was only two years old, we have been in our house over seven years and had never had the dryer vent cleaned. Harold changed out the vent hose (ours didn't meet code) and replaced it with a much more substantial one. He also replaced the vent from the house to the outside. Had we had the vent cleaned before, we probably wouldn't have burnt out the heating element. WOW! What a difference! Our clothes dry twice as fast and now I have to wait for the washer to finish instead of the dryer to start another load of laundry. Thanks, Harold!!
