They charged me by the hour. Overall the experience with them was okay. I would probably use them again in the future.

They were great - they were very prompt, courteous and efficent, and my computer is now in perfect working order.

A.J. started right in on finding the viruses and other mal-ware that I had gotten. He answered all the questions I posed. I hope I don't have to use their services again, but I do recommend them highly.

I was pleased to find an independent computer repair business in Johnson County. Richard was very knowledgeable, personable, and a good listener. I explained exactly what had happened and how I use my laptop. He kept it a minimum of time and charged only a flat fee to clean it of a couple viruses as well as uninstalling a problematic program. He showed me the problem, told me what he had done and I am sure that he has extended the time I will use a not-so-new laptop. For my purposes, that is just what I wanted. It works great and is fast again. I am very satisfied and would recommend this excellent, very professional small business to anyone in the Johnson County area. They are doing a great job for their customers!

They are a great outfit. I've used them several times. If I take the machine in, I only have to pay for the labor and the parts. If they come out, there is a service charge around $65. If they can't repair it they don't charge the service charge. The price was reasonable for the last visit. They are very good about coming out if I have a disaster. They came out the next day and fixed my computer when it had the virus. If I have to take it in to their store, they always have somebody to carry it in. If there is a problem they usually call and let me know. They have been very responsive and very good about what they do. I use them all the time.

Excellent customer service. very responsive did all they could to recover and did not charge me. Robert and his partner or assistant Richard were outstanding. Called a place or looked up info on where I could send for additional recovery services. Gilware.com and also recommended replacement computers and were very helpful with that info.

A.J. was prompt, courteous and professional. He got right to work and fixed my problems in less than an hour. Next time I will call Computer Medics before spending HOURS on the phone trying to get the problem resolved through Time Warner (with no success)!! I felt that the price was reasonable and I'm very happy with the results.

The first scan they did did't work so they had to do one that was more "in depth" that took overnight. Price did not increase even though it took a bit longer than anticipated.

I'm a satisfied customer who would call this company again for any future computer repair needs.

It was great because I had a related issue and they fixed it with no addiutional charges since it was within a week of the repair. I was very happy with the sevice.

A.J. came to the house on time and professionally did the job. After the install was over and AJ had left, I experienced a small glitch with opening some of of the email attachments. I received excellent phone support from "Richard" and AJ ultimately returned to the house to fix the glitch and made it right. No further charge for the return visit. Just excellent. Very happy with the service.

In the past we have had reoccurring problems with our computer, and had not found a computer repair business that we wanted to go back to. I had a million questions for Richard before using their service. He was wonderful in talking me through the process and how it would be handled. I expected it to take a week or so to set up our new computer and transfer everything. We got a call in 2 days saying it was done. When I had questions following, he was very helpful as well. Computer Medics is a place we will definitely return to if we need help, and I will recommend them to anyone who asks.

Their prices were extremely reasonable and the work was excellent. I was very pleased with the whole thing. They made two trips to fix it. They didn't charge me for a significant portion of it because they had to come back. They were very, very reasonable in price. There were a total of four visits. I am going to use them again.

They charge per hour. The guy who came out was very personable. He did not come across this notice as I came across as extremely smart. He explained things to me. When he left, I didn't know to ask for some training on when I start my machine what I'm going to see. I started my machine next day; I actually was getting the wireless network to work. I didn't know what choices to make because a screen popped up, and it was asking me questions. I called him up, he came back out, and did it free. He showed me what I needed to do, and got it straighten out. It was a sheer responsibility; he probably assumed that I have more knowledge than I did. I have no idea why because I was very clear that I have no idea what he was doing. I persuade the fact that he came out, and got it all fixed up me without a charge. He was little pricey; but I couldn't have done what he did for me in lesser time.

It went great. He did a great job. There was a lot of waiting as things were cleaned up which was expected. I was in a hurry to get someone out and scheduled the appointment for the next day. The next day came and he called to say he was stuck on another job and wouldn't be able to make it out as expected. He first asked to reschedule for Monday but then offered Saturday. We couldn't wait until Monday so we took the Saturday appointment.

It went well. He came out the same day I called. He was a little delayed by called to let me know. He did what I needed him to to do. He explained what he was doing as he did it. He also answered other related questions I had not specific to my issue. I would most definately use him again.

Note: Gave us spare internal HD and video card free. Changed only cost for part on 1G Ram. All labor was only $217. They gave us a lot of service for that price, and were always polite, personable and gracious.

I called before the office was open, didn't leave a message and they called me shortly after the office opened. Arrived same day as the call; were flexible with times. Service member arrived on time; fixed the problem immediately.

Went very well. I was quite pleased with the experience. The only "B" I gave them was for price. There was a $95 charge for the diagnosis and labor. I thought this was a bit high for how quickly the problem was actually diagnosed and how quick the repair seemed to be. I know they had to go get a part ... so this contributed to the time spent. I haven't compared base charges to other places, so this may be in line. The service was definitely worth paying a bit extra if need to be. Fast, friendly efficient.

I have been having trouble getting Internet wifi access in my house for years. I have had at least three companies out spending much money and time to get the situation corrected. I had bought numerous amplifying and other equipment (through their company) I had almost given up when I joined angies list and saw the good ratings of this company! A.J came out and within minutes suggested running it through the electrical system and got it up and running perfectly ever since!!!!!!!! I love that guy and Angie,s list for giving me good advice!!!

This store gives fast, good service. I highly recommend them!

This is the second time I have used Computer Medics repair service. I was scheduled right away when I called for service (by a polite lady who worked around my availability) and the repair person arrived within the window of time given. The tech will come to the house for a charge of $95.00 (plus tax) for the first hour; after the first hour additional charges are by 15 minute increments. If the repair is complete in less than an hour, the technician will continue to work on other areas requested, for the full hour. The two times I have used this company, I have needed only the one-hour of service. I am very satisfied with the work done and the outcome, especially since I have no clue when something goes wrong. My computer is working again and I feel it's a fair price since they come to the home. And I'm always smarter after they leave. I always learn something that will help me in the future.

He was a nice young man, he was efficient and it has worked ever since.
