Excellent experience on multiple occasions. They can sometimes remote in or if need be the come. It has been an excellent experience.

I called and they were able to see me the same day. They arrived on time , determined exactley what I wanted and got to work. The technician worked for about and hour and didn't waste any time. He accomplished what I needed fully and the price was fair and as quoted. I would recommend this company and will use them in the future as needed.ed to my new Windows 7 computer

Great company to work with. They were able to recover all the information we were looking for. Very professional and friendly. Customer service oriented. Cost was very reasonable. Would definitely use them again.

They made a recommendation on what they would do if it were them, which was the less expensive option. Their recommendation was that the computer was not worth investing to fix. So it would take more money to fix it than it was really worth. It was an older computer that wasn’t doing something right. Their recommendation was that it was time for that one to be retired. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I thought my laptop was toast but Computer Medics repaired it fast. I got it back in about 24 hours.

My call was answered promptly and an appointment set up for a technician to come to my home within a day or two. The tech arrived on time and worked for about an hour. He was knowledgeable and patient with my husband and I as he told us what he was doing. Although he did tell us to call them back if we had any other issues within a week or two, the situation was resolved and we have not had any further problems. I was hesitant to seek help thinking that I should be able to take care of the problem myself if I just kept working on it. Trading the stress for paying Computer Medics for their expertise was well worth the price and I would not hesitate to call them again should the need ever arise.

Came out within 2 days of my call. Fixed my computer problem and cleaned up some other things. Professional and helpful.

They were quick and accurate.

My computer was acting strangely and then I got a blue screen that said it couldn't find a drive to boot from. I took the computer to Computer Medics and sadly they found that the mother board was bad and it would not be cost effective to repair. They moved all my data on to an external hard drive, returned the bad hard drive to me and disposed of the rest of the PC.

It was quick and professional. I was pleased with their attitude, especially when explaining the technical aspects of the situation.

AJ WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE BUT EXPLAINED THINGS IN LAYMEN'S TERMS SO WE COULD UNDERSTAND WHAT HE WAS DOING AND THE PROBLEMS HE FOUND. HE ALSO POINTED OUT SEVERAL ISSUES WE HAD NOT CONSIDERED. HE TOOK THE INITIATIVE TO MAKE CERTAIN THE NEW IP ADDRESS WAS INTEGRATED WITH OUR SECURITY CAMERA AND THE CAMERA SOFTWARE.

It went very well. At first we thought we might need to upgrade to all new computers. Robert was very knowledgeable and we were able to determine that we could make the current models work right now and look at upgrading at a future date. They sent me a link to run on the computers to determine how much memory each one currently had and how much more could be installed. This allowed them to bring the correct type and amount with him when he came out. We also needed the computers to be checked for viruses etc... The cost to have him come out and fix the current computers was approx. 725.00. The cost of purchasing all new computers would have been over 5000.00. Job well done. I would definitely hire them again!

I bought my computer in 2007. Recently it's been running pretty slow. I called Computer Medics. Not being very computer smart, I was not even sure what I needed. The person that answered the phone was very nice. He said I could bring it in or have someone come to the house. I decided for the in home service. The tech arrived right on time in a well marked vehicle. He came in and got right to work. Checked for viruses, and cleaned out a lot of old files etc. He took the computer box apart and cleaned out all the dust bunnies. He also suggested adding more RAM, showing me how to install it. The computer is running faster now. I was very pleased with Computer Medics.

The job was finished in good time and everything working fine since installation. No complaints.

From first to last, everyone at Computer Medics was professional, prompt, expert and patient - in short, wonderful!. They answered all my questions with clear explanations and did much to alleviate my anxieties. They know what they are doing and their prices are reasonable. We have used them before and would not hesitate to call on their services again!

My pc wouldn't work. I read about COMPUTER MEDICS on Angie's List and decided to give the company a try. Took the pc to their 119th St location on 9/4/12 and picked it up the next day. All fixed and ready to go. Good interaction with Richard Thomas, technician involved with the repair. I am very happy with the service received.

I originally took only the drives from the Mac as another company had already tried to retrieve the data and taken the drives out of the shell -- but were unable to do -- as they specialized more in PCs. Computer Medics couldn't get the data off the drives but had called around to see if anyone else would be able to do that -- a step that put them in the top ranking for service. When the other company couldn't do it either -- since Computer Medics had said that maybe if they had the shell of the computer, they could access the drive. They tried everything they could -- even consulting with a Mac specialist currently in town-- but were unable to retrieve the data. Since they couldn't complete the project, they didn't charge me. I was impressed with the dedication to service and the professionalism of this company -- and if I have any difficulties with any newer model equipment I will definitely contact this firm.

Right from the beginning they treated me respectfully and it was quickly apparent that they were technically savvy as I described the damage I had done to the laptop motherboard. They asked me to bring it into their shop, which I did, and within 30 minutes they had repaired the motherboard problem and I had a working laptop once again. Attempting this type of repair is something that most computer repair shops would not be able to do, and I can tell you that their service quality and expertise far exceeds what you usually find in a computer repair service and I came away very impressed and a future customer. I was even more pleased when they told me what the cost of the repair was, their pricing was very reasonable and fair.

They were able to fit me in within 36 hours and the technician was able to solve the problem within the initial one-hour charge. He was very friendly, and after solving the problem, showed me the cause so that I could avoid a similar problem.

Anybody else would have just billed me for a new hard drive. They did not do that. They called me up to let me know the hard drive would cost $300, but they had found a new computer for $350 at a different company and offered to port computer info over. Most people would not have that kind of customer service. They ended up costing themselves money to give me a better service. The price for the rest of their work is as good as anyone else and they get the job done on time.
