+ -1 moreI contacted Clean Gutter Services in late fall and was recommended to wait a couple weeks for remaining leaves to drop before having gutters cleaned to avoid having to do it twice. I used a 10% Angie's List coupon to bring the cost of the service down $15. He was out here and performed the service on the date promised and was professional and helpful over the phone. I would use again in the future.

+ 0 moreTroy came out on pretty short notice to clean and do the more severe repair work before some storms rolled in, which was much appreciated. He came back a couple of days later, cleaned again, and did the more time-consuming work. Overall he was very easy to work with and I felt his prices were reasonable. I will definitely be using his services again in the future.
Description of Work: Repair a gutter that had started to pull away from the roof, re-pitch another gutter, and overall cleaning.

+ -1 moreTroy came to do the cleaning within the timeframe specified, and did the work in an efficient manner. I was pleased that he was sure to inspect and clean the underground drains attached to the gutters. He also gave me estimates and recommendations regarding upgrades to the guttering which would assist with keeping water away from our foundation. In general I thought he was very professional and fair. We are planning on having him come out to do some more work on our house later in the year. His final cost to clean our gutters was slightly over his initial estimate, but was within an acceptable range.
Description of Work: Troy came to clean our gutters on a fairly large two story house. He also gave estimates on some upgrades to the guttering and placement of screens on the lower level.

+ 0 moreI called in the fall to request an estimate which he came out and gave me. Then I didn't get around to having him clean the gutters until spring. He located the original estimate and kept that rate. We made an appointment and he showed up and cleaned the gutters while my husband was home. He left before I arrived back home because he was SO fast! He called after he ate lunch to see if he could return to show me repair work we needed. He pointed out several areas needing repair and he was obviously correct. He told me it would be $150 but when he came to do the work one of the downspouts was completely blocked by mud (I'm lucky I didn't have water in the basement). In order to get to that piece and redirect the downspout, he had to remove guttering buried under heavy rocks so he charged me an extra $50 which I thought was reasonable for the extra work he had to do. Troy owns the business and does his own work. He seemed responsible as he showed up when he said and did what he said he would do without supervision. I would hire him again.
Description of Work: He cleaned the gutters on our fairly large home including the gutters equivalent to three stories up from the ground. He came back and repaired several pieces of downspout as well as redirected a couple of downspouts.

+ 0 moreThere’s nothing to dislike about him. He goes above and beyond. He is dependable and hardworking. He was great and I would recommend him to anyone. I spent $725 for all he did. He came out and gave me an estimate, and so I gave it to my husband. Then I called him back and he said he would be probably three weeks out. In about two weeks up we had a big rain coming in and he called me in the afternoon about 5 o’clock, and he asked if he could stop by before the rain cleans the gutters and back. So I asked him to come, and he came and cleaned the gutters. I told him that I would pay him for the work that he did, but he refused to take it and said to wait till the whole thing is done. So he came back when he had the time which was last Friday, and finished the whole job. So that shows he goes above and beyond. It’s amazing. His punctuality was good too. I will use him again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Clean Gutter Services. He cleaned the gutters and put gutter guards on the back, and installed some new guttering on the front. He did that last Friday.

+ -1 moreI contacted Troy in mid December and he couldn't clean the gutters until the weather warmed up enough to assure there was no ice present to clog the gutters. About the first week of January the weather was unseasonably warm and Troy came over late Friday afternoon and returned early Saturday and finished the work.
Description of Work: Troy cleaned my gutters and did some minor repairs. He was prompt. courteous and proffessional and I will call him again for spring gutter clean up.

+ -1 moreIt was a great experience. Troy showed up on time and everything was done perfectly. He checked things I would not have even thought of. He checked to see if the gutters leaked and that they were completely cleaned. A perfect job by Troy. He is a perfectionist and even cleaned everything off our large deck and hot tub. It is not often that you see someone who actually cares how the work is done as Troy did.
Description of Work: Troy Montague, who owns and operates Clean Gutter Services is excellent. I called him and he came by the house in a few hours as he was in the neighborhood. He was very professional, did the estimate and which was for $150.00, which is very reasonable for a home our size and the fact that we have a lot of trees. He said it would probably be 2-3 weeks but he would do it as soon as possible. Apparently he has several customers in out subdivision but he had already done their gutters. He called back in a week or less and came at the agreed upon time and did a wonderful job. He is very personable and clean cut and is meticulous in his work. I asked him to put us on his Spring list when he is in our area. The best gutter cleaning experience we have ever had. He went on the roof and cleaned out all of the gutters. He proceeded to use a water hose to ensure the guttering to the ground were all empty and clear. He also did the same thing to make sure the underground drains were clean and open. I would not hesitate to use or recommend Clean Gutter Service and Troy to anyone.

+ -1 moreTroy Montague, the owner of Clean Gutter Service, is very professional and very knowledgeable concerning all aspects of gutter cleaning and gutter cover options. He is very punctual and keeps you updated concerning his progress. I had not had my gutters cleaned out since 1999, when screens were installed over my gutters. Unfortunately he found that the screens on portions of my house had been installed backwards and/or upside down, creating little dams that collected gunk. Because of all the gunk he found in the gutters due to the improper installation and the length of time since the gutters had been cleaned, he really underbid the job, and I invited him to revise his bid. Troy's revised price was still considerably less than the bid I had received from a roofer. Do not wait 12 years to have this done! I would recommend Troy to neighbors and friends and will call him every two or three years in the future!

+ 0 moreI called Troy and he was able to come out within a couple days and provide and estimate. I had some other work being done on my house so, I scheduled Troy to come out 2 weeks later. He promptly cleaned the gutters then recommended leaf guard on half the house, an additional down spout and re-securing some gutters that needed help. Troy is a real nice guy and he talked me through all his recommendations. I had had some issues in the past with work done on my place and Troy was able to make me feel confident that gutters and downspouts would not be an issue any more. Additionally, Troy put some screws in a fence gate for me, without being asked or compensated for, which I appreciate very much. Also, Troy was very nice to my dog. I highly recommend Troy for all your gutter work.

Troy is very knowledgeable about gutter attachment, etc. and pointed out where gutters were coming away from the house due to incorrect installation. I hired him to come back and do the repairs.
Description of Work: All gutters and downspouts were cleaned and tested for water flow. The downspouts were almost completely blocked before cleaning.

+ 0 moreTroy the owner returned my call quickly and got right to cleaning our gutters in short order. He fixed the broken downspout in front of our home. After seeing the condition of the gutters in the back of our home, he determined that they were weakened by rust and said they might hold up another 3yrs and without any sales pressure allowed us to decide whether to replace or hold off till later. It meant an additonal $350 to replace the gutters and downspouts but we made the wise decision to go for it. This was money well spent! Amazingly, after years of seeing rainwater in our basement we haven't seen a trace of water in our basement since Troy worked on our gutters and downspouts. We've put ALOT of money into our home this past year but I'd have to say this by far was the best use of our cash. Thank you Troy, you may of saved us from a huge foundation repair bill!!

He answered and told me he would be out in a few days to do an estimate. The next afternoon he called and came by for an estimate. It seemed good and he did the work immediately.
