Initially, our experience was positive. Salesman Kyle came over around August 1 to look at our current window and offer suggestions. We decided on the casement window. We were having the shower area retiled, so the new window would have a tile sill. A workman came to install the window about 3 weeks later, on Aug 24. It looked beautiful. When our bathroom tiler got to work, he opened the window to vent the room. That's when we noticed that after repeated opening and locking, the window lock would pop out and had to be shoved back in. I waited until the tiler was finished and then called All-Weather. The window, an Andersen product, was still under warranty. I made my first call to All Weather around Sept 1, but was told the repairman, Ben, was out of the office. I had to call repeatedly to get him to even return a phone call--this over the course of about 3 weeks. Finally I got hold of him and he scheduled a visit on Nov 4. He tried to make the lock work properly by using a pocket knife to cut out something from the lock opening; he thought that might be jamming things up. That didn't work. He shrugged and said, "Well, it works most of the time." We said we'd prefer a brand-new window that costs $1150 to work ALL of the time. He said he'd talk to Andersen. It's not clear if he ever did call Andersen, but I couldn't get hold of Ben again for a few weeks. Every time I called, he was out of the office and didn't return the call. Finally, in late November, I got a call back from him after demanding a return call from the salesman at the office. Ben scheduled a home visit for the next day. He never showed up and never called back. Finally, we called Andersen ourselves. They were very helpful and sent a replacement lock. We installed it ourselves. Problem solved. This could've been a very quick fix if All Weather had done their job. What's frustrating is that I stayed home from work all afternoon waiting for a repairman that never showed up, and the company was so unresponsive. I have no idea why the service was so poor compared to some of the other reports, but we will never use this company again.

Removal and installation of new windows was professionally done. Interior polymer trim was neatly installed to finish the job in a very satisfactory manner.

Called Tim, the President and he arranged for a service man to inspect the door, order the replacement and installed it when it arrived. Nary a problem!

We were able to get the storm door that we had in mind. It was installed without any problems and the color matches the surounding woodwork as we were hoping for. The experience was very good and we would gladly use their services again in the future.

They did a fantastic job. Great carpentry work and were very punctual. They were a great company to work with.

The entire process was great and problem-free. At the beginning the salesman showed us the many door options available and gave us estimates on various combinations of door styles and glass that we were interested in. The process was totally free of any sort of sales pressure. We finally decided on an unfinished entry door that would be finished to match the woodwork. The finishing was performed at their shop/showroom and they did any excellant job matching the woodwork. The now-finished door was installed perfectly, the old door hauled away and all of the debris was removed. I'm a long-time homeowner who have dealt with a number of contractors over the years--good, bad and middling. I can say that my experience with All-Weather places them at the top of my list of good contractors.

We had 3 large casement windows replaced. I was very happy with the salesman, the quality of the Anderson windows themselves and felt that the price was reasonable. The installation was poor. The bid included full installation of replacement windows and frames. The workers who did the job were subcontractors who seemed to have great difficulty getting the windows to fit. When they were finsihed the inside sill on the largest window was covered with a flimsy thin veneer of wood that was just tacked down and did not cover the entire sill. Another window had a sharp nail sticking out of the frame on the inside. The hardware knobs kept falling off. The job took longer than expected and they did not finsih until late on the second day. The installer did not even give me a chance to inspect the final work and tried to pressure me to pay in full and sign a paper that everything was done perfectly. I had not had time to really check out the work so I refused to sign or pay. When I saw the problems we arranged that he would come back the following week to fix things. He did this but ultimately the final job was better but not very good. The window sill was split into 2 parts that are not at the same level (about an 1/8 inch difference) so there is not a single level surface and they insisted that this was the best they could do. That is hard to understand since the sill was fine before they started. Overall I would rate the company as good for sales, good showroom, and a distributor of good quality products. However, in our case they used low quality installers. We have to get another carpenter to fix the work.

They were very friendly and punctual and gave me a very detailed written estimate. I gave them a dollar figure of what I could afford, and they gave me examples of what I could do.

Fantastic! The door was complete and ready to install earlier than estimated. They were prompt, always calling ahead for appointments for estimates, measuring and installation. The door is perfect. When the threshold that remained from the old door wasn't quite right, the installer cut a new threshold to fit. I chose to stain the threshold and paint the trim myself, but all the work was done well, and the installer cleaned everything up. There was a nick in the frame after it was complete, but I felt it was not really an issue. Wonderful company to work with!

Quick response and estimate. Door was delivered on time. Installer was professional and courteous. I would recommend this contractor.

We did not go with them. Felt that the Pella product was better, and handled the estimate process better.

I liked everything about them. They were very professional and came when they were supposed to. They cleaned up and were nice. I would probably use them again for something else.

They did great work. They came out twice to measure. The crew was great. They did a good job removing the windows without damaging the inside wood, etc.

We ordered the storm door which was delivered and installed faster than promised. We are very pleased with the installation, operation and quality of their work and feel we received excellent value for our money. We highly recommend this company! It is rare to find quality goods and service today and this company truly excelled in both areas!

Very good! They came over on time, did the work with no fuss, & cleaned up nicely before they left. The windows work great & look very nice. The price seemed slightly steep, but I guess it's worth it when you don't have to call several times or bug them about something in the installation that looks improper.

WE'VE NEVER DEALT WITH A COMPANY REP WHO WAS SO OBVIOUSLY OVER THE TOP. WE THINK HE HAD A BIG COMMISSION IN MIND IF HE COULD SELL US COMPLETE WINDOW TRIM FOR ALL 7 WINDOWS. FURTHERMORE, ANY DAMAGE THAT MIGHT OCCUR UPON TRIM INSTALLATION, HE FLAT OUT TOLD US WAS OUR RESPONSIBILITY. THEIR YELLOW PAGE AD TALKS ABOUT 28,000 SATISFIED CUSTOMERS, WELL, WE ASKED FOR ONLY 3 REFERENCES AND ALL-WEATHER COULDN'T EVEN SUPPLY THAT! THE BUSINESS PRACTICES OF THIS COMPANY LEAVE A LOT TO BE DESIRED. BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU DECIDE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK AND THEY WERE SO POLITE AND SO NICE TO DEAL WITH. I FEEL LIKE THEY REALLY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE ME A HAPPY CUSTOMER BECAUSE THEY KNEW I HAD PREVIOUSLY HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY. I WILL ALWAYS USE THEM FOR THIS TYPE OF WORK AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. BRAD BLAKE WORKED WITH ME AND HE IS A REALLY GOOD GUY.
