Did a great job, very reasonable, punctual and professional. We had a year's worth of infant spit-up stains that are all officially gone now. Carpets look great. Highly recommended. Will definitely use again.

Jeff called me back the day after I called requesting an estimate. He was able to schedule a visit to provide an estimate first thing on Monday and was able to schedule the cleaning on Wednesday. On Wednesday, he called about 15 minutes before he arrived to let me know he was on his way which I think is a nice service touch. The quality of the cleaning was very good. Jeff was professional and very responsive to questions and concerns and you can tell he is interested in providing top notch service to his customers.

They did a very superb job on a stained carpet on the stairs. He also did an area rug in an upstairs bedroom.

My son's family is visiting for several days in early May. The group includes my one-year-old grandson, just learning to walk and sure to be spending most of his time on the floor. When I surveyed the stain damage done to my carpets by three cats prone to voming, I knew it was time to call in a professional. NONE of the do-it-yourself methods we'd tried had worked. I found Jeff on Angie's List. He was very pleasant and easy to work with on the phone, quoting me prices, answering my questions, agreeable and flexible when I needed to change the original appointment. He arrived on time and went right to work on the splotchy carpets in my family room, living room, hall, and two bedrooms. I was impressed with the equipment he was using (a far cry from the old rented Rug Doctor). In less than 2 1/2 hours, he was finished. I couldn't believe the results--the two bedrooms were carpeted in off-white, so I hadn't really expected much. Jeff successfully removed the stains, to the point that my carpets truly look like new. His prices are extremely reasonable. The cleaning solutions he used were safe and mild, and he set up large fans so that the carpets dried quickly. I can't say enough good things about his work. In addition, he displays a broad knowledge of the chemistry behind what works and what doesn't, based on stains and the carpet material.

Jeff came to my house to give me an estimate. I found him to be polite and professional. I liked the idea that he would be the one to do the work - rather than to have a crew do it. He showed up as planned and did an excellent job. My husband and I both work so we could not be there when he did the job. I felt comfortable having him in the house without our being there. I just left a check for him. He did an excellent job. The stains were cleaned and the urine smell removed. My husband and I were very pleased.

Jeff responded to our email request for a bid within 24 hours, which I expected considering that it appeared he runs and operates his business on his own. His quote came in about where I wanted to spend, for two living areas, four bedrooms, a hallway and three sets of stairs. We were also pleased with the other recommendations we saw here on Angie's List. We were under a time crunch and he was able to squeeze us into his schedule, yet we never felt he was "rushing" through the job. He did an excellent job cleaning carpets that are several years old and haven't been cleaned in a year. Several spots that previous cleaners couldn't get out, he did. He was very professional, and when we asked him to add a couch to the job that was terribly stained, he worked very hard to get it as clean as it could get. Overall, we were very pleased and have already recommended him to other family members looking to clean their carpets this spring. Highly recommend using Jeff.

Jeff was very friendly, courteous, and professional. He also gave me advice about removing a paint stain from the carpet. He did an excellent job, at an extremely reasonable rate. I had my carpet cleaned last year with another company from Angie's List, and they charged $208 compared to Jeff's $143 (and they did not clean my car seat). I would highly recommend Voorhies for carpet cleaning.

We were recently transferred to NC and when we took one look at our house we thought we would have to recarpet the whole house. I interviewed 4 separate companies from Angie's list (A ratings) prior to hiring Jeff. He was the only one who did the actual work himself. The others had employees who did the cleaning. Since I didn't know the skill level of the people who were to clean--I went with Jeff. As an added bonus his estimate was less then the other carpet cleaners. Once our house was empty-Jeff came in and went to work. Furniture hides so much--the carpet looked like a disaster. Three hours later the house looked like a different place. It was a showcase and ready to be sold. All the carpets and stairs looked pristine. We closed the door and took a flight to NC the next day relieved that we had chosen Voorhies Cleaning Systems.

Exactly as expected and in less time. Also the floors dried in just a few hours.

Prompt in returning phone calls, showing up on time and did a great job cleaning the carpets. He took about an hour and a half and was very professional.

Seven year old carpet, two small children - very messy work. We found Voorhies on Angie's List and liked what we read about the company. We also liked that they used green products. Called Monday and reached Jeff (the owner). He was very helpful on the phone, explaining what they do for the cleaning, costs, etc. He was able to work with us on scheduling a time for the cleaning. Jeff and his crew arrived on schedule and did an excellent job. First, he walked the house with me to clarify what rooms/areas to clean, to point out any stains, etc. Once that was all taken care of they got to work immediately. Everyone was very professional and they worked quickly. After finishing one area they put out a large fan to help dry the carpets. They put the furniture up on little foam blocks to protect the wood while the carpet dried. We had a couple of stains that previous cleaners could not get out but Voorhies Cleaning Systems got them out. The carpets look great! Jeff called the day after the cleaning to check in and see how the carpets looked, how they dried, make sure we were happy with their work. We are and will be calling them back in the future (again, two small kids...).

Jeff looked over the areas to be cleaned, explained his cleaning process and that he wouldn't move certain items like china cabinets, etc. He completed the cleaning in the two hours that he had estimated and put a large fan on one area to help with the drying process while working on the next area. The carpet was dry within eight hours and looks very nice.

All went well. Jeff was a very personable guy and checked in with me by phone as to when he would be returning the rug. The rug looks clean and bright again. I would recommend him to anyone.

Located through Angie's List. Emailed requesting quote. Replied in 24 hours. Called to retain services. Made appointment for following week. Arrived on time. We reviewed work to be done, particularly noticeably soiled spots. Mr. Voorhies set about doing the cleaning. The process took about 1 1/2 hours. He was neat, thorough and professional. Based on my experience, I can highly recommend Mr. Voorhies and would use him again. Thank you.

We hired a carpet cleaner to clean all the carpets in our home. In our family room, once we removed our couch and love seat, we realized we had about a 15 foot dark brown walking path stain that was caused by scooting in front of our love seat and scooting in front of our couch. It had not been that noticeable when the furniture was there. We were getting new furniture which would be placed in a position that made this large stain very visible. Our carpet cleaner tried to remove it with no luck. He told us it was permanent. We intended to spend $1,000 to re-carpet the room. I ended up being referred to Jeff by another carpet company and he came out and looked at it. He said it WOULD come out. He cleaned it up and there is NO stain anymore! He saved us from spending $1,000 to replace the carpet. He charged $50. I offered to pay him more but he said $50 was a fair price for the work he did. He's a super nice guy, very honest and very good at his work!
