Maid 2 Order

Original time set to begin was 8 AM, I called the day before to confirm, she had to change it to 9 AM, she arrived at 9:15. She had 2 bedrooms,a hallway, 1 DR, 1 FM RM 2 baths & kitchen to clean. She said she steamed cleaned wood floors - I thought that was great. I had to leave due to other appts before she finished so was not able to check work at that time. Upon my return home, I discovered that there were still crumbs under the dishwasher (wood floors in kitchen) dusty areas in corner of kitchen floors, therefore it had not been thoroughly cleaned or thoroughly steamed because it would not have had untouched areas on the kitchen floor. One bathroom the light fixtures were left dusty, and then the staircase at the entry was not touched, the iron spindles were not dusted nor the hardwood floor cleaned or dusted between the spindles. I will need to go back to do myself. I did tell Amanda that I always expect a paid service to do a better cleaning than I do, in 4 hours those areas would not have been missed by me. And this was not a deep cleaning request just a basic cleaning of the main floor. Not a good first impression. I was hoping to find a regular cleaning service, unfortunately did not happen. This is one of the reasons I joined Angie's List, was because of the reputation of the people on the site. Disappointing all the way around. I feel I need to clean the house again.

I pointed out several areas in my home that needed extra attention and they were addressed properly. I have hired them to do a monthly cleaning for me.

Amanda was great at working out a schedule around our family, work and school stuff. My kitchen cupboards have never looked better! I didn't care for the smell of the product that they used and there was a miscommunication about the basement...never let a 16- year old be an overseer. Great job!

They called me to schedule within a day of my purchase and had me on the calendar within 10 days. They came as a team and seemed to work well together. Very friendly and detailed.

They were professional and did an okay job.

I contacted Amanda after my purchase on Angie's list. They were able to schedule the work within a few days. Everything went fine I was completely happy.

We had a pleasant and informative discussion. I decided not to have it done, but based on the other work they have done for me, I believe they would have done an excellent job at a reasonable price.

They were personable and nice to work with...

The house cleaner arrived on time - originally, it was supposed to be 2 cleaners for 2 hours, but the business owner had a sick child - so I had one woman for four hours. She was friendly and got right to work. She cleaned the floors - she used a nice steam cleaner on my kitchen floor - vacuumed, dusted, cleaned the bathrooms, cleaned the kitchen counter and appliances, etc. All the "basics" were covered. When she was finished, she asked me to look around to see if she had missed anything - I appreciated that. My only complaint is that she was obviously a smoker - although she did not smoke in the house, I did notice the odor after she left. If you are sensitive to smoke, you might want to request that a non-smoker clean your house.

They moved stuff around they weren?t supposed to in my wife?s room. I called them, and they said they found glass from a picture frame and a state fair under the desk and they put it in the trash. They weren?t supposed to rearrange things in my wife?s room. They should have told us and kept us informed. They were talking loudly while my wife was on the phone. I asked them not to talk so loud, but they kept talking loudly and were boisterous. After the third time I asked, they did keep their voices down. They asked if I wanted them to leave, and I said no just do your job. I didn?t like their attitude. They did clean some things well though. They had a hard time cleaning some things up, and they let us know what they used and where they got the cleaning supplies. Angie?s List didn?t tell me they would be sending 2 people who work 3 hours each. I thought it would be 1 person working 6 hours. They worked from 10am to 1pm.

They were there on time and did what they said they would do. I think my house is just two big and probably needed twice as much time. No complaints.

The first time, I asked them to clean the sides and tops of all surfaces in the kitchen, which they did. They cleared off all counter-tops, moved all movable appliances, took down wall plaques, cleaned the top of the fridge and the stove, Cleaned ledges and nooks and crannies. They were great. The second time, they cleaned a basement area that had been meant by the original owners to be habitable -- at least for a party -- and contains a bar and fireplace, paneled walls and tiled floor. But it had been used for years as nothing but a place to stash whatever we didn't need upstairs. Also my husband had at one time put a "studio" down there for his photography, which he does not do any longer. It was cluttered and dusty and disorganized and neglected and full of junk. The studio equipment had already been hauled away by a photographer friend. But much MUCH junk and debris and detritus was left. They tackled it with a friendly "we're here to help" attitude and cleaned it to a fair-thee-well. In addition, they hauled a pickup-truck-load of stuff away. I have engaged them again to clean the *other* half of the basement and, on another date, to tackle the garage. Hooray!

sweeping, mopping, washed glass doors, cleaned showers, bathrooms. dusted all wall fistures and cleaned the kitchen .

Did a nice job. I'd use them again.

I purchased a big deal for 4 hours of house cleaning for $79 as a birthday present for my wife. I initially scheduled housecleaning on January 31st at 1pm. At Noon, Amanda called and said she needed to cancel because her team was on the other side of town and was concerned about the changing weather and poor driving conditions. I stated there was no snow or ice in my neighborhood and since I had taken time off work I would like to get the cleaning service done if possible. However, I also stressed that if weather was an issue to just contact me and we would reschedule. Amanda said the team would be late but she would call me if they needed to cancel. At 3:30 I called to check on the team and left a message and asked Amanda to call back to reschedule. I received no response. I sent Maid 2 Order an email through Angies List on February 6th asking Amanda to contact me to reschedule. I received no response. On February 12th, I called and reached Amanda. She apologized for not responding because of a family medical emergency and indicated she was not aware the cleaning team had not been to my house on January 31st. We rescheduled for February 21st. On February 21st at approximately noon, I received a call from Amanda, she needed to cancel my appointment because her team was over booked. I stated I had taken time off work again to be at the house to meet her cleaning team and did not want to reschedule. Amanda stated it was difficult for her to schedule because I only asked for Friday appointments. At this point I did not want to reschedule and requested a refund. I can't rate the quality of service provided by Maid 2 Order as no cleaning was done at my house. So my review is based entirely on my general customer service experience when contacting, scheduling and interacting with Maid 2 Order. I felt the responses to my email and voice mails was poor and not timely. My appointments were cancelled because of poor scheduling of the cleaning teams by Maid 2 Order staff. I stated the inconvenience to me of cancelling these scheduled appointment when I had taken time off work; there was no apology, acknowledgement of fault or any offer to correct the issue or compensate me for my lost time. Overall my experience with Maid 2 Order was very frustrating. What should have been a wonderful surprise for my wife turned into a disappointment.

It turned out really good. They were great and they did a great job.

Both home cleanings have been thorough and efficient. The people who came were friendly and up front about all costs and duties performed. They have been wonderful! As a result, we will *definitely* be utilizing their services consistently.

The sinks were barely touched and cobwebs were still hanging from the ceiling. Obviously never looked overhead. The three ladies seemed pleasant and did keep busy but not as good as previous service. Joe Meditz

Cleaning was good. Did drop a grate and scratch a wall but was repaired.

It was very good. I was very happy. She did a very good job. She was professional. She squeezed a lot of cleaning in the four hours so I have nothing but good things to say about her and her business.

overall they did a good jog. Some spots were missed when dusting. They were running late and there was no phone call. I ended up calling them. Overall i was please with the work that was done.

They did a great job and if they had more time they would have done a lot more of the house. I would hire them to come to clean my house again.

Had them out to clean the windows. A gentleman came out and did a great job washed widows and screens.

Amanda was late and did not call to let me know! When they arrived they were great! I was very pleased with their work. I would use them again.
