Everything went well, and they did the work as requested. They met our needs and provided good advice, too.

Very nice man, but I thought the drawing would be much better than it was. Less than creative and done by hand, looked like it was thrown together. Did not have much in the way of suggestions for a plan to make the yard look nice. Disappointing.

They came out promptly to estimate and when I gave the go ahead did the work within a couple of days. The grass came in thick and healthy and looks very nice. They also did a lawn treatment for about $60.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon from them. It went fine. They were prompt and courteous. They seem to be dependable.

The crew was unable to obtain the sod needed so it was agreed to complete the sod and move bushes in the spring. When I called in the spring none of the original people I had dealt with remained with the company and the company refused to complete the work as agreed, even though they could have easily verified by contacting the original crew foreman.

They are very professional and customer orientated. Very timely and helpful. They do a good job of educating their customers about lawn care.

Not well. They did not do a good job when they came out and it was hard to get them back to do the job right.

They were satisfactory. They gave me a proposal but I decided to do it myself. They were timely in coming out and doing it and they were also timely in getting a proposal back to me. It was well thought out and documented and so forth but it was just something that I didn't want to use.

Got a simple landscape plan with some straightforward planting plans and plat selections. Not terribly impressive, but the company's follow-through after I expressed my disappointments was really first-rate. They clearly care about their reputation and the service they provide their customers. I'd be willing to give them a try in the future if I need planting or landscaping services. For design services, I'll need to go elsewhere.

Everything went well. It was raining a lot so at first it was hard to schedule.

Had an issue with them trying to rush mulching between snow storms. I felt as if they did a cursory job and not exactly what I had requested, so the manager had the crew come back out to complete the work properly and they did an outstanding job. Very satisfied with the results.

Custom did a satisfactory job. Regular maintenance went fine although pricing somewhat high (now that I have done some comparison shopping). Company rep (whose name I forget) worked at maintaining communication. Received 3 different price quotations for the September rehab that I had done; the original quote was the least expensive and was the price ultimately honored when I repeatedly reminded them of it. Also I made the mistake of assuming that an area of perhaps 150 square feet that I cleared the weekend before the fall rehab would be included in that rehab; it was not. I should have contacted Custom myself but I also believe they should have checked with me to see whether I wanted it included (and the price adjusted accordingly). With so many capable companies to choose from, I'll try some others before considering Custom again.

I started using them when we moved into the area. When we wanted to add landscaping to our yard, they provided it. The turnover with the personnel has been substantial with 3 landscape managers in 5 years, 2 sprinkler managers. The last landscape manager was did an unacceptable job & I had so many problems with the billing that I "fired" them. I was called and asked to reconsider & did so after I put forth some demands. My yard was re-landscaped this year after they brought in a consultant and someone to oversee the work. My yard looks much better and the work was more acceptable but I still feel like another company might get work done without all the hassle. The price they quoted me this year to do some of the things that they have done in the past was entirely too high and I have elected to do it myself. I am staying with them in case some of my new plants don't make it, in order to have them replace them if necessary. They have been much more responsive to my needs lately, but I had to go through too much to get to that point.

worker was prompt, polite & offered good suggestions about landscaping options w/planting recommendations & estimates depending on options chosen.

They provided a landscape sketch for our backyard along with a cost proposal breakdown of plants/flowers to use. They also gave us several colored pictures of plants/flowers to use which was extremely helpful. We bought our own shrubs and planted them ourselves, but his suggestions were key to how it all turned out.

The architect, Kyle, was very professional and more importantly, asked me what I wanted and what my plans for the yard were before designing anything. He asked a lot of questions and gave me some ideas but was more interested in my viewpoint of whatt I wanted my yard to be like. The design came in just a few days and he also sent me all the pictures he took so that I could have something to look back on to see how bad the place looked when I eventually get finished with the project. It was a really great experience and I got a lot of great ideas for things I had never thought of prior to meeting with him.

I explained what I hoped to see incorporated in the landscape design. What I received was a list of generic plants, e.g., azaleas. The design did not incorporate any of the features I had discussed. No specific color or names of shrubs. The plan appeared to be generic just a grouping of plants along the fences. No patio, no gardens, no seasonal planting, no planting for shade or sunny areas, just azaleas as I recall. Quite disappointed. Requested more information after receipt and none was provided.

Nice folks, showed up on time. Got a pencil drawing on the spot that I could have done myself; design was totally lacking in creativity.

I did not end up using this service just because I had already signed up with someone else. However, the estimate was provided timely and I liked that they had a three step plan for leaf removal. As we all know the leaves keep coming!

After I described what I wanted, they seemed to understand. They came out and discussed the types of plants, and she corrected the drawing to include the ones I liked. It took several attempts at contacting them to have them get back to me, but it was the sub contractor that was difficult to get scheduled. Once he got out here and was done with his portion of the work everything went smoothly.

They did a good job. Their sale rep was really friendly. Overall I think the experience was positive. The price was good. As regards punctuality, they weren’t on time with a couple of times. One of their strength is customer service. They are very friendly. They made a few mistakes along the way, but overall it was a pleasant experience because they really wanted to correct their mistakes.

I chose to not have them come out and do an estimate.

Within a few days of my call to schedule service the service was completed.

Overall, it worked out great. They were flexible in scheduling around my schedule, showed up right on time and did as good of a job as I could've hoped (nothing glamorous about leaf pick up). I just moved here from Ohio where you just rake your leaves out to the curb and they're picked up by the city, so I was somewhat perplexed as to how I was going to get rid of the leaves. This worked out great and at a fairly reasonable price (no idea what proportion of my taxes went to leaf pickup in Ohio).
