Brogan Painting & Remodeling

Mr Brogan was always on time for every meeting and very helpful in getting multiple paint samples and making recommendations on paint colors. They were on time every day, and were very careful of the flower beds and deck furniture. It took a whole week for them to powerwash, scrape, and seal the house before paiting even began. Weather delayed them for a few days, but I was really happy they were taking their time to prep everything since that will help the new paint last longer. They were very accomadating when I changed my mind on the accent color for the front door and shutters, and Yancy (project manager) even came by and re-did the front door and shutters late one evening. All-in-all I was very pleased with everything, the colors, the work and the price.

We are delighted with all the work that has been performed on the house. We simply could not be happier with the results -- they are excellent. Brogan's provided us an initial detailed quote for carpentry repairs and a separate detailed quote for the painting. The carpentry repairs were itemized by area of the home and what was to be done. Brogan's has an extensive team of carpenters, including framers and former builders on their team. On the northwest corner of our home, it was determined by one of their team that water damage was happening due to interior vertical wood supports not extending down far enough from the 2nd story. Their carpenters determined a fix, which they implemented without removing the siding on the house. They also used 'FiberCrete' siding to replace water damaged siding on the East, West and South of the home as needed. They also completely replaced the entire back door and it's casing, spent numerous hours getting an exact fit, and then installed an exterior storm door as well. The results of the carpentry are just outstanding!! The new back door is wonderful! What I liked best of all is they brought numerous carpenters and they were all over the house fixing what had gone bad. They came in with the carpenters, got the job done in under a week, so that the home could be painted. They kept me informed of what additionally came up that would need repair that could not be seen until bad areas were investigated. On the painting, Brogan's painting team came in as the carpenters were finishing, caulked every single bat and board on the house. I understood it took 5 cases of caulk to do this. They sanded and primed, and then sprayed two coats of paint (one on Saturday and one on Monday), and they also did the trim painting on Monday. My wife wanted particular colors of paint, and Brogan's bent over backwards to make sure she had the colors she wanted to pick from and it was exactly what she wanted. My wife has commented that the exterior looks like a new home. She ought to know, she used to sell homes years ago for a builder. Start to finish, Brogan's started on Monday and finished everything by the next Tuesday. There was rain on Thursday or they would have been done a day earlier. To get this amount of work done in this time frame is exceptional! I also want to take a moment to comment on Aaron Brogan, the Owner, and John Buschmann, Supervisor, for our home. We asked Aaron to act as a general contractor on the guttering and find us someone who could do this that they trusted. (Our old guttering was leaking and needed replacement.) Aaron did, and the day after the painting was completed, the new guttering was installed. I am delighted with Aaron doing this for us as we knew nothing about guttering. By the way, the guttering looks wonderful. John Buschmann was the supervisor for the work done on our home. He worked tirelessly to make sure we were happy with what was being done, kept us informed and updated, and is very personable and easy to work with. The last day, John finished the install of the new storm door, stained the new step to the back door, and caulked the gap between the concrete patio and the siding. I simply can not say enough about these people and this company. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They have done at least four houses in our neighborhood that I am aware of this summer. They are thorough, they are professional, they are responsive, and they get the job done. I would recommend them and would suggest you check them out if your home needs extensive wood rot, siding repair, and painting -- or if you need less extensive repairs. They have the resources to make all this happen. They are just excellent!!

Workers were very friendly and careful. Made sure that all wood rot was taken care of. Painted house and front doors. Very thorough and followed through with all clean-up and debris removal. Powerwashed the deck, replaced some wood, and sealed to make it look like a new deck.

I had John Buschmann as the lead guy and my contact. He and his team did an excellent job! They did the job in just 3 days. John had made the most detailed listing of all wood rot they were taking care of. We went over it at the end of that phase, and all was done, and MORE! The workers seemed very professional. I never saw anyone not working. They were a heads down work hard group. They didn't need much instruction at all. Everyone knew what they had to do. They were fast and did a great job.

Fabulous painting company. Highly recommend. Dependable, very organized and efficient in their work and division of labor. Very neat. Men are very polite and nice and the painting is first rate.

Aaron was great! He was very prompt with appts and getting us an estimate. He was even able to start our job earlier than expected. His crew was great and cleaned up each day and our house looks awesome. We get compliments on it all the time.

He was helpful and honest when we were making decisions about paint colors and trim details. He checked in on the job often and asked us how everything was going. The crew was great. They are true craftsmen who care about the quality and neatness of their work. They were helpful, pleasant, and hard-working. They were careful with our property and cleaned up after themselves. The job was completed in just a few days. Their pricing was in line with other contractors and they provided an Angie's List discount. We are very happy with the end result (that means a lot coming from very detail-oriented customers)! Brogan's Painting also does interior painting and remodeling, so we plan to give them a call if we need this type of work done in the future.

Aaron's crew came in and made it beautiful again. All the damaged walls and doors were repaired and either painted white or stained a lovely dark stain. My neighbors saw the before and after and are amazed. The crew were professional and such good guys. They helped make an ordeal bearable. Our house sold within 24 hours.

First off, John came and gave us the estimate. We had a lot of work to do, he came on a Thursday and had the estimate ready by the following Monday. John came by personally and walked me through the details of the estimate, he was very thorough. Their estimate came in not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but I felt he understood exactly what I needed to have done. When I accepted the bid from John they were scheduling about 2 to 3 weeks out depending on the cooperation of the weather. He said he would call as the date got closer. Week 2 (Easter weekend approaching) John called and asked if they could start this weekend, I said sure and they started on a Thursday. They power washed the entire house. Then they removed all of the old wood, replaced it all, then caulked the entire house. They worked on Saturday got the wood rot repaired and ready for paint to start on Monday. We painted the house the same color, they recommended we go with the cheaper paint because the more expensive paint didnt last as long, I am glad we did it looks much better than the last time we painted it. They did a good job of cleaning up the work site once they were done. They did a great job masking off areas where they didnt want paint to get to, deck, fixtures, etc. There was one issue where one of the workman tracked some caulk on to my deck but they took care of it by power washing the deck once it was done. The finished product looks great! The smart trim covering the seams looks like it has always been there. The paint job looks great, appears like a new house.

My wife and I bought a new house that had wood rot damage on the outside and was really dated on the inside. Brogan did a great job fixing the exterior wood rot and an even better job on the interior painting. We had Brogan paint the entire main floor of the house, add crown molding to the kitchen and strip then paint the existing natural wood trim throughout the residence. The workers arrived in a timely fashion each day and cleaned up well at the end of the day. Aaron and the foreman were very helpful throughout the process and were good at explaining the timeframe for each step. We would highly recommend using Brogan.

I could not have asked for a better job.

I was told the man power washing the house would arrive at 9 am and it would take 2-3 hours. At 1:30 I called Brogan's and was told he would be at the house in an hour. He arrived at 3:30 started at 4pm and was finished by 5:15.

Liked price, estimator seemed to know a lot about what needed to be done. I was uncomfortable about having to correct the estimator about how much material was needed for the job. We went with another contractor, in hindsight Brogans might have done a better job.

Aaron Brogan is a very nice man who came to give a bid within hours of my phone call. We talked at length about the work to be done( replace wood siding,replace threshholds,replace rotted trim boards as needed). Prep,prime, and paint entire building. in 5 colors, using lead safe practices.( Aaron and his crew are certified in lead safe practices). At first I thought the bid was too high, but after considering the amount of work involved I went with Aaron even though he was not the low bidder. Also his bid was more complete and detailed then others. The work was done very well. The crew ( mostly Hispanic) was neat and cleaned up the job site well. Clearfield schoolI made a few minor changes that Aaron was happy to make. Overall I was well pleased with the job.

We were very pleased with the service Aaron Brogan's Painting provided. We got 3 bids and Aaron was the most thorough in evaluating what needed to be done. The cost was more than we expected but we didn't know how long it had been since the previous owners had the house painted and it was obvious that there was much to be done. There was a good deal of wood rot that had to be replaced, much of it not realized until the workers were in the midst of preparing the house. I know enough about painting to know that the prep work is the most important part. They were thorough in scraping, priming and caulking. The only negative was they didn't cover our plants and bushes. I discussed this with Aaron and hopefully they have added that to the prep work. The crew of workers were professional and kind and really did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this company.

We have used them quite a bit with our home remodeling. They are doing interior painting for us. They do very nice work and they are careful about not getting things messed up either. Aaron is the owner and we really like one of his employees Juan and he was a delight to work with. They also have done a lot of work in our house. They did some exterior repair on a chimney too that had wood rotted and they were great with that.

Great! Aaron and his team were a pleasure to work with. While they may not have been the lowest bid, they were competitive and have been among the best that I have worked with. They do what they promise and deliver when promised. The entire team was courteous and they cleaned up after their work. While painting was my biggest need, I appreciate and took advantage of the fact that Aaron also has a great carpentry team that can take on any number of other repairs and maintenance work on a home. I look forward to working with Aaron and his team in the future.

The service turned out well. They did good work and they did the work within two days and came back on a third day to do touch up work. They matched a vent to the color as I live in a duplex.

All aspects of the work went extremely well. This is an extremely good contractor.

Brogan's Painting was professional, prompt, did a great job, and made an effort to ensure that their work met my expectations. I was surprised at how fast and efficient they were and how polite they were about anything that might be an inconvenience to our family, such as coming in and out of the house or finding the right paint for touch-ups.

Went awesome. Simply put, quality work was done. Took 3.5 days. No problems, house looks great. Already have had neighbors come ask for Brogan's phone number.

Everything went very well. The painters did an excellent job and were professional and polite. The only problem we encountered was having the painters return to complete some missed areas . . . which was approximately three to four weeks later. Other than that, great work!
