Brogan Painting & Remodeling

William came out to provide an estimate, he was very knowledgeable and professional. He answered all my questions and explained their process completely. I only had a picture of a house that was the color I wanted, the first day William showed up with several color samples and once I chose one he painted a little on so I could be sure. The work crew was very polite and professional. They started with all the wood repair, explaining what they were doing all along the way. They did very thorough prep before starting to paint, scraping and caulking in spots I hadn't even noticed. William checked in with me each day to keep me informed of their progress and plans and answered any questions I had. I was very impress by the level of customer service and professionalism. They did a great job on my house, everyone comments on how good it looks. I will definitely hire them again and recommend them highly!

It went well, however they were supposed to come back and repair, power wash and stain our fence and touch up a few places they missed on the deck. They set up an appointment and then called me before the day and asked to postpone because of rain. It rained for several days and all their jobs got behind. I agreed to postpone and have not heard from them since. That was back in May The project manager was a great guy and the workers were real pleasant and very punctual. I had the project managers cell phone number and we called and texted each other quite a bit. For some reason all the old text messages are gone from my phone. I never delete them. However, the communications were great during the job. I would use them again, however, probably not until next year. Strange that I've never heard from any other Brogan representatives.

The team did a great job and was very courteous and respectful. I had extensive wood rot which they repaired. They then power washed and painted the entire exterior. They cleaned up any messes before leaving. I was pleased with their work. Brogan's estimate came in below one provider and slightly higher than another, although John Buschmann (from Brogan) walked around the entire house with me and explained what Brogan's team would do. Approximately half the cost was the wood rot repair. The higher estimate from another provider didn't even take the time to meet with me to explain his estimate, so John's customer service and estimate won the deal. In addition, Robin Thomas helped me try out several paint colors in advance of the project, even coming out to paint samples so I can see how it would look.

It all turned out wonderful. Great crew. I would recommend them.

I needed a painter to paint my acrylic stucco home. Nick did the estimate and listened to my concerns. They perfectly matched our existing colors to a Sherwin Williams colors. Our home now looks excellent, due to the quality job from Brogan and the correct type of Sherwin Williams paint. Best painter that I've hired in Johnson County.

The estimator was great and though the price was probably higher, I was ok because I specifically said no paint on the screens and it was a relatively small job. Having worked in the construction industry I understood the economics. The bid was written up specifically regarding no paint on the screens. When the guys showed up I thought the would cover the screens but they didn't and paint did get on the screens. I hadn't paid a dime so far so I wasn't concerned. I called them up and the guy who bid the job came out and I showed him the places where the paint was. He said they would schedule some one to come out and clean the screens. The owner also came out and a few days later a guy showed up, I showed him all the places I had found and he cleaned the paint off and found a few places I had not seen. The reason for the B rating on price and quality was....yea, I would liked the price lower but I was "B" satisfied with it. As for the quality...yea, after all was said and done I think they should have covered the screens but they made it right and were great about it. These people are wonderful from the reception to the painters.

Overall I think I got a decent paint job and I believe the repairs were done correctly. I am also happy with the communication and attention from the project manager. However, the prep work was sloppy and required me having to do some of the caulking myself after missed spots were not addressed even after pointing it out twice, trash was left in my yard, razor blades left out, they used my tools because they were missing things, downspouts/runouts were stepped on and crushed and not painted, I never knew if or when they would show up each day, a window was broken (the project manager took care of getting this fixed quickly), and painted half of my garden hose.

EXCELLENT!!!! We are so pleased with the job that Brogan Painting & Remodeling did for us! From the beginning, John Buschmann was attentive to our needs & provided an estimate in a very timely manner. He visited our job site several times a day, promptly answered any questions, and provided immediate service. Juan, the lead painter, was great. He and the other painters were neat, courteous, respectful of our property, and more than willing to do what we asked of them. They worked continuously each day that they were on the job; left our property neat and clean each day, and they were very careful around our extensively landscaped yard so not to cause harm. The entire job took much less time than we anticipated, and was done in a manner far superior to any painting job that we've had in the 26 years we've lived here! We will hire Brogan Painting & Remodeling again in a heartbeat! The price was reasonable; the estimate detailed, line item for item; the time the job took very reasonable, even with the spring rains we received. My husband and I consider ourselves very particular, and Brogan Painting & Remodeling exceeded our expectations!

Contractor did an excellent job. Stucco repair was well done. I was kept informed of the timing of the project. Contractor seemed to care about a job well done.

We couldn't be happier with the attention to detail and quality of work done. They had a large crew so it only took 2 1/2 days from start to finish. My primary concern was the dry rot repair. They took care of all the rot I could see plus more. They added trim on all the freeze bands and at the base of the siding. It added several hundred dollars to the cost but it really improved the look of the house and provides additional protection of those area. Well worth the additional cost. We highly recommend them.

They made it very easy and worked around my busy travel schedule.

We had an appointment scheduled for an estimate. They did not show or call to let us know they were unable to make it. Their office couldn't provide a reason for the no-show. After I called the office, the project manager did call to apologize.

We had an 8:30am appt at our home in Lee's Summit and took time off work to meet Brogan. At 8:40 they had not shown up so I called their office. They tracked down their employee and said he parked in a garage downtown but wasn't able to get his car out of the garage, and needed to cancel. Based on distance & morning rush hour their employee should have known before 8am that he wasn't going to make it, but...just didn't tell anyone? I asked if we could book a Saturday or 5:30pm appt to reschedule, and the manager said they didn't offer Saturdays or after-hours. I asked if an exception could be made as I didn't think it was right to expect me to take time off work again. They said they would talk to the owner & call me back, which they never did.

Very, very pleased with Brogan , Nick Newton, and the entire team. It has been way too long since my house was painted, as such there was quite a bit of wood rot/siding issues that needed to be fixed. I'm an obsessive researcher and over-thinker. Brogan was one of 5 or 6 bids on my house. Some of the most referred companies' bids were sky high. Other bids were too low, where I didn't feel like they would be doing the best job possible. The Brogan bid came right in the middle. Cheaper than others, but detailed enough that I knew they were going to do a great job. Nick made me feel comfortable as soon as we started the process. He was thorough and asked me a bunch of questions. He also patiently answered all of mine during the initial bid and throughout the process. Once they actually started, I can't say enough. The crew- from carpenters to painters were all SUPER friendly and engaging. During the 3 day process, the house was swarming with workers and they were all great. Like the nicest contracting crew I've ever met. I have two toddlers and they were obsessed with the guys. Nick contacted me several times throughout the process with additional questions/concerns that they noticed while fixing it up. They adjusted on the fly. Pretty sure I saw the owner over several times checking in on the progress. Finally, the house looks better than I could have expected. A totally new home. Thanks to all. Really thrilled. I can't imagine another company being a better choice. Adding in the very reasonable bid, Brogan can't be beat!

They were very professional, on time and exceeded my quality expectations.

While they were not the cheapest bid I received, I chose them for 3 reasons: 1 - Positive reviews on Angies List (and that means a lot to me) 2 - They could do it all -- wood rot repair, painting, window replacement which meant that one company was accountable for the entire project and I wasn't dealing with multiple companies. 3 - Joe Matthews - When Joe came out to bid the job, he convinced me that Brogan Painting & Remodeling would do a quality job and not leave until I was totally satisfied with the work. The job went very well. Brogan Painting and Remodeling have employees that are professional, considerate, capable and hard working. I was amazed at the size of the various crews that they sent out. They each seemed to focus on a specific area. Ramon was the lead for the painters and did a fantastic job. He asked me more than once if I was happy with the work and if there was anything that I wanted done or changed. He immediately dealt with anything I mentioned. I know how hard it is to paint trim -- it is perfect! Aaron finished up the windows and he, also, wanted to ensure that I was satisfied with the work. The windows were a challenge due to the original framing not being perfect but they worked diligently and the windows look great. They also had to deal with the challenge of re-hanging my blinds and drapes to accommodate the new windows but Aaron was successful. The crew cleaned up every day. On the last day, not only did they clean up everything but neatly stacked the extra paint in my garage. You would not know so many men were working on this house -- no debris whatsoever. Joe was the catalyst of the group. He was here the first day and periodically throughout the project, ensured the crew was focused on the jobs of the day, and when the job was completed, told me to call him if I noticed anything else and he'd be back. He wanted to ensure my total satisfaction with Brogan Painting. I'm very happy with the final results -- would highly recommend the company. They do quality work with a quality group of employees.

We obtained 3 estimates, and Brogan Painting and Remodeling came in a few thousand dollars less than anyone else. They did a thorough job with wood rot repair on both the house and barn, and accepted our decision when we didn't feel repair of a few areas was worth the expense. following the repair, the painting crew came in, and did a great job. Nearly 2 months later, we noticed one set of windows on the third flood wouldn't open. they were over in two days to quickly remedy the situation.

Nick was the project manager. He and the guys were all great. They showed up on time and were extremely professional. You could tell that they took the time to make sure the job was done well, but they also had a system and worked efficiently. They painted the cabinets in a very large kitchen, painted all of the wood on the first floor to a white color, and painted the walls as well. Everything came out absolutely fantastic. I had gotten several bids and they were priced well for very quality work. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent! John Buschmann provided an detailed estimate, and all work was performed exactly as bid ... no surprises. The siding and wood rot repairs resulted in a huge improvement to the exterior of my home. Brogan's crews were hard-working and professional, and work was completed on time and on budget. Paint work was high quality as well. I highly recommend Brogan Painting & Remodeling.

They are very professional. Each day, at the end of the day, they cleaned up the yard. The timing worked out perfect with the painting, and adding the rock. My house is beautiful. We have hired Aaron Brogan with Brogan Painting and remodeling for several projects and they are the only company we use for painting and remodeling.

Delighted with the responsiveness of the team. Work was done quickly with plenty of help. Both construction and painting lead men were helpful and anxious to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Aaron Brogan was always responsive and had a lot of great ideas on how to update the rooms. Looks great!
