We bought a deal on Angie's list for $100 for $150 credit on their mold mitigation service. They called the same day to schedule a time to look at our situation. Kent came and looked things over. We were given an estimate and told how to prepare for their coming. Once we were prepared, they came out and treated the basement. They spent a day cleaning every bit of the basement and left their air scrubber for 2 days to make sure the air was cleared of all the mold. We were very pleased with every aspect of their service.

They were punctual, fast, very clean on the repair, and very polite and helpful. I recommend them without restrictions.

It was an amazing experience. Mike, and his team, were all so friendly and amazing. We could not have asked for a better experience and actually have them bidding another job for us.

Response from my initial call for an estimate was almost immediate. Chris came out the same day of my call to provide an estimate. He was very professional thru the entire process. The work crew came out later that afternoon to start the process. Chris would periodically schedule to come by and check on the status and progress of the demolition, extraction and drying. The crews that pulled up the carpet and removed the baseboards to start the extraction were in quite a hurry. Work was somewhat careless and the crew appeared to take shortcuts. I had several baseboards that were cracked or damaged in several places. Several closet doors were not removed when pulling up the carpet so they just cut and ripped the carpet instead. Damages occurred at various stages of the project. The crew did not take the appropriate measures or steps to perform the work carefully.

They were absolutely great! I knew I had a unhealthy situation in the house and was having trouble finding someone to take care of the problem. It was a matter of "call, leave a message and we'll call you back". That was until I called Certified Water & Mold. I called, was connected to Mike in less than 5 minutes, and he said he'd be out in a couple of hours to evaluate the situation. He arrived about 2:30 on Thursday, the 2 man crew arrived Friday at 1:30, and the job was done by 3pm. I hope I never have to use them again, but if I do, they will be my first call. Fast, professional, and a great company.

They came to test the moisture levels in walls due to a plumbing leak and found high levels of moisture. I submitted my request on a Friday evening, and they actually where on-site that weekend to to the testing. Crew was on site the following Monday to begin the process of placing fans and a dehumidifier to address the problem. Process ran for 5 days and was successful in reducing the moisture levels to acceptable. All personnel were very professional and prompt. Only issue was the plastic wall barrier to contain the equipment came down a few times and had to be put back up. After seeing the work - placing holes in the ceiling and walls, which I still have to repair, and placing fans/dehumidifier in place; the price seems a little high for their on-site time investment of 1-1/2 hours. Overall - great responsiveness, professional, and addressed the problem.

Kent showed up on time and gave a bid on the spot. He explained exactly what they would do and not do. The installers were friendly and answered my questions. Chris was nice enough to come out early and remove the equipment so we could get going with clean up and other repairs.

Needed an estimate on mold removal for the basement and a room on the main level. Without even testing some walls or air quality, it was recommended that every single wall in the basement be removed despite it being said that wood doesn't absorb moisture as well as drywall which part of the basement is real wood paneling. This left me with a very uneasy feeling given that this is my 3rd estimate on mold removal I've had and the other companies did a much more extensive job on locating mold in the house. I will not being using the company and plan to go with the one that did a much more thorough job on evaluating the problem.

What I liked about working with this company was that they didn't find mold! YAY! Well, they found a little mold, but they were honest about the whether or not the remediation process was necessary. (it wasn't).

The came in and completely tore apart our basement so fast, we didn't have time to change our minds! lol! Mike called me as soon as they ran into surprises and let me know what the additional work would cost. I was so please with him, and all the workers. I trusted them in my home, and I would definitely hire them again. I'm really glad I didn't hire the unknown company... who knows what result I would have gotten. I can't say enough great things about Mike & his team. They were all awesome. I'd come home a little early and they would be dripping in sweat on their way out, they really worked hard, and I truly appreciated their speed and thorough work.

Mike, Kent and their team did a super job. The first estimate I had gotten wanted to totally tear apart the vanity, possibly cracking the granite top. Their estimate was more than twice what Certified quoted. I had used Cerified last year when I had mold on the insulation in my basement, and I knew they were reliable. My mold problem was caused by a faulty valve under a sink, and Certified replaced it at no charge, thus saving me a costly plumber's charge. I would definitely use them again, though I hope I don't have to.

Mike and his team were lifesavers! We discovered 4 inches of standing water in our basement on a Sunday afternoon over Memorial Day weekend. We called Certified Water & Mold and Mike was at our house within an hour. He and his team spent hours pumping the water out of the basement, removed all of the carpet and baseboards and left us with multiple industrial sized fans and de-humidifiers that ran for 3 days straight. They hauled away all of our damaged furniture and other property, and even made multiple trips over the next week to retrieve other items we decided were not salvageable. Mike also let us use his sump pump and hose for an entire week because the rain kept coming and we were worried the basement would flood again. I can't say enough good things about these guys - very professional and everyone was so nice throughout the process. The price was also reasonable in comparison to other companies we had called. I would definitely recommend Certified Water & Mold if you find yourself in this unfortunate situation!

These guys are great to have around in a bad situation. Basement flooded with heavy rains and everyone working for company was pleasant even though they had been working over 12 hours per day. Not sure why you would call anyone else, especially the national companies referred by insurance agents/companies. Those guys said it would be 2 or more days before they could make it and CWM was here in 1 hour!

Mike responded quickly and showed up when he said he would. He reviewed some areas in my house I had concerns with. He was honest, gave some great advice and left me with a strong sense of trust that he's the right guy I'd call if I need mold removal and cleaning.

My washer had a hose that leaked where is connected to the water supply in the wall. This is a second story laundry room that sits over the garage. I walked into the garage and saw a puddle of water on the floor. I immediately ran upstairs and found the source of the leak and shut the water off. I thad been leaking for almost 4 days. It soaked the wall and went down into the floor of the laundry room and the ceiling of the garage. I cut some holes in the wall in the laundry room and got a fan going right away. However, the sub floor, floor joists, insulation, and ceiling were all soaked. I do not have time to fix this myself. Mike came out the day after calling him. He gave me an accurate estimate on what it would cost to fix. His crew removed some drywall in the ceiling and pulled out all the old insulation. They left a fan blowing on it for about 4 days to ensure that everything was dry. They came back when they said they would to finish the fix. They re-stuffed it with the same type of insulation and patched the approx. 4'x4' hole they had cut in the ceiling. They did a great job from start to finish. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for this type of work needing to be done.

Everyone that worked with us was very professional and pleasant. They quoted fair prices and stuck to them (even after going above and beyond). Left the areas very clean and easy to come behind and remodel. Would recommend them.

The provider arrived exactly on time, and with a team did a complete and professional job of evaluating our home. While mold was not found, a large number of samples were taken and sent off for analysis. A few weeks later the complete written evaluation arrived just as promised. Interestingly, we were concerned that mold was causing my wife's migraines. The provided noted that our air cleaners were producing large quantities of ozone and that was know in cases to be the cause of migranes. Sure enough, when the units ozone features were turned off, the migraines stopped. Job Well Done.
