Went well. Paul did the work. He removed old ice-maker and showed it to me. Ugly. Replaced it but was surprised when it wouldn't draw water. Eventually replaced the pump serving the ice-maker; that was the key. It apparently was the pump that was actually broken but the 10-year old ice-maker was clearly due for replacement as well.

I called and described the problem I was having with my dishwasher. He knew exactly what was wrong and had to order a part. When the part came in, he called and let me know. I asked for a call 30 minutes before he got to my house, which he did. He showed up on time, and quickly fixed the problem. He was very nice, and gave me a couple of suggestions for other appliances.

I called Hull Lamar and described how my dryer was malfunctioning, that it was only heating part of the time so was not drying clothes most of the time. The repair man told me he thought he knew what the problem was, that he was in the area and would come right over to fix it. He arrived within 10 minutes and knew exactly what he was doing. He found the problem with the malfunctioning burner coils right away. He had the needed parts in his truck and had the dryer repaired and tested within 30 minutes. The price for this repair was very reasonable. I am sure it was exceptionable to get the repair made properly in such a short time. But I think it was a result of the expertise and experience of the friendly people at Hull Lamar, Inc. that it worked out so well. I have used this company for appliance repair before and most certainly will call them again when I need help. I could not be happier with their service.

This was the third appliance company I called looking to get an estimate for the repair on my refrigerator. The other two companies I contacted were both rated highly by Angie's List members, but I was unimpressed with their professionalism. I talked the gentleman at the 722.1700 number, and he was very helpful. I explained my problem, and he told me how to fix the problem with parts that I can order online. He let me know that the hoses that one of the other companies said I would need to replace didn't need to be. I appreciated his honesty and helpfulness. If I run into trouble in the future, I would definitely recommend Hull Lamar.

My dryer quit heating - tumbled, but no heat. He replaced the heating element in just a few short minutes and he also removed half of the expandable venting (which was kinked behind the dryer), explaining that the shorter, unkinked vent would help decrease drying time and increase the life of my new heating element. He also inspected the rigid vent to make sure it wasn't clogged. He was friendly, professional and gave me helpful suggestions to make my dryer more efficient. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to others.

Great!! He didn't want us to have to pay the cost of the service call, so gave us all of the helpful info over the phone. I will definitely hire him when we need this type of work again.

He came over and took the microwave down. He put it back and told me it is fixed. I was pretty happy until I found out the price was three times more than the service charge. He simply didn't bother to explain me the problem, give me an estimate. He just went ahead and fixed. When I asked him about this, he said the reason he didn't discuss any of that with me because I was busy with my children and he didn't want to bother me. I was furious. We eventually settled down a price that I could bear. However, the experience was bad.

It was a great experience. I called around 11:00 a.m. and by 2:00 he was at my house. He was very knowledgeable and quickly repaired my dishwasher. I was so pleased with the price as I've had dishwasher repairs in the past that were much more expensive. I'd give Hull Lamar an A+ if I could!!

Very prompt in returning phone call. Was able to come out the next day at a convenient time. The repair took 30 minutes. I will recommend and use this company again!

Called 10 minutes before arrival and showed up at 10 AM. Completed service and repair including replacing some electronic components, in about 30 minutes. Very professional. The owner did the service call, he and his son run the business that his father started in 1954. Good outfit. I was very pleased.

it went great?the technician knew just what to do?my contractor had just attached the wire to the wrong place. he was in our home less than 5 minutes, and the oven works fine again. the quote he gave us was right on?$85. I just think he should have cut us a break on that cost, considering how ridiculously small the job was. but it was his right to charge us what he said he would.

We called and within 30 mintues they showed up. They were polite and professional. The charge was very resonable.

They indicated to me that is too old for them to repair, however gave me some tips to get working again, which ended up working.

He discovered the problem and got the dryer running again. How long it will work is unknown. He recommended the best brands for my needs as I think getting a new one is more cost effective than repairing the old. He was very professional.

They were able to schedule someone to come out the vary day I first called. They came on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within a few minutes.

We attempted to get a microwave oven repaired. However they told us they were unable to obtain parts from the manufacturer. We received the same information from other sources and thus had to purchase a new oven.

I had a free 20 minute or so phone conversation regarding my Calypso as I'm somewhat experienced with it and it's difficulties, and he as very respectful and informative and offered all this information without even coming out, as the likelihood for it to be repaired was low. I took the gamble anyway and he spent over an hour here on it and then even hooked up a dryer for me. Also repaired a broken baffle in it without me even asking! So nice and so trustworthy. If all repair people were like this (cars, plumbers, etc.) we'd all be better off! Highly recommend them.

Well, I would recommend them. They came out when they said they would and they did a good job. I really liked them and I would use them again without question.

He came within 45 minutes of our call. He quickly determined the unit could not be repaired. He told us, in his opinion, the best place to go for a replacement. Because he could not fix the unit, he discounted his fee. We were extremely pleased with his service and help. We will definitely call him in the future and recommend him to all.

Excellent. We called on Friday morning, with no expectation that they would be able to come same-day or over the weekend, so it was not a big deal when the phone scheduler said it would be Monday. He did ask that if they happened to be in the area after 4 on Friday (when we could be available), would it be OK to call? Absolutely. And they did -- dryer was fixed in 30 minutes. Replaced thermostat and another part, plus cleaned out the exterior vent trap, which was partially blocked open, hampering the efficient operation of the dryer (above and beyond -- this vent is under our deck with difficult access -- he could have just told us it would be a good idea to check it). To top it off, the repairmen remembers previous repairs done for us on these machines and others. Extremely professional and helpful.
