I can't speak highly enough about this company. Dave Hull was recommended to me over 20 years ago and I haven't gone anywhere else since. He is honest, kind, and has always done A+ work and has gone above and beyond in some situations.

I thought he was really good. Very practical. Fixed the problem.

They are able to get to you very quickly and are reasonably priced. The technicians are knowledgeable, professional, friendly, prompt, and outgoing.

I have a 10-15 year old Maytag washing machine and it started making a horrendous noise mid-wash. Replaced the drain pump and I've gotten another 1.5 years out of it (so far)!

It went just great. The company helped us in a difficult situation and did so in a timely manner.

Fine. The technician suggested defrosting once again to see if the system would reset itself. We followed his suggestion and all has been well since then.

Called to repair 26 yr old dryer, found that a part was burnt out, replaced it & determined that it was overheating so he cleaned out a bunch of lint and determined that the vent hose was also full of lint. That was being replaced anyway because the Washer & Dryer were being moved. Looked at the washer in passing, identified an issue that I as vaguely aware of, explained it to me, fixed it and stuck a knob on the dial (which had been missing for years). All in under an hour. Very helpful advice too about the new ventilation for the Dryer. ($156) Update: about a week later (after my washer & dryer were moved), I was having trouble balancing the washer (matching set with the dryer - 26 yrs old). It was rocking and making lots of noise. Dave came out, and showed me how the rust on the washer was causing the bar that balances the back of the machine to stick and how to dislodge and it make it set down properly. This made the machine run smoother, but still a bit shaky. He then replaced the suspension pads which reduced the shaking to almost none. He suggested that having the washer sit on a cement pad, rather than on the wood platform that it was on, would make it run more smoothly. (additional $65)

I called Hull Lamar to come repair the door on my JennAire double oven and replace a light in it. They came within 24 hours of my call, determined the problem, and fixed it within 2 hours. They were prompt, courteous, and fair in their pricing; and I will definitely use them again

They went above and beyond. They were amazing. They were very prompt. He fixed the dryer and he was very knowledgeable about it. And then I asked him to just look at the washer, because there is a thing in the front that you have to clean out, and he said yes, no problem. He did that and he just charged me for the extra time he was here and that was it. The work he did was excellent. I will use them from now on.

The owner was quick to respond to my phone call, arrived quickly and made the repair quickly. My machine works perfectly again. He also took the time to tell me how to maintain it. This is a locally owned small business; I would definitely call them again.

Dave Hull arrived at scheduled appointment on time. He was very skilled, professional and personable. Dave brought the part with him to fix the problem and was here for only about one hour. Will use Hull-Lamar's services again. Thanks, Dave! :-)

Hull Lamar was able to detect the problem quickly. Had the piece in his truck and replaced it. Quick, easy and inexpensive.

Put in a call and he came and repaired the dishwasher the same day.

I love them! He came out right away in 30 minutes. He was here for an hour for $90. Reasonably priced. I really like them he is very nice.

The technician assisted me over the telephone to get the water shut off to the dishwasher. This consisted of shutting the water off to the hot water heater and opening faucets in the basement to drain the hot water lines. Upon arrival, he ran various checks and determined the water valve was stuck open. He replaced the valve, turned on the water and tested the dishwasher. It operated normally, as expected. He arrived within an hour and was at my house around 25 minutes. I am very pleased with his work and his punctuality.

I am super happy with them. It cost me $90 for half an hour plus parts but it was done within 30 minutes and the part wasn’t expensive. He was very nice and very knowledgeable. He checked my dryer and balanced my washer. He was just very helpful. I talked to him about my refrigerator and he sent one over for it.

I am home for a day and they fit me in to their schedule so they can fix it and that meant a lot to me.

I did not use this service because they don't give service calls on weekends, and I needed them on a Saturday morning. I respect their policies, AND highly recommend them for their professionalism and caring attitude. Here's what happened: On a Saturday morning, before I have to fly out early Sunday, I needed to so laundry to prepare for my trip. Hull isn't open on Saturday for service, however, when I phoned, a technician who answered gave me some advice over the phone, and then also suggested that an off-duty technician MIGHT come by to help me, or have an idea who else might be able to come by to repair my washer. He gave me Dave's phone number, and I phoned Dave. Dave could not come service my washer on the weekend, however, he stepped me through the process of checking the siphon on the out-take hose. I performed that myself, adjusted the siphon, and now, I am up and running the washer. CANNOT THANK HULL enough for being caring, responsive, and professional. I will definitely use them in the future for all of my appliances in my home, AND my rental properties, as I find them to be a valuable resource.

I called them with the model number and serial number. We talked about what the problem might be and they diagnosed the problem without coming out. They ordered the part and then came for the installation. It is working perfectly.

I left a message on Sunday afternoon, and Mr. Hull called first thing Monday. He offered to come that morning, but since I was at work, a Tuesday afternoon appt. was scheduled. After arriving, Mr. Hull quickly diagnosed the problem, then also discovered a broken part in my agitator. He repaired both and was gone in less than thirty minutes. The washer is now performing like new. It was a great experience, and we will use them again.

Called yesterday morning. Dave showed up in about an hour. He fixed the problem in short order and gave me some good advice regarding dryer maintenance and checked my vent system.

Because it's the universal law of appliances, my clothes dryer quit drying the clothes on Saturday. When I returned from the laundromat, I used Angie's List to make some calls, using only companies on the A list. I got a call back the same day and scheduled repair. The man said that they could be there Monday or Tuesday, which worked for me. Before I left for work Monday, I got a call from the repairman, gave him street/driving instructions and he was here quickly. He examined the dryer, pulled the heating element out (it was obviously burned/broken), and replaced it. In addition, without even being asked, he dismantled the vent and cleaned it out. The lightbulb was out and he helped me look all over the house for a replacement so that I didn't have to put it in. As it happens, he's the grandson of the founder and it was his father who returned my call. They've been doing this a long time, they're good at it, and couldn't be nicer. Use this company!

I left a msg w/ Dave a little before 8 AM this morning. He called back @ 8:10 AM and was at my door @ 9 AM. (He said he wasn't far away and his morning was less busy than his afternoon.) The repair took approx. 25 minutes. Dryer is working again. Great experience. Would use again.

I called him on my way to work over a holiday weekend. He told me that he was heading out of town but would contact me when he returned. He was quite punctual in returning my call and came to my house as soon as possible. Our dryer was repaired in one visit. My husband was very impressed with the repairman's demeanor. He clearly knew these appliances well. Our dryer works very well now.
