They arrived within one hour of our first call! They had the part in stock and it was fixed properly. I would absolutely hire them again. We are very happy with their services.

The service representative was polite and was able to determine the problem over the phone. He needed to order a part for my oven and had it by the next morning and was able to install it in a timely manner. He was very professional yet personable and even petted the dog

Angie's List Hull Lamar did a great job. A man came out within one day and fixed my refrigerator. He was very nice and professional. I would recommend the company to anyone.

This is an update to my report. My daughter was reimbursed for the service call, The technician apparently made a mistake diagnosing the fault as a bad compressor. Everything has been resolved, and since Hull Lamar reports from other customers is positive I would recommend them again. And my faith in Angie's list recommendations has been restored. Original report- My daughter's refrigerator stopped cooling, I suggested she call Hull Lamar because of the Angie's List rating. Her refrigerator is a Kenmore, about 7 years old. After analyzing the problem the service technician told her the compressor was bad, very expensive to fix and she should look for a new refrigerator. He wrote "compressor relay, bad compressor " on the ticket. She started shopping for a new refrigerator and after talking the people at Sears decided to have one of their technicians take a look because a 7 year old refrigerator should not need a new compressor. The Sears technician came and determined that the compressor relay was bad, replaced it, a simple fix, and now the refrigerator is cooling. Even though the Hull Lamar technician noted that the compressor relay was bad on the ticket he did not try a new one and charged her $100 for the service call. To say the least we are disappointed in this Angie's list recommendation

He not only fixed my dryer but he said there were one or two potential things that could go wrong and he went ahead and fixed those as a preventative. I have a 19-year-old Maytag washer and he proceeded to discuss with me that I should never let anybody take that away from me. He said that they should have to pry it from my cold dead hand because it is such a good appliance. They charged $80 to make the call and that was all it cost me. He is the co-owner of the service and he was the one that made the call and I will definitely use them in the future.

Was quick and easy and cost me much less than a new dryer.

I contacted them by phone and they were able to diagnose the problem and the needed parts. After I gave them the serial numbers of the appliance, they did some research and they found out that the needed parts are no longer available (a typical situation these days for major appliances). Therefore, the appliance is not repairable, they didn't come out to my house and there was no charge.

I called and was speaking to the repair man instead of a scheduler, so I could discuss the problem before he came out. He came out the next day and was very HONEST, nice, knowledgable and efficient. When I described the problem he knew right away what was wrong and relaced only the part that was needed. I now have a new appliance repair company that I will call every time I need a repair.

The service was splendid. It was an old appliance that nobody else knew how to fix or had the part for. The price was very reasonable. I would absolutely use them again.

Hull Lamar Inc. came right out when I called them. They were very prompt and found out the problem with my refrigerator right away. The problem was too expensive to fix so I bought a refrigerator from a different company to replace my old one.

Called on a day we were having a near blizzard just to get listed for a later call. Was referred to Dave Hull their "dryer man" and the next day, with the city still covered with snow he called that he was on the way. He got right to work and fixed the problem in no time. Outstanding service by this firm.

Hull Lamar was fantastic! They do not disappoint from the rating on this site! I called them on Friday morning and I met Mr Hull at my house at 3pm. I left work early and he beat me to my house and he waited until I got there, without giving me any grief that I took about 5 minutes longer to arrive than I had anticipated. Mr Hull was also incredibly friendly to my dog and was excellent at making small talk- he could carry on a nice conversation while working and providing advice. First he fixed the heating element on the dryer. He knew EVERYTHING about my machines and then provided some great advice to ensure it wouldn't happen again. He moved on to the washer and fixed that as well. One issue that caused the balance issue in my washer was overloading the washer. He gave me advice on load size and weight. He was very kind and finished in about 45 minutes! I will definitely use this company again!!

Dishwasher would not work. He checked out the dishwasher and then determined that it was a problem with the outlet. He checked the breakers and then took the outlet out and rewired it. Worked perfectly. He was able to fix it, all within the trip charge. Great to work with.

Not much to add, except that he would be the first person we would call if we need any appliance repair. By the way, this was the second time we've called him. The previous call was a year and a half ago, to repair our dish washer. Our experience was exactly the same.

He was thorough. He gave a price that was far less than another company offered just to look at the machines.

They made two trips. The first to assess what the problem was, after which he said he would order the needed part. The next day two guys arrived - the first repairman and a partner who brought the part. Turned out that the little electric igniter on that one burner needed to be replaced. They were in and out in half an hour. Very professional, obviously were careful in their deductions as to what the problem was. This was a first rate experience. And the cost was quite reasonable, too. I highly recommend this company.

I called at 8:30 in the morning and he was here by 10:30 AM. He quickly determined the problem, checked his truck for the part and went to get a new part. He came back right away and finished here. Friendly and nice.

Called and gave Dave Hull the make and model number of the Whirlpool unit and described the problem to him; he called me back in less than an hour saying he had the parts and was on his way. Dave arrived on time and repaired the unit in less than half an hour. Excellent response and service. I can recommend Hull-Lamar without reservation.

It went excellent. They provided excellent service. They were very knowleegeable and the price was reasonable.

Our seven year old dryer quit drying. The drum would turn and it blew air, just not warm air. I suspected the heating element was out. Called Hull-Lamar and set an appointment. I work evenings, so they needed to be out in the morning. Dave came out first thing in the morning and within half an hour he had the problem diagnosed and the bad element replaced, as well as cleaning out lint that had been there for 7 years and checking the vent connections and the air flow to the vent. He was very professional and explained what he was doing. It's nice to know there is still someone that takes pride in their work and does an excellet job.

It's difficult to select a repair service, I call Hull Lamar, Paul answered the phone, I described my problem, he asked several follow up questions as to what was working, Fan, compressor. We scheduled an appointment, he was extremely flexible, I had a video conference call at work that day. He agree to meet when I was done, he called me at work to confirm that I had finished and met me at the house. In 15 min he had the problem diagnosed and even had the part. He made the repair effectively and for a very reasonable cost.

The repairman was here withing 30 minutes of my call. He discovered that the machine had not been installed correctly and that loose connections had burned the wires. He replaced the wiring and connections.
