Top Notch Heating Cooling & Plumbing

This was a great price. The 2 guys were punctual and courteous. My only frustration was that they drilled a single hole in each of my air ducts in order to get the vacuum in. Of course they cover these with tape when done, but was just a surprise. Maybe this is something most customers know or are told, but was news to me.....

Eric was very helpful and I texted him the part that I thought was broken and he called the manufacture to get the part and arrived at my house on time. He promptly fixed the fan that had broke and also did a quick inspection of the furnace to make sure everything was working properly. After a very cold night, our house is back to normal again.

The tech was responsive and worked quick. I had no concerns about his quality or professionalism. My only concern was the price quoted for replacing the existing AC/Heatpump. I received quotes for both A/C only and A/C+Heatpump and in both instances the quote was 10-20% higher then competitors.

I have mixed reviews on them. They did come back after an issue, but I was not particularly happy when all was said and done. I did not see them the first time they came out, my wife was here. After the first service the unit did not work correctly so they ended up having to replace a solenoid control. I would have had to think that they knew that was an issue because water was running through the unit even though the unit was not on. It was a big waste of water. They just charged me for the part the second time they came out.

They did my furnace inspection and said it checked out okay but never actually cleaned it to my knowledge. It was really quick so I don't even know how efficient the cleaning was. I had to remind him of what they were doing and they were rude to my carpet cleaner.

The job was performed at my daughters house in Gardner, Ks. She is very happy with the punctuality, professionalism, and service provided by Top Notch Heating Cooling & Plumbing. The results are as expected. We have nothing negative to say about this experience.

I felt I got a good value since everything was included (which many do not...they try to add extra for returns/trunks/etc.). It seemed like they did a thorough job. My only complaints would be that it seemed like the two individuals working didn't seem too happy to be doing the job and they left mud on the carpet as well as dirt on the beds where they set the vents. Overall, they cleaned up fairly well and I noticed they put on shoe protectors. I'm guessing they didn't take them off going in and out of the house though which defeats the purpose of them in the first place.

Wow. The name says it all. TOP NOTCH. Eddy did a great job. His honesty and thoroughness was excellent. I will recommend this company anywhere. Thumbs up. Can't say enough.

Everything went as planned; but after they left I noticed the garage vent was not put back into the ceiling nor were the dirt particles cleaned from the floor that fell from the vent cleaned in the garage. I asked my furnace company if duct cleaning companies normally cut a large hole in the furnace duck to clean the house ducts. He said that was normal and the large opening was very professionally replaced and looked very good. Other wise I would use them again.

Did a thorough job. I was very pleased.

They worked longer than I thought they would ,given it was a special pricing. Our old dryer works 100% better now- I am impressed with that alone. I expected them to cut a few corners or not attempt to do our top floor because the vents are in the ceiling but no way did they. Both servicemen seemed to really enjoy their jobs. We would hire them again.

Took a few days to get a part, then delayed a day

Very punctual crew. Were very careful of protecting our house from dirt and debris. They explained everything that needed to be done. They checked our air conditioner air filter and did a visual inspection on the outside unit. They were a very hard working, efficient and courteous crew. We noticed after they left that they changed out our old dirty air filter and replaced it with a new one we already had and disposed of our old one for us. They wrote the expiration date on the new filter for us!! Great job!!

They did very well , there overall impression was well.

The company contacted me to schedule a date weeks in advance. In addiiton, they called when the technicians were on the way. The technicians were professional and efficient. I would recommend this service to others.

Things went great and everything was cleaned up afterwards.

Tom and Wayne were the ones who came onsite to perform the work, they both arrived on time. Earlier this morning we had a nice little rain shower move through and they both brought shoe booties and were respectful of the home. They first came and toured the house and explained the process, asked if we had any further questions before they got started. I worked from home this day so hanging around the house wasn't a issue for me for the couple hours it took. They cleaned up very well and were very friendly and professional the entire time. Seeing the junk they cleaned out of the system was both encouraging and gross that we had been breathing in whatever was in there! Also I could visually see each vent was cleaned. I was amazed. They performed the visual inspection of the a/c unit, replaced the air filter. At the end of it all they reviewed everything that they did and offered their annual "vip" service. They were not pushy at all, just offering their service.

These guys were great - very polite, thorough and respectful of my home. They were there for awhile because they took care to treat every single vent. They cleaned up after themselves and left the house cleaner than the way they found it. They explained their process and educated me on maintenance of our heating system, giving tips for $ savings. We got an incredible deal through Angie's List, but they didn't skimp on their service even though we didn't pay much. Very happy and will seek their services in the future.

Went mulch better than first time as they realized we actually do have a contract dot check and they called me rather than vice versa

The deal was for $179 and they claim I was outside their service area. Their website states they service Jackson County. I do not feel comfortable using the company when they attempted to charge me an additional trip charge of $50.

Unfortunately, he said there wasn't much he could do to help us, but gave us lots of tips on how to try to help air circulation, shutting basement vents and cleaned our A/C, which is new. Did everything he could but said to really fix the problem wouldn't be easy or cheap. I was glad to get an honest answer even if it wasn't what I hoped for.

I purchased a Angie's list deal for a service call and the Top Notch technician diagnosed low coolant in the AC. He recharged it and everything is working great. He was very friendly, and took the time to fully charge even though for some reason it was charging very slowly. I would definitely use Top Notch again.

Mike and his teams offer exceptional service. From the people who answer the phones, to the after hours troubleshooters, to the installers this was a terrific experience. Communication was excellent and all services were very professional. Everything is explained from start to finish, not only by Mike but by his team. Not only did the on-call after-hours service tech return my call quickly when I had a concern, he called again the next day to ensure that everything was fine. I highly recommend Mike and the team at Top Notch (so aptly named) because he not only works hard to please his clients but it is obvious that he is a professional who is managing to create an organizational culture where people are engaged, take responsibility and expect to be accountable for quality. I could not be happier. For the first time in years my upstairs is actually cool regardless of the heat outside. Thank you Mike and team.

No service was provided. It took me some time to receive the credit to my card after learning that I was not in the service area. I assigned a "F" for an overall rating. N/A was not an available choice.
