Description of Work: I called Top Notch because we were referred by a service person who did some work for us. We need a new air conditioner. I called Top Notch to inquire about a new air conditioner. He asked for the address. When I gave him the address in Grandview Missouri, he told me Top Notch doesn't serve Grandview. Top Notch is apparently providing false advertising when they say in their ads, and on Angie's List, that they serve Metro KC and Johnson county. This is a lie and very disappointing, as were were prepared to pay cash for a new unit.

Description of Work: Furnace failed at 7:30 pm on Sunday evening. It was to be single digit temperature over night. Person on call came out and replace a capacitor that had failed. There was no up charge for Sunday service. $99 to come out, the remainder was the part and tax.

Description of Work: They installed a new water heater, removing and disposing of the old one. They called and scheduled an earlier date because of a cancellation which was much appreciated. Laid protective cover over the floor, especially helpful since it was rainy and muddy. Installation is very neat and tidy. Appliance was set to requested setting, works well. All and all extremely satisfied. |

Description of Work: Top Notch provided a competitive bid for a full furnace and AC replacement; they were punctual and provided the most detailed bid including explanations of each component of the bid. They were especially concerned with installing the new furnace prior to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Description of Work: The installation crew was punctual and quite amenable. My only beef, and a minor one at that, was that the crew showed up without all the tools, equipment and materials needed for complete installation of the water heater...they had to borrow some of my tools and made several trips to the local Ace Hardware - allowing them to get what they needed in short order. They also had to replace a couple of water supply valves for which they were unprepared; ergo, another trip to the hardware store.
