They showed up when they had scheduled. However, it was several weeks out from when I had called them. When they arrived, it was quite a laborious process, probably 4 hours of work. They were courteous and helpful in detailing what had been done. Afterwards they showed the amount of dust and cobwebs they'd gotten out of our ducts, and it was quite a lot. We immediately noticed that the furnace intake vents had much more airflow, so much so that the noises from the furnace and airflow were noticeably louder! (I have gotten used to these now, and don't notice them any longer) Great service, punctual, and a great deal at 50% off. The only problem that occurred was that our main floor intake vent had been sealed into place over years of painting. They worked best they could to get it off, and when they finally did it took a 3" x 2" piece of paint as well as some smaller pieces around the boundary of the grate. Not horrible, but noticeable! They said it had to be done to complete their work, so we permitted it.

The technicians showed up when they were slated to. They walked the house and counted the vents and air returns. They told me that the vents were not that dirty, but I asked them to clean them anyway. They were done in about two and a half hours as promised.

Another HVAC company came to inspect our furnace and informed us we needed a new furnace to the tune of $6000+. We called Top Notch for a second opinion and they simply replaced our blower motor, plus addressed a problem with condensation in our flue. Very honest and professional. We will definitely hire them again.

No problems until about 10 months later when it stopped working. It was covered under the warranty and they came to fix it the following day.

The service technician was very thorough assessing and performing maintenance on my heating and cooling system. I was very impressed with the level of knowledge the service technician displayed when providing answers to all of my questions. This is a company that I highly recommend doing business with.

Two guys showed up on time and worked quickly and thoroughly. Anything they had to move was put back into place. It left a bit of dust around the house, which I hadn't anticipated but overall the job was done very neatly. And, they surprised me by replacing the filter for the humidifier and furnace. Would definitely recommend them for this service.

For the 2nd year in a row we've used Top Notch Heating & Cooling. They've done a great job everytime. Last year we had them out for the first time and the technician showed me things on our furnace and duct work that no one had ever taken the time to show me. They are always quick and professional and have always been able to answer any questions we've had.

Overall the service was great! We're happy with the humidifier and the installer was very informative and gave me all the information I needed in regards to the humidifier.

Purchased the A/C inspection. The gentleman came and inspected both A/C units and found some minor repairs that we needed to have done. The price was reasonable and we had the repairs done.

i am very pleased with the results. We have some issues with birds nesting in the dryer's vent and as a result of that the lint was going to the regular ducts (some of it) now is clean. Thank you.

I called to get a bid on replacing my thermostats. The price was too much but I will say that they are competitive with a couple of other companies I called. I found the owner quite responsive and very willing to answer questions and followup.

Everything was great. My A/C is very old so he gave me the option of getting to good service levels or waiting until it quits (which will be soon). I opted to wait. They are coming soon to do my furnace check-up.

Overall, the experience was fine. I chose Top Notch based on the Angie's List reviews and a timely discount offer. The offer was for $199 and included 12 vents. Once the technician came on-site he explained that to clean all of the vents I would have to pay an additional amount. I can't remember exactly how much it was, but it was over $140. Although I though the amount was steep, I understood there were a limited number of vents included in the discount and I appreciated that the technician discussed it with me before doing any work. In the end I just had the return vents cleaned. I paid an additional $30. It would have been helpful to know in advance the cost for each additional vent. Both technicians were professional. Some of my vents have the original grates on them and had over time been painted. The technicians were able to cut through and take them off without any major or unexpected damage. Again, the benefit was that the technician discussed this with me in advance. I rated this company a B only because there isn't an A- option. I would have given a solid A if there had been a pre-assessment call that asked about the number of vents and talked with me about the additional costs then.
