Very easy to schedule apt. They called the day before to confirm. Called that morning to say they would be on time. Two people showed up on time. They did a very thorough job and cleaned up debris afterwards. They did a great job and would use them again.

I thought their price was very reasonable and the plumber was also very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely consider using them again.

Great. It was a Holiday and the technician made an effort to fit us in his schedule.

They did a tune up of my heat pump and even got my old dehumidifier working again. I had some problems creep up immediately after Kevin left, but he was very prompt in returning my calls and talking me through a solution.

The company wasn't able to perform because their equipment wasn't compatible with my HVAC system, and I should add that they were much more professional about it than you are about arranging a refund...

The maintenance part went great. The technician showed up on time, very friendly and professional, and got the work done quickly. The inspection part could use a little improvement. The AC unit made a very loud noise when it shut off. When I asked about it, the technician said I could not do anything about the noise, but it was fine. Another HVAC company that came out to do home warranty work on our water heater and he said he noticed some oil leaking from the condenser. When I asked the technician about that, he said he did not see anything. It turned out the noise was a failing reversing valve and the failing valve was also leaking the oil. We found that out 6 months later when it was 90 degrees outside. So after two days in a sweltering house, we had an non-leaking AC that is quiet after it shuts off. It would have been very nice to get this fixed before the unit failed.

We scheduled an appointment for the work. However, we ended up changing the appointment until after we have our hardwood floors to be installed and the refinishing.complete. They were very accommodating and there were no troubles. They will be doing the work in the beginning of June.

Everything was fine. They left no mess behind. The technician did recommend having a humidifier installed. We had no work done and he completed the inspection.

Communication was poor from the start. Mike eventually intervened and got an appointment set up, though the office still seemed confused. The tech came out and performed the service and convinced us to replace a part that, after doing some research, I wish we didn't replace. We also had a few questions about our AC system, because it had been performing extremely poorly. The tech seemed more interested in getting to the next appointment, rather than answering our questions. I found a smaller company that the owner comes out to perform services himself, and switched to them. Updated review to fix date of service performed.

Very professional. They rescheduled at my request a few times, without difficulty. They arrived on time the day they came and seemed to work efficiently. They pointed out a problem with one of my returns that I should be able to have repaired without too much trouble, but would never have noticed myself. I would use them again.

Guys were great and honest. After looking over the way my house is set up they determined they wouldn't be able to do only about 50% of my house. They needed different kinds of accesses to ductwork to blow FROM ducts to main runs to pull out debris and since they couldn't access all the points in main runs to do that the yuk would've just sat in low points unable to be removed so they were honest and informed me of all that AND recommended another company to try they uses a different process. They said even THEY might not be able to do my house because I have no basement but being a reverse ranch, just first floor access in which all my duct work is dry walled over and finished.

It went well! The technicians came to my house, looked at the duct system and determined it really wasn't necessary to clean it. The ducts were not very dirty and there was evidence that the ducts had been cleaned previously. Instead, they cleaned out my dryer vent and replaced my furnace filter. We paid them for this work so that I could easily be refunded by Angie's List for the Big Deal.

The installation went well. I believe it is working fine. The winter does get dry at times.

.Service was performed, tech was on time. I asked if he could pinpoint the reason why the outside unit was making so much noise because of vibration. He didn't seem to know, but offered me two solutions - one for $250, the other for $400 (I think). I chose the $250 solution which I came to believe was a ripoff. He installed a vibration dampener on the copper freon line between the outside unit and the outside wall of the house. The dampener was about 2' long, about 2" in diameter and constructed of a heavy pipe surrounded by foam rubber. I would estimate that the dampener would have cost no more than $50 retail. The dampener did not work, it reduced the sound insignicantly, maybe 10%. But by the time I realized this (about a week later) the service had been provided, paid for & done. The unit worked for about 4 more months after that service then had to be replaced because it was old & worn out. I'm not blaming the failure of the unit on the service, but perhaps the tech could have seen the unit was not worth putting another $250 into.

The furnace stopped working again so I requested Bob come out and after some investigation he found a seized up blower motor. Bob had a motor but needed to run to get another part and completed the job and the estimate was spot on - no surprises.

was selling the house and the inspector showed a gas leak, even though I had just had another company fix the furnace to weeks before, and inspect it. I took advantage of the inspection offer on angies list, to see if they could find out the problem. The service tech, at first could not find a leak, and was about to leave, but continued to check, and did find a small leak at the valve. He left to go get a part and fixed it quickly after that. very courteous and prompt.

The hot water heater would not stay lit. Doug with Top Notch Plumbing came out promptly. When he tried to light the water heater he experienced flame roll out. When checking the burner assembly he discovered excessive rust residue collected on the burner which was possibly coming down from the vent pipe. Doug called his office requesting a HVAC technician to come check out the vent pipe going up the roof. Matt, Field Operations Manager, arrived and quickly assessed the deteriorated (extremely rusted) vent pipe in the attic up to the roof. Tom, HVAC technician, replaced 10' B-vent in the attic and cleaned out rust. Subsequently, Doug the plumber came back and replaced the burner assembly (under warranty) and re-lit the hot water heater. In addition, Doug noticed when the water heater was installed 3 years ago ( not by Top Notch), a T&P drip leg (code) had not been installed on the water heater. Doug added the drip leg at a very minimal price. From the ladies answering the phone, the follow-up, and to Doug, Matt and Tom, we could not be more pleased with the service and work done by Top Notch Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. Good Job Guys! House stopped heating overnight. Called Top Notch and they sent their service man immediately within 2 hours. He cleaned the furnace, replaced the air filter, also informed us that the capacitor needs replacement but should serve use well for another couple of years. If he wanted he could have lied to us and made extra bucks. But he was true to his work and went about doing his job in an honest way. Will always recommend them.

Service was as expected. No problems.
